Abstract

Meniscus tear is one of the most common knee injuries treated. The meniscus is essential for normal knee function, including load transmission, joint stability, lubrication, and nutrition of the articular cartilage. Loss of normal meniscus function leads to increased knee contact pressure and articular cartilage degeneration over time. Meniscus repair (meniscus repair) is one type of surgery performed. When the meniscus has to be operated on by sewing the torn meniscus. Physiotherapy plays an important role in meniscus repair with isometric, isokinetic exercises that aim to strengthen the grub of weak muscles. Objektive: improve to the next phase and increase functional activity to be able to return to the sports field. Methods: subjects were given isometric and isokinetic strengthening exercises for 4 weeks which were performed 3x/week. Results: evaluation was carried out using Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Range Of Motion (ROM) measurement instruments, Manual Muscle Testing, and Anthropometry. Conclusion: there was an increase in ROM, MMT, and Anthropometry after being given therapy exercise for 4 weeks.

Abstract

Diastasis recti is often characterized by a prominent midline following increased intra-abdominal pressure, thinning and widening of the linea alba, coupled with weakness of the abdominal wall muscles. Diastasis recti bise causes complications such as pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, umbilical hernia, incontinence, and prolapse of the uterus. To return the abdominal muscles to normal again, crunch free abs exercises or andominal exercises combined with bracing can be done. This study aims to determine the comparison of crunch free abs with abdominal exercises combined with bracing in reducing diastasis recti in postnatal vaginal delivery. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest – posttest design. The sample was divided into two groups, group A was given the crunch free abs treatment and group B was given the combination bracing abdominal exercise treatment. Based on the results of statistical tests with Mann Whitney obtained a significance result of 0.747 (> 0.05) so that it can guarantee that there is no difference in the effect of crunch free abs with abdominal exercises on the reduction of rectal diastasis in postnatal vaginal women.

Abstract

Physical fitness of a basketball player is an absolute requirement in running a game. Flexibility is one of the components of physical fitness needed by players to produce proper basketball techniques such as dribbling or dribbling techniques. This study aims to determine how the contribution or relationship of wrist flexibility (flexion) to dribbling ability in basketball games. This study was conducted on adolescents with an age range of 15-17 years. This research is a quantitative research without giving any treatment or training. The research sample consisted of 25 students who were members of the basketball extracurricular which were selected by purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Wrist flexibility was measured using a goneometer, while the dribbling test was used to measure the sample's ability to dribble. To test the hypothesis in this study, using the Pearson product moment correlation test to determine the relationship between the two variables with the results obtained a significant value of 0.000 which indicates a correlation between the two variables and the correlation coefficient of 0.728 which means the relationship between the two variables is strong. The correlation coefficient from the results of data analysis is negative, which means that the resulting correlation is inversely proportional so that the higher the wrist flexibility, the better the ability to dribble.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a relatively high rate of traffic accidents. Data from the Indonesian National Police in 2009 indicates that at least 57,726 traffic accidents occurred on public roads that year. This means that an accident occurred once every 9.1 minutes (Ministry of Transportation, 2010). The consequences for the victims themselves can include both physical and psychological effects. A patient named Mrs. Suhaeriah, aged 57, was diagnosed with a lumbar compression fracture at L1-T12. The physiotherapy issues identified included complaints of pain, muscle spasms, reduced range of motion, decreased functional activity in the lower back, and the patient also reported difficulty bending over, standing for long periods, walking long distances, and performing household chores. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is one of the interventions performed by physical therapists, utilizing low-voltage electrical currents to reduce pain in patients with lumbar compression fractures at T12 and L1. TENS can be used for acute pain with high frequency, high pulse width, and amplitude adjusted to the patient’s subjective comfort and perceived sensation. Core stability exercises are exercises that facilitate continuous isometric contraction of the deep spinal muscles at the lower levels, integrating into progressive functional training. Core stability exercises utilize motor learning principles to facilitate coordination of the deep spinal muscles.

