Abstract

Investment is a component that is used as a standard for measuring economic growth in a country. The high and low level of investment in a country will greatly affect the cycle and economic activity in the country. One of the investment instruments that is increasingly in demand by the public today is the capital market, including the Islamic capital market. This is based on the phenomenon of increasing the number of investors in the Islamic capital market, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic which is dominated by millennials and z generations. The increase in the number of millennial generation investors is supported by increasing awareness of financial literacy. Another supporting factor is the development of technology and information systems that make it easier to invest in investment platforms that can be accessed on gadgets. So the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the interest of the millennial generation of Parepare City to invest in the Islamic capital market. The influencing factors are financial literacy and investment platform as independent variables and investment interest in the Islamic capital market as a dependent variable. The research method uses quantitative descriptive research with the type of Field Research research (field research). The population in this study is the millennial generation of Parepare City, with a sample of 100 people. Based on the results of data analysis, financial literacy variables positively affect the interest of the millennial generation to invest in the capital market. The investment platform variable has a positive effect on the millennial generation's interest in investing in the Islamic capital market.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the implementation of Parepare City Regulation No. 7 of 2018 regarding the effectiveness of accountability in zakat management at BAZNAS Parepare. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of Mayor Regulation No. 7 of 2018 on the effectiveness and accountability of zakat management at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Parepare City. The research method used is qualitative research with a field research design. The number of informants in this study was 3 people from BAZNAS, and the data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research indicate that: 1) The implementation of Mayor Regulation No. 7 of 2018 on zakat management at BAZNAS Parepare has been carried out well in accordance with legal provisions for zakat management. BAZNAS has demonstrated commitment to accountability and transparency by integrating open reporting mechanisms that are easily accessible and comply with Sharia principles. 2) The effectiveness of zakat management at BAZNAS Parepare shows effective management, as evidenced by an open and easily accessible reporting system for the public, and BAZNAS's ability to ensure that zakat funds are distributed appropriately in accordance with Sharia principles and community needs. 3) Accountability in zakat management at BAZNAS Parepare indicates that BAZNAS Parepare has shown a high level of accountability in zakat management. The independent audit process validates BAZNAS's performance in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Sharia provisions, demonstrating BAZNAS's seriousness in maintaining transparency and integrity, and making zakat management responsive to community needs

Abstract

This research discusses the strategies of women's micro, small and medium enterprises in facing competition in Bacukiki sub-district, Parepare city. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a type of field research, phenomenological research approach. The main problem in this research is how women's micro, small and medium enterprises face competition in Bacukiki sub-district, Parepare city. It was found that women in micro, small and medium enterprises in the Bacukiki subdistrict of Parepare city had high motivation in running their businesses. It can be seen that women run businesses because of their hobbies, dreams of owning a business and becoming successful entrepreneurs and wanting to help the family economically. The steps taken by women so that their business continues to run as desired are that they carry out regular evaluations, both monthly and weekly evaluations, then seek more knowledge about the business they are running so that their business can develop further, and they determine their target market, carry out planning and provide promotions or discounts to consumers.

Abstract

Policy implementation is any action taken by the government, both individually and in groups, to achieve a goal. Extreme poverty generally means the inability of a community to meet basic needs such as food, drinking water, proper sanitation, health, housing, education and access to information about income and social services. The purpose of this research is the BLT program to help households that are vulnerable to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Qualitative descriptive research method. Primary data comes from direct interviews with direct beneficiaries of extreme poverty in Tambolongan village. The results of this study are: (1) The village government in determining extreme poverty communities still refers to Perkades 01 of 2023 which as been agreed upon with community leaders.    (2). Policy implementation carried out by the Tambolongan Village government includes communication, implementing attitudes, bureaucratic structure, and resources. The team involved in the policy of distributing Aid to extreme poverty communities is the implementing team carrying out the Fund Budgeting proposed by the coaching team for evaluation. After that, the Village Fund is ready to be distributed to people of extreme poverty. (3). The concept of economic empowerment for the people guided by the Al-Qur'an lies in the utilization and distribution of wealth evenly which is carried out properly and correctly. There are two provisions recommended in the    Al-Qur'an, the first is the command to provide assistance to the poor through infaq, alms and orders to feed the poor (ṭa'am almiskin), apart from being a form of first aid to the poor to maintain their survival, it can also It is understood that this is one way of Islam in empowering poverty

Abstract

Learning strategies through outing classes to improve aspects of child development. Learning is an important thing that is done in an educational process. Therefore it takes the right learning strategy. As for one of the learning strategies that can be done is through outing class activities. This outing class was conducted by SD Inp students. Toddopuli's flagship by visiting PT. Megah Putra Sejahtera, a company that produces instant noodles under the Megah Mie brand. The purpose of writing this article is to introduce students to the process of mass-producing instant noodles in a machine-run factory. In this community service the lecturer team works closely with the management of PT. Megah Putra Sejahtera, introduced and guided students during the visit. The result of this dedication is that students get additional knowledge and an overview of the world of management, in this case PT. Megah Putra Sejahtera operates and produces instant noodles in bulk packages.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are an important sector in the local economy, especially in the Pantai Biru Makassar tourist area. However, most SMEs in this area still face obstacles in managing business finances, such as no cash flow recording, mixing personal and business finances, and low understanding of basic financial management. This community service activity aims to improve literacy and skills of SMEs in managing finances through simple financial management training. The methods used include initial observation, module preparation, face-to-face training, direct practice, evaluation, and mentoring. The activity was carried out for two days in the Bira Village Hall, Makassar, involving 25 SMEs as participants. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of financial recording and business financial planning. The majority of participants also started implementing routine cash flow recording after the training. This activity proves that simple financial management training can be a strategic step to encourage the sustainability and professionalism of SMEs in tourist areas. Further training and ongoing mentoring are needed so that the benefits of the training can be felt in the long term.

