Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using mnemonic methods in improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an in the subject of the Qur'an and Hadith of class VIII students at Mts As Syifa Jati Agung. This study involved 38 students who were divided into two groups: the experimental class and the control class, each consisting of 19 students. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. The test instrument used in this study has been validated and tested on class IX students before being given to class VIII respondents. The results showed a significant increase in the posttest scores of students in the experimental class compared to the control class. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 with a t-test for independent samples showed a Significance value <0.05 (5%) at equal variances assumed, which indicates that the research data is homogeneous. A value of 0.000 <0.05 confirms that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Thus, this study concludes that the use of the Mnemonic Method has a significant influence on improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an and Hadith of class VIII students at MTS Assyifa Jati Agung. The Mnemonic Method is proven to be more effective than conventional methods in helping students memorize the verses of the Qur'an. This finding provides an important contribution in the field of Islamic religious education, offering a new approach that can be integrated to improve the skills of memorizing the Qur'an among students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh penggunaan metode mnemonik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal al- qur’ an pada mata pelajaran al qur’an dan hadits peserta didik kelas VIII di Mts As Syifa Jati Agung. Penelitian ini melibatkan 38 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, masing-masing terdiri dari 19 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Instrumen tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini telah divalidasi dan diuji coba kepada siswa kelas IX sebelum diberikan kepada responden kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai posttest siswa di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics versi 23 dengan uji-t untuk sampel independen menunjukkan nilai Signifikansi < 0,05 (5%) pada equal variances assumed, yang menandakan bahwa data penelitian tersebut homogen. Nilai 0,000 < 0,05 menegaskan bahwa hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Metode Mnemonic memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an pada pembelajaran Al-Qur'an dan Hadits peserta didik kelas VIII di MTS Assyifa Jati Agung. Metode Mnemonic terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional dalam membantu siswa menghafal ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam, menawarkan pendekatan baru yang dapat diintegrasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menghafal Al-Qur'an di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract

Saat ini Corona Virus menjadi perbincangan banyak negara di dunia termasuk Indonesia didalamnya. Virus ini sudah menjadi masalah diseluruh dunia karena dengan penyebaran yang begitu cepat dan mematikan. Penularannya hanya melalui kontak dengan penderita yang ditularkan begitu cepat. Virus ini membawa dampak yang signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia dengan melemahnya ekonomi masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap  Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam rangka untuk studi pendahuluan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu dengan menyebar kuesioner dan mengumpulkan data-data mengenai pengetahuan masyarakat dan cara penanggulangan Covid-19 secara sederhana di masyarakat. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebanyakan masyarakat sudah mengetahui cara menanggulangi penyebaran virus ini secara sederhana. Untuk dapat mencegah penyebaran virus ini sangat diperlukan kerjasama oleh semua orang dengan sadar dan saling mengingatkan dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus ini.

