Abstract

Sultan Agung Street is the main road in Bekasi City which has a length of 5.5 km. On the Sultan Agung Street, there are many settlements and public facilities. However, this condition was not matched by adequate road infrastructure and public transportation facilities and infrastructure. This causes an increase in the volume of traffic and potential for accidents on Sultan Agung street. The purpose of this study was to determine the dominant causal factors of accidents and to determine efforts to prevent accidents on Jalan Raya Sultan Agung with the Upper Control Limit (BKA) and Upper Control Limit (UCL) methods. Based on the analysis of Sultan Agung Bekasi Street included in the category of accident-prone roads because there are two road segments having AEK values exceeding the BKA and UCL values. The coordinate point of the location with the highest AEK value is the third segment with an AEK value of 195 where the BKA value is 122,894 and the UCL value is 119,333. The most common type of accident is a Front-Rear hit by 37.5% of the total number of accidents. Time of accidents most often occurs at night with a percentage of 56% of the number of accidents.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the performance of the road before and after the provision of motorcycle lanes. It also aims to determine the lane effect on vehicle speed and alternative solutions. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, MKJI 1997 and Vissim Software were used as the research methods. Findings: The results of the existing road performance showing that the vehicle speed, DS, and level of service were 38.66 km/h, 0.84, and D, respectively. This indicated that the provision of motorcycle lanes was effective in improving road performance, due to the level of service for the LV and HV lanes increasing from D to B, with a speed increasing from 36.99 km/h to 40.25 km/h. The results showed that the level of service for the motorcycle lane increased from D to C and the vehicle speed was 49.92 km/h. While the level of service for LV and HV lanes being consistent with B and the vehicle speed was 40,04 km/h. Research limitations/implications: The level of service for the motorcycle lanes decreased from D to F with the speed decreased from 46.13 km/h to 41.23 km/h, subsequently indicating that the alternative solution was to widen the motorcycle lane. Practical implications: Margonda Road is one of the congestion points in Depok City. Margonda Road connecting Depok and Jakarta. The composition of motorcycles on Margonda Road reach more than 80% of the traffic flow. This conditions has an impact on decrease the road performance. In this study, the provision of motorcycle lanes will be carried out using the Vissim Software simulation, where the application of lanes is considered to be the solution to this problem. Abstract

Increasing the number of population and the development of activities will cause a growing need for space every day, this will result in physical changes and urban land use and can cause increased intensity of population movement from Megapolitan cities such as Bekasi, Bogor and Tangerang to the Metropolitan city (DKI Jakarta). Some people have now started to move from private vehicles to use public (mass) transportation such as buses, transjakarta, and electric rail trains or commonly known as KRL Commuter Line that serve Jabodetabek routes. The impact of crossing also causes buildup at each station. Train track with a single track (single track) is considered ineffective and inefficient and vulnerable to train accidents due to human error. It is necessary to develop or develop a double track to become a double-double track Bekasi Station km 26 + 652 - Jatinegara Station km 12 + 050. The research location is on the railway line from Bekasi Station to Jatinegara Station. The length of the train track is around 16 km and has 7 stations that are traversed, 5 of which are active (stop) and 2 passive stations.

Abstract

One of the problems in the city of Jakarta is traffic jams which cause losses of up to 36 trillion rupiah per year. The efforts of the local government to unravel vehicle congestion are the construction of rail-based public transportation such as KRL, MRT and LRT which is integrated with public transportation in other cities. One of them is the new public transportation operating, namely the LRT (Light Rail Transit). In realizing the public transportation system in the city of Jakarta, it is hoped that the community will switch from private vehicles to integrated public transportation so that the Jakarta LRT manager must provide the best service in the operation of the Jakarta LRT. The objective of this research is to find out the level of service quality provided to consumers, it is necessary to analyze the quality of service so that people want to switch to using public transportation from private vehicles so as to reduce the number of vehicles on Jakarta city roads. In this analysis, it discusses the satisfaction of LRT passengers in Jakarta Velodrome Route - North Boulevard by comparing service performance and service satisfaction then processing it using the "Importance Performance Analysis" method so that we can find out the position of service factors according to priority levels based on the quadrants in the Cartesian diagram, then analyze it with the Validity Test, Reliability Test and Normality Test with a sample size of 100 respondents using the SPSS program. The results of the analysis show that service performance and passenger service satisfaction get an average rating achievement, for service performance of 4.08 out of 5.00 (very good) and service satisfaction of 4.13 out of 5.00 (very satisfied). The results of the validity test obtained more than 0.165 (valid data), the results of the Reliability test obtained Cronbach's Alpha results of more than 0.6 (reliable data) and the results of the normality test were more than 0.5 (data normally distributed).