Abstract

Pengembangan papan informasi dan signage di objek wisata alam merupakan kebutuhan mendasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman pengunjung sekaligus memperkuat fungsi edukasi dan konservasi. Kebun Botani “Denassa” sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis lingkungan masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan informasi visual, ketidaktepatan istilah flora dan fauna, serta penggunaan bahasa yang kurang efektif dan persuasif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menyusun papan informasi dan signage yang komunikatif, informatif, dan sesuai kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui survei lokasi, pengumpulan data flora dan fauna, penyusunan teks, diskusi revisi, serta pendampingan produksi papan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan teridentifikasinya empat zona utama yang membutuhkan papan informasi, penyusunan teks dengan struktur kalimat efektif dan ketepatan istilah ilmiah, serta penerapan bahasa persuasif untuk mendorong perilaku konservatif. Selain itu, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam konten papan memberikan nilai tambah edukatif dan memperkuat identitas budaya. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pengunjung, berkurangnya kebingungan arah, dan perubahan perilaku positif terkait kebersihan serta pelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan prinsip kebahasaan dan desain visual berperan penting dalam optimalisasi fungsi informasi di kawasan wisata alam.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of teaching using TikTok in improving students' vocabulary skills. The study used pre-experimental design. The sample was 34 11th-grade students using random cluster sampling technique. The researcher used a vocabulary test as an instrument based on several TikTok video contents that were taught. The vocabulary test was used as an instrument to find out the meaning of words, the use of words in context, and the parts of speech. This study conducted a pre-test to identify students' basic vocabulary abilities. In addition, the researcher provided treatment to achieve better vocabulary scores. Finally, a post-test was given to test the effect of teaching using TikTok in improving students' vocabulary skills. The pre-test and post-test scores were compared to see if teaching vocabulary using TikTok has an impact on improving students' vocabulary, and the data were analysed using a t-test. The results showed that the average pre-test score was 76.47, while the average post-test score was 91.76, indicating an increase. The paired sample t-test result was also significant, with a p-value of 0.000, which is lower than the alpha value of 0.05. It can be concluded that teaching using TikTok can improve the vocabulary mastery of students at SMAN 23 Makassar.Keywords: TikTok, Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS), education, health, and entrepreneurship on poverty alleviation in Indonesia, particularly in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No Poverty). A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data from the National Amil Zakat Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BAZNAS RI) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the 2021–2024 period. The data were analyzed through multiple linear regression with a panel data model. The results indicate that ZIS acceptance has a significant negative relationship with poverty levels, implying that higher ZIS collection and distribution can effectively contribute to poverty reduction. Meanwhile, school participation rates as an indicator of educational attainment show no significant impact on poverty reduction, suggesting that improvements in education quality and relevance are still needed to enhance its economic effect. Life expectancy, representing health indicators, demonstrates a significant negative influence, highlighting the essential role of better healthcare access and quality in reducing poverty. On the other hand, entrepreneurship, measured by the number of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), exhibits a significant positive relationship with poverty, which may reflect challenges such as limited access to financing, low business literacy, and weak competitiveness among small entrepreneurs. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening ZIS management, enhancing health services, and adopting sustainable strategies in education and entrepreneurship development. This study provides important insights for policymakers, zakat institutions, and communities in formulating effective strategies to accelerate poverty alleviation and achieve Sustainable Development Goal 1 in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPAS di UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II; 2) Mengidentifikasi strategi yang tepat dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPAS di UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti keterampilan, pengetahuan, motivasi, dan sikap positif guru, serta faktor eksternal seperti dukungan manajemen sekolah, fasilitas, kebijakan pendidikan, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Di UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II, tantangan seperti pemeliharaan perangkat dan gangguan koneksi internet masih menjadi hambatan. Strategi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru meliputi pelatihan dan workshop berkala, pembentukan komunitas belajar, dukungan manajemen sekolah, keterlibatan orang tua dan penciptaan budaya inovasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi teknologi interaktif yang sukses memerlukan pendekatan sistematis dan terencana. Dengan menerapkan strategi yang direkomendasikan, diharapkan guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, relevan, dan efektif, serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di era digital. This study aims to: (1) Identify internal and external factors influencing teachers' ability to integrate interactive technology in IPAS learning at UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II; (2) Identify appropriate and effective strategies to enhance teachers' ability in utilizing interactive technology in IPAS learning at UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers' ability is influenced by internal factors such as skills, knowledge, motivation, and positive attitudes, as well as external factors like school management support, facilities, educational policies, and parental involvement. At UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng II, challenges such as device maintenance and internet connectivity issues remain obstacles. Strategies to improve teachers’ capabilities include regular training and workshops, the formation of learning communities, school management support, parental involvement, and fostering an innovation culture. This study concludes that successful integration of interactive technology requires a systematic and well-planned approach. By implementing the recommended strategies, teachers are expected to create a more interactive, relevant, and effective learning environment while preparing students to face challenges in the digital era.
