Abstract

Knowledge of dental and oral health in school children needs special attention becausethey are undergoing a process of growth and development. The condition of the previous teeth willaffect the development of dental health in adulthood, therefore it is necessary to take dental andoral health education from an early age. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling usinga combination of phantom and flash card media on tooth brushing knowledge in children atAisyiyah 32 Kindergarten Banjarmasin. This type of research is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). Analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test. The sample of this study was Aisyiyah 32Kindergarten children who were willing to be respondents, the sampling technique used waspurposive sampling technique. The results of the study on the effect of counseling on brushingteeth before 7,16 and after 9,64. The results Paired Sample Test obtained a mean different value(difference in average) of 2.48, with the known t-count value of 2.909, the p value of the test showsp = 0.000, so it is smaller than 0.05, (p = 0.000 < 0.05).The conclusion of this study is that there isan effect of counseling using phantom and flash card combination media on knowledge of brushingteeth in children at Aisyiyah 32 Kindergarten Banjarmasin which shows that counseling withPhantom and Flash Card Combination Media is effective in increasing students' knowledge abouthow to brush their teeth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine:  The effect of initial mathematical ability on students' mathematical communication ability;  The effect of initial mathematical ability on students' self-efficacy; The effect of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together and direct learning on students' mathematical communication ability; The effect of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together and direct learning on students' self-efficacy; The interaction between initial mathematical ability and learning model on mathematical communication ability; The interaction between initial mathematical ability and learning model on self-efficacy. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experiment. The sample of this study was 62 students of MAN 1 Medan class X, with a two-way ANOVA analysis. The results of the study showed that:  There is an influence of initial mathematical abilities on students' mathematical communication abilities; There is an influence of initial mathematical abilities on students' self-efficacy;There is an influence of the cooperative learning model type numbered heads together and direct learning on students' mathematical communication abilities; There is an influence of the cooperative learning model type numbered heads together and direct learning on students' self-efficacy; There is no interaction between initial mathematical abilities and learning models on mathematical communication abilities; There is no interaction between initial mathematical abilities and learning models on self-efficacy.

Abstract

The planting of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) in RW 5 Pebatuan Subdistrict Pekanbaru was conducted as part of the Community Service program of Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau students on May 9, 2025. This activity is a collaboration among lecturers, students, and local residents in empowering the community to provide and manage the TOGA garden. The method involved active community participation under the guidance of students and lecturers, resulting in the establishment of a medicinal plant garden that can be used for family health needs and community education. The results showed the success of the TOGA garden establishment with various medicinal plants beneficial for health and economic potential. This program is expected to be a model for community empowerment and the development of medicinal plants based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Local wisdom-based approach to create relevant, contextual, and in-depth learning is very important in social studies learning. This study aims to analyze the integration of Dayak Deah local wisdom in learning Social Studies with a powerful learning approach in Tabalong State Junior High School. The research method is qualitative with a case study design, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis to obtain data from teachers, students, and principals. The results showed that the integration of Dayak Deah local wisdom, such as the tradition of farming in shifts and the preservation of customary forests, was able to improve students' understanding of the concept of sustainability, the relationship between humans and nature, and socio-cultural values. Activities such as simulation of customary traditions and direct observation of the community provide a more contextual and meaningful learning experience. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding of local wisdom and the lack of local culture-based teaching materials affect the effectiveness of implementation. The conclusion of this study confirms that the powerful learning approach is relevant to improve the quality of local wisdom-based learning. With teacher training, teaching material development and digital documentation of local values, this model can be more widely adopted as a sustainable education strategy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep kesalahan dan pengampunan dalam kisah Adam dan Hawa, Yunus, serta Musa-Samiri dalam Al-Qur’an, dengan fokus pada implikasinya terhadap pembentukan karakter manusia. Studi-studi terdahulu banyak membahas kisah ini dari perspektif teologis dan historis, tetapi belum secara mendalam menghubungkannya dengan pendidikan karakter. Untuk mengisi kesenjangan ini, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research dan discourse analysis, mengkaji berbagai kitab tafsir serta buku Ethics of the Prophets karya Syekh Muhammad Al-Ghazali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan adalah bagian dari kodrat manusia, tetapi bagaimana seseorang merespons kesalahan tersebut menjadi penentu dalam perkembangan karakter. Adam dan Hawa serta Yunus menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang disertai taubat dapat membawa perubahan positif, sementara Samiri menggambarkan konsekuensi dari kesalahan yang tidak diiringi dengan pertobatan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa nilai kesalahan dan pengampunan dapat diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan moral untuk mengajarkan introspeksi dan tanggung jawab. Studi selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif lintas agama atau menggunakan pendekatan empiris guna memahami implementasi konsep ini dalam sistem pendidikan dan kehidupan sosial.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan sungai berbasis kewarganegaraan ekologis melalui program Adiwiyata di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Basirih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa karakter peduli lingkungan sungai sudah terintegrasi di dalam aspek-aspek program Adiwiyata. Adanya visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah yang memuat tentang lingkungan sungai, kurikulum yang sudah terintegrasi mengenai lingkungan dengan mengintegrasikan semua mata pelajaran materi terkait lingkungan sungai, optimalisasi kegiatan ekstrakulikuler khususnya pramuka terkait dengan lingkungan sungai, ikut berpartisipasi kegiatan-kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan pelestarian dan kebersihan lingkungan sungai, serta tersedianya dengan baik pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang ramah lingkungan. Implementasi karakter peduli lingkungan sungai sudah diimplementasikan cukup baik di sekolah tersebut, namun masih sangat perlu dilakukan optimalisasi kembali khususnya mengenai nilai karakter peduli lingkungan sungai. Hal itu harus dilakukan dari tingkat yang paling dasar agar mampu membentuk serta menanamkan kepada peserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

