Abstract

This study aims to improve sosial skills through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperatif learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out collaboratively with class teachers. This study consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were grade IV students of SDIT Insan Harapan Batam, consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. The data collection method uses documentation, observasion and interview teachnique uses of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Cooperative learning model can improve the social skills of fourth grade studens of SDIT Insan Harapan Batam. This is indicated by an increase in the number of students who reach the Completion Criteria (MB) and an increase in Classics. The percentage value of classical completeness is 85%. Cycle I meeting 62.96% increased to 77.77% and 88.88% in cycle II meeting I and cycle II meeting II.Thus through the Cooperatif Teams Games tournament (TGT) learning model can improve thesocial skills of fourth grade students at SDIT Insan Harapan Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to improve listening skills through the storytelling method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out collaboratively with class teachers. This research consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were second grade students of SD Ayu Insan Kusumo Edy Kabil Nongsa Batam, consisting of 12 students there were 7 male students and 5 female students. Methods of data collection using the technique of documentation, observation and written test. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the use of the storytelling method could improve the listening skills of the second grade students of SD Ayu Insan Kusumo Edy Kabil Nongsa Batam. This is indicated by an increasein the number of students who achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) and anincrease in Classical. The percentage value of classical completeness is: Cycle I meeting I70.60% and cycle I meeting II 73.91% then increased to 75.33% for cycle II meeting I and84.88% in cycle II meeting II. Thus, the storytelling method can improve the listening skills of second grade students at SD Ayu Insan Kusumo Edy Kabil Nongsa Batam.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan bencana alam yang secara berkala terjadi di Kabupaten Kampar, khususnya di Desa Batu Belah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab banjir, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan lingkungan dan pendidikan anak sekolah dasar, serta peran edukasi masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan, melibatkan 40 responden dari kalangan warga terdampak, petugas BPBD, dan tenaga kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama penyebab banjir meliputi curah hujan tinggi, penggundulan hutan, sistem drainase yang buruk, dan kondisi geografis dataran rendah. Dampak banjir mencakup pencemaran air, kerusakan sanitasi, peningkatan penyakit berbasis air, serta terganggunya proses belajar anak SD, berupa kerusakan sekolah, kesulitan akses, dan penurunan motivasi belajar. Upaya edukasi masyarakat telah dilakukan, namun efektivitasnya masih terbatas. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi antara perbaikan infrastruktur fisik dan penguatan pendidikan masyarakat sebagai strategi mitigasi jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the skills of writing persuasive essays in thematic learning using pop up book for elementary school students. The method used is a classroom action research method, the research was conducted at Elementary School 005 Langgini, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Subjects used in this study were class fifth with a total of  25 students consisting of 10 boys and 15 girls. Results of this study can be seen from the completeness of the cycle, it is found that in the pre-action activities, the class average score is 57.8 with classical completeness of 52%, increasing in cycle 1 meeting 1 to 60.2 with classical completeness of 56%, increasing in cycle 1 meeting 2 to 66.4 with classical completeness of 64%. The average value of the class in cycle 2 meeting 1 is 74.4 with classical completeness of 76%, and increased in cycle 2 meeting 2 which is 76.6 with classical completeness of 84%. Conclusion of this research is that through for media Pop Up Book in thematic learning for fifth grade students at Elementary School 005 Langgini can improve student learning outcomes in improving persuasive essay writing skills in thematic learning using Pop Up Book media elementary school students.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the low writing skills of the fifth grade studens of SDN 024 Limau Manis. One solution to overcome this problem is to use Pop Up media. This study aims to describe the application of  Pop Up media to improve studens’ descriptive essay writing skills in thematic learning of indonesian languange content. This reseach method is classroom action reseach (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two mwwtings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subject of this research of SDN 024 Limau Manis for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 9 students. Data collection teachniques used in this study were observation, test, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the researchers, it can be concluded that Pop Up media can improve students’ descriptive essay writing skills in thematic learning content in the thematic learning content of Indonesian languange students at SDN 024 Limau Manis, improve students’ descriptive essay writing skills, that is, from an average of 70,5% in cycle I, and increased to 80,5% with good criteria in cycle II.  Thus it can be concluded that using Pop Up media can improve students’ descriptive essay writing skills in thematic learning of Indonesian languange content in fifth grade students of SDN 024 Limau Manis.

Abstract

Keterbatasan guru dalam mengusai penggunaan teknologi terutama pembelajaran berbasis online menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya hasil pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai. Guru diarahkan untuk memamfaatkan media pembelajaran online terutama pada pembelajaran dengan google classroom. Penggunaan google classroom ini dikenal juga dengan pembelajaran blended learning. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan blended learning dengan penggunaan google classroom di Sekolah Dasar Pahlawan. Metode yang digunakan selama pelatihan adalah menggunakan metode demonstrasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Hasil pelatihan blended learning dengan menggunakan google classroom menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat memberikan inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dengan menggunakan fitur-fitur yang disediakan google classroom sehingga memudahkan peserta dalam mengajar mata pelajaran yang diampu. Diharapkan dengan model blended learning dengan menggunakan google classroom pada saat pembelajaran online dapat dijadikan salah satu solusi permasalahan pada saat covid-19 oleh guru saat mengajar di Sekolah Dasar Pahlawan.

Abstract

Multiple intelligences sering digunakan oleh para pendidik di sekolah, karena pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis multiple intelligences ini sebuah proses pembelajaran yang harus dipahami setiap guru untuk memperbaiki kualitaspembelajaran. Dalam teori multiple intelligences menekankan pada kemampuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan dapat menciptakan suatu produk atau karya. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang terdapat di TK Taskim Pekanbaru ini dilakukan tidak berpijak pada gaya belajar anak didik. Dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis multiple intelligences guru mengajar dengan memahami gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh anak didik tersebut, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan baik tentunya berdasarkan pada aspek-aspekkecerdasan jamak/multiple intelligences. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mengarah pada aspek kecerdasan anak guru tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal yaitu pada kecerdasan kognitif saja. Guru lebih pada kegiatan belajar dan bermain dengan memberikan variasi metode yang mampu merangsang kecerdasan setiap anak didik secara kooperatif, adanya aktivitas seni, serta mendesain cara mendidik yang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan anak usia dini.
