Abstract

Market material is an economic subject matter in the study of more using lectures and memorization. This leads to a lack of ability for students to develop their potential and make students tend to be passive. Therefore, it takes a learning model that able to make students more active in learning. One of the learning models that can improve the quality and results of the economic learning of Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) with a Scientific approach. The purpose of this study is to know the Project Based Learning model is more effective in improving the results of the study of economic subjects of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang. This research used experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The method of collecting data in this study used observation methods and tests. The population number in this study was 108 students. Based on the results of the analysis, an increase in the learning outcomes of economic subjects for the experimental group amounted to 27.31% with an average score of 89.36 and an increase in the learning outcomes of economic subjects for the control group of 10.79% with an average score of 77.00. This shows that the Project Based Learning Model is more effective than conventional learning model or lecture in improving the results of the study of economic subjects of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang.

Abstract

One of the aspects of literacy that students must and need to be mastered as a provision for future life is financial literacy. This study aims to develop a learning model in economics that is valid, practical, and effective to improve the financial literacy of students of SMAN 16 Semarang. The type of research was research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Due to time and cost limitations, this research only reaches the development stage with a product trial to produce the final model of learning. Model validation used expert validation technique (Delphi exercise) with two experts carried out in two stages. The data collection used expert validation sheets, teacher and student practicality sheets, test sheets, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and explained descriptively in the discussion. The results of the study state that 1) The learning model meets the valid criteria, with a score of 4.05 in Stage I and Stage II with an average score of 4.32 in the very valid category 2)The results of teacher's questionnaire response have an average score of 4.30 and students have an average score of 4.31 learning model meets very practical criteria 3)The learning model has met the effective criteria. In the Paired Sample Test, there is a 2-way (t-tailed) significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a difference between before and after the learning model carried out. The N-gain test of 0.36 is in the medium category. Thus, it means that the simulation-based STAD cooperative using Nabung Saham Go is effective in improving students' financial literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the BMC application model, as well as the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Teaching Factory-based BMC Application Model for Improving Student Creativity at Central Java Public Vocational Schools in Semarang. The research was conducted using the Research and development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The preliminary study stage in this study used open interview observations from the teacher’s statements. The development stage of the BMC application model includes product design validated by experts, then implemented into learning tools that would be validated by practitioners as model users before being applied in the classroom to improve student creativity. The results of this study indicate that the Teaching Factory-Based BMC Application Model is valid according to the triangulation of sources through credibility, transferability, and dependability, conformability. Based on the practicality questionnaire and interview guidelines given by 105 students and 5 teachers, the results are "very practical". Based on the assessment of the effectiveness using the t-test with a significance level of 95%, the probability value/ P value of the paired t-test is 0.000 <0.05. Gain test with the average gain of 0.490 is in the medium category, meaning that students experience increased creativity after implementing the Teaching Factory-based BMC application model and is effectively used to improve student creativity.

Abstract

The National Education System is defined as a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that students can actively develop their potential to have spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, morality, media as well as the necessary skills needed by them, society, nation and state. Education is expected to form the Indonesian people who are able to master science and technological development required to build Indonesia. The method used in this research using regression analysis techniques model path analysis. The population in this study was carried out on grade XI students of State Senior High school in Pemalang Regency. The sampling technique in this study using cluster sampling technique. The variables in this study are independent variables which include the family environment, future orientation, while the dependent variable is the interest in continuing to the college of state senior high schools students in Pemalang. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The research results showed that the family environment had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation. Future orientation has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation. Family environment has a positive and significant effect on interest in continuing to college through learning motivation. Future orientation has a negative and insignificant effect on interest in continuing to college through learning motivation. Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing to college.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) merupakan lembaga pendidikan formal yang bertujuan menghasilkan lulusan yang terampil, mandiri, dan mampu bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Kesiapan kerja penting dimiliki oleh siswa SMK untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik kerja industri, bimbingan karier, dan lingkungan keluarga baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 619 siswa dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 161 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner yang diuji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis jalur dan uji sobel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh prakerin, bimbingan karier, lingkungan keluarga dan efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja. Hasil uji sobel, efikasi diri dapat memediasi pengaruh prakerin, bimbingan karier dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja.

