Abstract

This study highlights the strategic significance of Islamic boarding schools as historic contributors to Islam's development in Indonesia. The pivotal role these schools play in community empowerment is realized through their business units. The research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on turnover intention, mediated by job satisfaction, in the business unit of Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic boarding school. Employing an explanatory research method, the study utilizes transformational leadership as the independent variable, job satisfaction as the intervening variable, and turnover intention as the dependent variable. Data is collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed with SmartPLS. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly positively impacts job satisfaction, while job satisfaction significantly negatively influences turnover intention. However, transformational leadership alone has an insignificantly negative effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction acts as a mediating factor in the influence of transformational leadership in preventing turnover intention. However, transformational leadership without job satisfaction, fails to prevent employee turnover intention. In this context, Islamic boarding schools can optimize transformational leadership and job satisfaction strategies to minimize employee turnover intention, thereby enhancing employee performance and contributing to community empowerment

Abstract

The development of disaster-resilient and disaster-safe tourism policies, policy strengthening and implementation of collaboration will be integrated into one disaster tourism management framework. In the past decade, Indonesia has never been separated from the threat of disasters or crises that hurt Indonesia's economic growth. Tourism suffers considerable losses from a tragedy or crisis that befell our country. Through the development of resilient and disaster-safe tourism, policy strengthening and collaboration implementation will integrate into one disaster tourism management framework aimed at strengthening the tourism sector's resilience and contributing to social and economic aspects. This article uses desk study and descriptive-analytical approaches. The author finds that the development of disaster-resilient tourism must be synergized with the context of disaster management, namely the pre-disaster stage, when a disaster occurs, and the post-disaster step, which is implemented through an alignment scheme for tourism policy and disaster management as well as collaboration between stakeholders through five stages of the program which aims to provide quick and responsive resolution and collaboration steps in dealing with recovery and long-term resilience actions, especially in the tourism sector with an integrated disaster tourism management framework. Some of the recommendations from this study include the New Regulation, which explicitly regulates disaster-resilient tourism, the intensive collaboration between ministries/institutions, the synergy of tourism programs and disaster management for disaster-prone destinations, and the realization of integration of tourism and disaster policies.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine what factors lead people in East Java use Bank Aladin Sharia services based on gender differences. Methods: The PLS-SEM Multi Group Analysis approach is used as an evaluation model in this study's quantitative methodology, which makes use of SmartPLS 3.0. The information was gathered by having respondents living in East Java to fill out an online survey, which was then divided by gender. 417 respondents who met the requirements of being Indonesian citizens, Muslims, and capable cell phone users were used as the sample. Results: Performance expectations, social influence, and price values”generally have an impact on a customer's decision to adopt digital Islamic banking services. The same outcomes were also seen in the male data group, demonstrating again how customer intents to use Bank Aladin Sharia services were influenced by performance expectations, social influence, and price values. The pricing value variable is the only factor influencing customer intentions in this female data group. Conclusion and suggestion: The study results show that different factors encourage males and females to use Bank Aladin Sharia services. Researchers suggest that Islamic banks can increase public understanding of sharia digital banking services. This study has limitations on the UTAUT2 variable as an exogenous variable. In future research, it is possible to modify the UTAUT-2 model by including a moderating variable.