Problems in the management of tourism in Nateh Village. The main obstacle is the management of the tourism potential of this village is that there is no tourism manager, the village community is less participative in developing the tourism potential of Nateh Village, there are no digital tourism promotion efforts, such as websites or applications that can increase tourist interest in visiting Nateh Village. In addition, tourism is also poorly managed and promoted. This community service activity aims to produce a Nateh Village tourism management group, produce a Nateh Village tour package design, produce an augmented reality design for Nateh Village, and produce a Nateh Village tourism website that can be used to promote tourism potential in Nateh Village. The method used consists of observation, empowering tourism management communities, training to develop tour package offers, training on making augmented reality, training on managing websites, training on digitizing tour package offers, socializing the use of websites and applications, and evaluating activities. The results of this community service activity have provided a Nateh Village tourism management group, a Nateh Village tour package design is available which is included in the website, an augmented reality design for Nateh Village is available and a Nateh Village tourism website is available which can be used to promote tourism potential in Nateh Village. 4 tourism potentials and 5 tour packages have been produced which are promoted through the website and augmented reality.

Abstract

The tourist village is one of the natural resources that have the potential to be developed, given the increasing needs of the community, and one of them is a vacation. To form a tourism village, a set of components is needed which consists of management and participation of the community, education about tourists, and good relations with work partners in order to increase people's income. Nateh Village is one of the tourist destinations that promises a lot of natural scenery such as rivers, mountains, and beautiful caves. However, there are still many tourists who are not familiar with this village because the introduction to this village is still lacking. For this reason, the South Kalimantan community sevice team carried out community service in Nateh Village in the form of training on the potential of tourism villages through smart tourism and market digitization. The introduction of tourist villages can be done by using smart tourism as branding for a tourist destination and processed products through digital-based offers and marketing that we often hear with the term tourism digitization. Through this community sevice activity, marketing about the potential of the Nateh tourist village becomes more and more easily found on various social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and websites that directly managed to introduce Nateh village.