Abstract

Along with the development of the era the role of education is very important in preparing quality human resources. So that the rapid change of times can be responded by educational products, therefore students need to pursue higher education to be able to improve their quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of family learning and socioeconomic motivation on the interest of continuing to college through learning achievement as a variable of mediation. The population in this study was 5930 students, with proportional cluster random sampling technique obtained sample size of 375 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using path analysis and sobel test. The results showed that there is a direct influence of learning motivation on the interest of continuing higher education 12.1% and the influence of total motivation to study on interest in college through learning achievement of 26.4%, there is a direct influence of socioeconomic family front on interest to college 17% and there is a total influence of socioeconomic family on interest to college through learning achievement of 31.8%. The total influence is greater than direct influence, so it is concluded that there is mediation between learning motivation and socioeconomic family as an independent variable on the interest of continuing to college. Sobel Test results stated that the coefficient of mediation is significant, so that learning achievement is proven to mediate the influence of learning motivation and socioeconomic family on interest in college. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there is a positive influence of learning motivation, socioeconomic status of the family, and learning achievement on the interest of continuing education to higher education in students of SMA Negeri Sekota Semarang both simultaneously and partially. The advice given in this study is expected that parents can improve their family's socioeconomic degree in order to facilitate their children's education and students have a better motivation to learn ahead and have an impact on increased learning achievement so that students' interest in higher education will be stronger.

Abstract

Teaching Factory program in the field of motorcycle service which is developed in SMK Bina Utama Kendal is quite well. However, it does not train students to gain practical experience in applying entrepreneurship. Students have not been involved in the planning, organizing, monitoring, and evaluating stages in the teaching factory program. This research aims to develop the management model of teaching factory programs that increasing student entrepreneurship in the field of motorcycle engineering and business competence.  This research use R&D methodology. The research procedure consists of (1) Introduction, (2) Developing Model, (3) Testing Model. The result of the study shows the management's last model in teaching factory program is valid, effective, and easy to use. It can be used to develop student entrepreneurship based on significant results between pretest and post-test. The model which is developed in this research use entrepreneur real concept by asking students directly and giving responsibility to start from planning, organizing, conducting, evaluating in teaching factory management. This model develops students entrepreneurship such as discipline, hard work, creativity, a sense of collaboration, honest, and goal-oriented. Furthermore, it increases student's knowledge and ability in the field of motorcycle engineering.