Abstract

Abstrak: Jenis bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea L) bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai jenis teh herbal untuk Kesehatan yang memiliki efek farmakologi sebagai antioksidan. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kemungkinan penggunaan bunga telang sebagai bahan herbal dalam bentuk serbuk masih terbatas, termasuk cara konsumsi yang praktis dan kemampuan penyimpanannya yang lebih baik. Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengedukasi kalangan masyarakat tentang pembuatan serbuk teh herbal dari bunga telang sebagai kesehatan. Dari kegiatan ini diharapkan ada peningkatan dari sisi hardskill (kemampuan pengolahan bunga telang menjadi serbuk herbal) dan softskill (kemampuan berinovasi, berpikir kritis, dan kewirausahaan). Penyuluhan ini bertempat di Masjid At-Taqwa Dusun Tenjolaya, Sindangasih, Kecamatan Cikatomas, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Proses perizinan dimulai dengan mengajukan permohonan kepada kepala dusun, dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang mencakup penyampaian materi dan evaluasi. Mitra dalam aktivitas ini adalah ibu-ibu yang berada diwilayah dusun Tenjolaya sebanyak 23 orang. Dari hasil analisis data menggunakan software SPSS dengan cara Paired Sample T-Test dari 5 soal pertanyaan yang digunakan menyatakan terdapat hasil perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test serta post-test. Yang artinya telah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan bunga telang sebagai teh herbal untuk kesehatan dengan skor Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.Abstract: The Butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea L) are utilized as herbal tea because of their advantageous health benefits and antioxidant characteristics. Awareness among the public regarding the conversion of butterfly pea flowers into powdered herbal preparations that are convenient to consume and store for extended periods remains limited. This initiative seeks to educate the community about creating powdered herbal tea from butterfly pea flowers for health benefits. From this activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in hard skills (the ability to process butterfly pea flowers into herbal powder) and soft skills (the ability to innovate, think critically and entrepreneurship). The counseling session occurred at the At-Taqwa Mosque in Tenjolaya Hamlet, Sindangasih, Cikatomas District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. The licensing process begins with submitting an application to the hamlet head, followed by carrying out activities which include the delivery of material and evaluation. The partners in this activity were 23 women in the Tenjolaya hamlet area. From the results of data analysis using SPSS software using the Paired Sample T-Test from the 5 questions used, it was stated that there were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test scores. which means there has been an increase in knowledge about the use of butterfly pea flowers as herbal tea for health with a score of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan alami sebagai sumber obat semakin meningkat sebagai alternatif terapi untuk berbagai penyakit, termasuk inflamasi dan kanker. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO) ada sekitar 11,9 juta orang yang menderita radang sendi di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari interaksi turunan flavonoid yang terkandung dalam daun sambung nyawa (Gynura procumbent) terhadap enzim cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) dan enzim cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) sehingga dapat diprediksi mempunyai aktivitas sebagai kandidat antiinflamasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu secara in silico. Hasil Virtual screening pada turunan flavonoid dalam daun sambung nyawa yang berinteraksi dengan reseptor 1EQG terdapat satu senyawa yang memiliki energy Gibbs terendah yaitu senyawa homoorientin -9,3 kal/mol, sedangkan senyawa yang memiliki energy Gibbs terendah saat berintraksi dengan reseptor 3LN1 yaitu senyawa apigenin -9,9 kal/mol. Hasil molecular dinamic pada senyawa homoorintin terhadap reseptor COX-1 memiliki nilai RMSD 2,40 Å dan nilai RMSF 1,09, untuk senyawa apigenin terhadap reseptor COX-2 yaitu memiliki nilai RMSD 3,25 Å dan nilai RMSF 1,36. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi molekular dinamik dari interaksi terhadap reseptor cyclooxygenase-1 dan cyclooxygenase-2 terlihat bahwa homoorientin memiliki interaksi yang cukup stabil terhadap reseptor cyclooxygenase-1 (1EQG) dibandingkan interaksi antara cyclooxygenase-2 (3LN1) dengan apigenin.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning activity in Islamic Religious Education through the application of the Treasure Hunt type of Discovery Learning model. The background of this study stems from low student participation, especially in group discussions, due to monotonous conventional methods and limited access to technology. The method used is quantitative with an experimental design, involving 10th grade students at Tanjung Bintang 1 Public High School. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, with the control group using conventional methods and the experimental group receiving the Treasure Hunt type of Discovery Learning treatment. The instrument used was a learning activity questionnaire that was tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the application of this model significantly increased student activity, especially in group discussions. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of Discovery Learning and the Treasure Hunt game in upper secondary Islamic Religious Education. This study shows that the combination of these two approaches creates an interactive and collaborative learning atmosphere and changes the role of the teacher to that of a facilitator.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem of low student learning activity in Islamic Religious Education and Ethics classes, especially verbal and mental activities, which are still dominated by conventional methods and the use of less varied learning media. This condition calls for learning strategies that accommodate differences in student learning styles in the digital age. This study aims to determine the effect of auditory and visual learning styles assisted by interactive YouTube videos on student learning activity at SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung. The study uses a quantitative approach with a comparative causal (ex post facto) design. The sample consisted of 70 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure learning styles and learning activity, then analyzed using regression tests. The results showed that auditory and visual learning styles supported by interactive YouTube videos had a significant effect on student learning activity. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of two learning styles with YouTube media in the context of Islamic religious education. The implications emphasize the importance of utilizing interactive, learning-style-based media to design more effective, participatory, and relevant Islamic religious education learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model combined with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach on students' learning independence in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Building subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Bintang. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two sample groups, namely the experimental class that implemented PBL-TaRL integration and the control class that used conventional learning. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity) and t-tests to identify differences in the average learning independence between the two groups. The results showed that the implementation of PBL integrated with the TaRL approach significantly increased students' learning independence compared to conventional learning. This increase was especially seen in the initiative and creativity indicators in the learning process. Pedagogically, the PBL-TaRL integration created a more participatory, collaborative, and adaptive learning environment to differences in students' ability levels, thus encouraging the development of self-regulation and learning responsibility. The novelty of this study lies in the integrative design between PBL and TaRL in the context of PAI learning at the high school level, which is still relatively limited in empirical studies. Theoretically, these findings expand the development of problem-based learning models combined with a differentiation approach, in line with the constructivist perspective and the concept of the zone of proximal development, which emphasizes the importance of learning support tailored to the student's ability level. Practically, the results of this study provide implications for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in developing more adaptive, inclusive, and contextual learning strategies, and serve as a basis for schools in designing learning policies oriented towards strengthening independent learning. Thus, this research contributes to the development of Islamic education theory and practice that is responsive to the needs of students in the 21st-century learning era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually (SAVI) learning model on students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Bintang. The research background was driven by the low level of students’ learning motivation, as indicated by limited active participation, minimal initiative to ask questions, and the low feedback indicators provided by teachers. The study employed a quasi-experimental design of the posttest-only control group, with two tenth-grade classes selected through simple random sampling. The experimental class received instruction using the SAVI model, which emphasizes multisensory engagement and interactive feedback, while the control class was taught through conventional methods. The research instrument consisted of a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, with data analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity) and a t-test.The findings revealed that the implementation of the SAVI model had a significant effect on enhancing students’ motivation in learning PAI compared to conventional methods. Students in the experimental class demonstrated improvement in indicators such as perseverance, willingness to ask questions, and active participation, particularly in the aspect of feedback, which had previously been low. The novelty of this study lies in the application of the SAVI model in the context of PAI learning at the senior high school level, an area that has rarely been explored, thereby extending the existing literature by incorporating affective and religious dimensions.In terms of implications, this research contributes to the development of educational science by demonstrating that the multisensory SAVI approach is not only relevant for exact subjects but also effective in fostering students’ learning motivation and religious character. The findings provide valuable insights for teachers and schools in designing interactive, contextual learning and improving educational quality in the 21st-century learning era.