Abstract

Students’ low learning activity and outcomes in natural sciences learning are the problem discussed in this paper. The INTERNAL model integrates Inquiry, Number Head Together, and snowball throwing. This paper uses a qualitative approach and classroom action research (CAR), which was held for four meetings. Data analysis were teacher activity sheets, students’ learning activity sheets, and students’ learning outcomes sheets. Data collection techniques were observation and writing tests. The research subjects were 32 fifth-grade students of SDN Swato 2 Tapin for the academic year 2021/2022. The indicator of the success of students’ learning activity score was 58-72, and students’ learning outcomes, which has minimum standards under 70 with a classical percentage above 80%. The research results indicate that the teacher's teaching activity at the first meeting, which achieved 54 in the good category, increased to 74 in the very good category at the fourth meeting. Students’ learning activity classically at the first meeting that achieved 25% in a highly active category increased to 83,3% with a highly active category at the fourth meeting. Students’ learning outcomes at the first meeting with 50% classical completeness increased to 100% classical completeness at the fourth meeting. It can be concluded that applying the internal learning model can improve students’ learning activities and outcomes.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low language skills and learning motivation of group A children at Mukhlisoh Barito Kuala Kindergarten. This is caused by the low language skills of children which are not yet optimal, the lack of active involvement of children in learning activities so that children's motivation to learn is low when children carry out learning activities, so that they are always not enthusiastic and do not complete their assignments. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, analyze children's activities, analyze the increase in children's learning motivation, and analyze the results of children's language development. The research approach used qualitative and quantitative with the type of classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 4 meetings. The subjects of this study were group A children at Mukhlisoh Barito Kuala Kindergarten, totaling 26 children, including 15 boys and 11 girls. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's activity at meeting 1 obtained a score of 16 "Good" criteria increasing at each meeting until reaching a score of 20 with the"Very Good" criteria. Children's activity at meeting 1 reached 46% of the "Quite Active" criteria increasing at each meeting until at the last meeting it reached 88% of the "Very Active" criteria. The learning motivation of children in meeting 1 obtained 42% of the criteria "Less Motivated" increasing at each meeting until the last meeting reached 92% of the criteria "Very Motivated". The results of the language development of children in meeting 1 obtained 42% with the criteria "Not Developing (BB)" increasing at each meeting until the last meeting reached 88% with the criteria "Developing Very Well (BSB)". It is recommended for teachers to be used as one of the learning models to develop the quality of education, for other researchers it can be used as a reference for conducting research in expressing language. ABSTRAKPermasalahan pada penelitian adalah kurangnya kemampuan bahasa, serta motivasi belajar anak kelompok A di TK Mukhlisoh Barito Kuala. Hal ini disebabkan karena rendahnya kemampuan bahasa anak yang belum optimal, kurangnya keterlibatan anak secara aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga rendahnya motivasi belajar anak pada saat anak melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran anak, sehingga selalu tidak semangat dan tidak menyelesaikan dalam mengerjakan tugas. Objek dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, anak, menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar anak, dan menganalisis perkembangan bahasa anak. Pendekatan menggunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif jenis penelitian  PTK dilaksanakan 4 siklus. Subjek penelitian  yaitu anak kelompok A TK Mukhlisoh Barito Kuala sebanyak 26 orang anak, 15 laki-laki, 11 anak perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan apabila aktivitas guru pertemuan pertama mendapatkan skor 16 dengan kategori “Baik” disetiap pertemuan meningkat menjadi 20 kategori “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas anak pertemuan pertama mecapai 46% kategori “Cukup Aktif” disetiap pertemuan meningkat pada pertemuan keempat persentase 88% kategori “Sangat Aktif”. Motivasi belajar anak pertemuan 1 memperoleh 42% kriteria “Kurang Termotivasi” disetiap pertemuan meningkat pada pertemuan ke 4 menjadi 92% kategori “Sangat Termotivasi”. Perkemangan bahasa anak pertemuan 1 memperoleh 42% dengan kriteria “Belum Berkembang (BB)” disetiap pertemuan meningkat menjadi 88% dengan kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB)”. Disarankan bagi guru untuk dapat dijadikan salahsatu model dalam kegiatan belajar untuk menumbuhkan taraf pendidikan, untuk peneliti lain sebagai referensi dalam melaksanakan penelitian terutama pada perkembangan bahasa.