Abstract

This research purposes is to analyze cooperative’s strategy to improve its competitiveness based on information technology utilization. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach, analysis on cooperative competitiveness with Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) in consideration of input and output. Cooperative’s business development strategy employs an analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The analysis is conducted on active cooperatives with open data system (ODS) in Central Java Province. 64.82% of all cooperatives have utilized information technology in their business operation and 35.18% of all cooperatives have not utilized information technology in their business operation; Result of the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) using the Domestic Resources Cost Ratio (DRC) = 0.240 This Condition shows that the cooperatives business is efficient and has comparative advatage.  Private Cost Ratio (PCR) = 0.229, means the cooperative has been able to use its domestic use the actual price and has competitive advantage. Cooperative has comparative advantage and competitive advantage competitiveness. The results of AHP analysis with five development criteria show that the information technology criterion is the most prioritized criterion with weight value of 0.365; the capital criterion’s weight value is 0.218; the human resource criterion’s weight value is 0.195; the network criterion’s weight value is 0.164, and the marketing criterion’s weight value is 0.058. The cooperative competitiveness standard does not include export variable, thus further research needs to be conducted with different measuring tool from that of this research.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kepuasan anggota, antusiasme anggota, switching barrier, dan loyalitas anggota pada Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) “Merak” Rembang Kabupaten Purbalingga tahun 2015, untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan, antusiasme, dan switching barrier terhadap loyalitas anggota baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial pada Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) “Merak” Rembang Kabupaten Purbalingga tahun 2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) “Merak” Rembang Kabupaten Purbalingga sebanyak 194 orang. Sampel yang digunaka dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase dan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program olah data SPSS 16.00 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan anggota dalam kategorikan puas, antusiasme anggota rendah, switching barrier dalam kategori rendah. Sedangkan loyalitas anggota dalam kategori kurang loyal dengah hasil analisis regresi Y= 4,425+0,159X1+0,393X2+0,266X3. Besarnya pengaruh kepuasan, antusiasme, dan switching barrier secara bersama-sama sebesar 57,6%, sisanya 42,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan secara parsial kepuasan anggota berpengaruh sebesar 15,68%, antusiasme anggota berpengaruh sebesar 20,70%, switching barrier berpengaruh 9,86% pada loyalitas anggota Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Merak Rembang Kab. Purbalingga.This research aims to descibe satisfaction, enthusiasm, and Switching Barrier on members’ loyalty of “Merak” Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Rembang Purbalingga, to analyze the influence of satisfaction, enthusiasm, and  switching barrier on members’ loyalty of “Merak” Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Rembang Purbalingga 2015 both simultaneously and partially. The population in this study were all members of the “Merak” Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Rembang Purbalingga as many as 194 people. The sample used in this study were 66 people chosen by simple random sampling technique. Methods of data collection used were questionnaires and documentation. Then the data was  analyzed using percentages descriptions and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.00 for windows program. The result showed that the members’ satisfaction belong to satisfaction category, the members’ enthusiasm belong to low category, switching barrier belong to low category, and members’ loyalty belong to less loyal category with Y regression equation = 4.425 + 0,159X1 + 0,393X2 + 0,266X3. The amount of the influence of satisfaction, enthusiasm, and switching barrier on the members’ loyalty simultaneously was 57.6%, the remaining 42.4% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study, while partially, the influence of members’ satisfaction was 15.68%, the members’ enthusiasm was 20.70%, and the switching barrier was 9,86 % on the the members’ loyalty of “Merak” Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Rembang Purbalingga Regency 2015.

Abstract

Praktik Kerja Industri (Prakerin) merupakan wujud implementasi dari Pendidikan Sistem Ganda. Prakerin bagi siswa SMK sangatlah penting untuk dilakukan, sebab tujuan dari pendidikan kejuruan adalah menyiapkan siswanya untuk siap dan mandiri dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keberhasilan prakerin di SMK Bardan Wasalaman dengan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi, dimana terdapat 91 responden terdiri dari 27 orang dari akuntansi dan 64 orang dari farmasi. Dan untuk mendukung jawaban responden peneliti juga melakukan wawancara dengan 5 narasumber yang terdiri dari Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Humas, Ketua Program Studi Farmasi, Ketua Program Studi Akuntansi, Guru Produktif Farmasi, dan Guru Produktif Akuntansi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelian ini adalah statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aspek context dalam prakerin sebesar 32,54 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata yang terjadi pada aspek input sebesar 48,07 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Aspek process dalam prakerin menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 33,65 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan untuk rata-rata aspek product dalam prakerin sebesar 24,79 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) is a implementation of the Dual System Education. Prakerin for vocational students is very important to do, because the purpose of vocational education is to prepare students to be ready and independent in the face of the work world. The purpose of this research is to analyze the success of prakerin in vocational Bardan Wasalaman with models CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). This type of research used in this study is an evaluative research with quantitative descriptive analysis. This study is a population, where there are 91 respondents composed of 27 people from the accounting and 64 people from the pharmacy. And to support the respondents researchers also conducted interviews with five speakers consisting of Vice Principal of Public Relations, Chairman of Pharmacy Department, Chairman of the Accounting Studies Program, Teacher of Productive Pharmacy and Accounting. Data analysis techniques used in this study presented is the percentage descriptive statistics.The results showed that the average aspect in the context prakerin of 32.54 is included in the excellent category. Average in the input aspects of 48.07 is included in the good categories. Aspects process in prakerin showed an average of 33.65 is included in the good categories. As for the average product in prakerin aspects of 24.79 is included in the high category.