Abstract

Despite extensive research on budget participation and managerial performance, critical gaps remain regarding the psychological mechanisms through which participation influences performance, particularly in public sector contexts where fiscal decentralization is formal rather than operational. This issue is especially pronounced in Indonesian Special Autonomy regions, where substantial fiscal transfers coexist with persistent performance and accountability challenges. This study investigates whether behavioral engagement mechanisms or structural fiscal arrangements play a more decisive role in shaping managerial performance in Merauke Regency, South Papua. Using cross-sectional survey data from 346 structural officials across 26 government agencies and analyzed through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the results show that budget participation significantly enhances job satisfaction (β = 0.326, p < 0.001) and managerial performance (β = 0.554, p < 0.001). Job satisfaction partially mediates this relationship, accounting for 21% of the total effect. In contrast, fiscal decentralization exhibits no significant effect on either job satisfaction or managerial performance. These findings highlight that, within transitional governance and Special Autonomy contexts, behavioral mechanisms embedded in participatory processes exert stronger influence on performance than formal structural decentralization. By demonstrating the limited effectiveness of fiscal decentralization in the absence of genuine operational autonomy, this study extends goal-setting theory and the two-factor theory to underexplored public-sector contexts. It provides policy-relevant insights for improving governance performance beyond structural reform alone.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic values in the intervention policy of Perum Bulog on rice grain prices in Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency. Price fluctuations and the dominance of middlemen as the main buyers often force farmers to sell their harvest below the Government Purchasing Price (HPP). This condition indicates that Bulog’s role as a price-stabilizing institution has not been fully optimal in maintaining price stability and protecting farmers’ welfare. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach and field research design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with farmers, middlemen, and Bulog officials, supported by secondary data from policy documents and relevant literature. The results show that Bulog’s interventions through HPP policies, grain procurement, and market operations have contributed to price stabilization; however, implementation remains uneven due to limited access, bureaucratic obstacles, and lack of socialization. From the perspective of Islamic economics, the values of Siddiq (honesty) and Amanah (trustworthiness) are reflected in price determination and farmer protection but have not been fully and consistently applied in practice. The value of Fathonah (wisdom and intelligence) appears in procurement and infrastructure policies but has not effectively reached remote production areas. Meanwhile, Tabligh (transparency and dissemination of information) remains weak, resulting in the incomplete realization of Maṣlaḥah (public welfare) for farmers.

Abstract

The quality of public services in population administration is a primary measure of local government performance. However, in Tinambung District, Polewali Mandar Regency, a gap remains between public expectations and the reality of available services. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of population administration services using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews with officials and the public, and documentation studies. Data were then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The research findings indicate that the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy of officers have performed well, characterized by data accuracy, speed of response, and a humanistic approach to serving citizens. However, the tangibles dimension remains a crucial weakness due to damaged electronic ID card recording devices and the lack of adequate waiting room facilities. The main conclusion of this study confirms that although the work culture of civil servants is oriented towards public satisfaction, overall service effectiveness is still hampered by a technical infrastructure deficit, necessitating the revitalization of these facilities and infrastructure as a priority for future improvement.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial performance measured through accounting profit and total asset turnover and corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure on the return of shares of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2023. Company size and leverage are included as control variables to obtain a more accurate estimate. Using 288 company year observations and applying quantum regression, the study provides a broader understanding of how explanatory variables behave at different levels of stock returns, especially in sectors known for their high capital intensity and exposure to commodity price fluctuations. These findings reveal that accounting earnings consistently have a positive and significant effect on stock returns at the 0.50 and 0.75 quantities, suggesting that profitability serves as a strong signal for investors, especially in companies with medium to high performance. In contrast, total asset turnover and CSR disclosures did not show significant effects across all quantiles, suggesting that operational efficiency and sustainability reporting are not key considerations for investors in the sector. The size of the company and leverage also did not show a significant influence, although their inclusion improved the quality of the model. Overall, the study highlights that investors in the energy sector respond to profitability indicators more strongly than information related to operations or sustainability.