Abstract

Tanaman lidah buaya (Aloe vera), yang dikenal kaya akan kandungan flavonoid seperti apigenin, kuersetin, dan katekin, menjadi salah satu kandidat potensial dalam pengembangan obat antidiabetes. Tujuan peneliti menganalisis senyawa flavonoid yang terkandung dalam lidah buaya mempunyai interaksi yang stabil terhadap Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor (PPAR-γ) sehingga dapat diprediksi mempunyai aktivitas sebagai kandidat antidiabetes. Obat berbasis struktur metode desain yang dikenal sebagai molecular docking mensimulasikan interaksi molekuler dan memprediksi mode pengikatan dan afinitas antara reseptor dan ligan. Teknik komputasi yang dikenal sebagai molecular dinamic (MD) menunjukkan perilaku dinamis sistem molekuler sebagai fungsi waktu, memperlakukan setiap entitas dalam kotak simulasi (protein, ligan, atau air, jika ada) sebagai fleksibel. Hasil molecular docking dari 19 senyawa flavonoid lidah buaya nilai energi ikatan (∆G) senyawa petunidin dapat dikatakan baik karena memiliki nilai yang terkecil -8,3 mendekati ligan alami. nilai RMSD rata-rata 2 Å dan RMSF cukup stabil. Drug-likeness senyawa terbaik petunidin memenuhi semua parameter Lipinski rule of five, memiliki profil farmakokinetik yang baik, dan tidak toksik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa senyawa flavonoid lidah buaya, khususnya petunidin, berpotensi sebagai kandidat obat antidiabetes dengan menghambat reseptor PPAR- γ

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of the concept of  Pancasila Education in  students This research aims to determine the influence of joyful learning strategies assisted by clash of champions games on the understanding of the concept of Pancasila Education in class IV MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a quasi-experimental research of the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design type.  This research consists of two groups of class IV B as an experimental class and class IV A as a Control class. With a data collection technique using an understanding test of the concept of Pancasila Education in the form of Essay questions.  Based on the data processing of the results of the Normality and Homogeneity Test Analysis, it was obtained that the two sample classes were Normal and Homogeneous. The hypothesis test used an independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05 showing a Sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05, so that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that  the joyful learning strategy  assisted by the Clash of Champions game  has a significant effect on the understanding of the concept of Pancasila Education for grade IV students of MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh  rendahnya pemahaman konsep Pendidikan Pancasila pada  peserta didik  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi joyful learning berbantuan game clash of champions terhadap pemahaman konsep Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian quasi eksperimen  tipe Non-Equivalent Control Group Design.  Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV A sebagai kelas Kontrol. Dengan teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunkan tes pemahaman konsep Pendidikan Pancasila berupa soal  esai. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil analisis uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa kedua kelas sampel tersebut normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi joyful learning berbantuan game Clash of Champions berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas IV MIN  10 Bandar Lampung.
