Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find learning model steps that are able to develop critical thinking skills, as well as to analyze students' learning outcomes. The combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) model steps is a learning strategy that is expected to be implemented effectively. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The research stages can be broken down as follows: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model Development stage, (3) the model effectiveness analysis stage. The results of the research on the development of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model obtained an increase in students' critical thinking skills of 42.50, and learning outcomes with an average score of 86.14. Students' critical thinking gain of 0.75 is included in the high category. The conclusion from the research results is that the Problem Based Learning and HOTS models are effectively implemented in learning at SDN Kertak Hanyar, in other words can improve critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes. As a follow-up to the results of this study, a wider dissemination of the steps of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS model will be carried out to teachers at Banjar Regency elementary schools

Abstract

Indonesia consists of various tribes, races, ethnicities and religions. In this diversity, multicultural education is needed to be implemented in people's lives. To be able to tolerate each other, take responsibility and to be able to help each other among others. Not to hate each other or complain to each other. Religion is expected to be a complement and can also complement each other so that it can become strong and also close. Circumstances like this can shape the character of the Indonesian nation to be more formed. As Indonesian people, we should be able to take care of each other so that there are no disputes that can lead to conflict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai permasalahan yaitu rendahnya aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar muatan IPS peserta didik. Upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan itu yakni memakai model BAGUS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pendidik, menganalisis aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini memakai Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan dalam tiga kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas IV. Diperolehnya data kualitatif yaitu dari observasi aktivitas pendidik, aktivitas peserta didik, keterampilan berpikir kritis serta data kuantitatif dari hasil belajar peserta didik dengan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga pada pertemuan ketiga aktivitas pendidik mencapai skor 31 yang kriterianya “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas peserta didik dicapai ketuntasan klasikal 92% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dicapai ketuntasan klasikal 85% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 92% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diberikan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model BAGUS bisa meningkatkannya aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

MTs Negeri 2 Balikpapan is a school that plays an important role in learning Aqidah Akhlak which has included in the school's mission, namely "instilling faith, piety and noble character through religious practice". Education can be said as a series of learning processes to become human beings who continue to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. The aim of the study was to determine the teacher's strategies for Aqidah Akhlak at MTs Negeri 2 Balikapapan. This type of research is qualitative research. Sources of data are school principals, deputy heads of curriculum, Aqidah Akhlak teachers and students of MTs Negeri 2 Balikpapan with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity technique in this study uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's strategy in learning Aqidah Akhlak at MTs Negeri 2 Balikpapan is in compiling the teaching stages of the teacher compiling learning objectives by including all domains of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, basic competencies and indicators that have been prepared by the teacher is to determine operational verbs that can be observed and measured. The media/tool ​​used by the teacher is PPT, the learning video of this media is in accordance with the learning objectives to be achieved while the learning resources compiled are books, the internet and the environment using this adds broad and deep student insight. The evaluation compiled is an authentic assessment assessment. The learning model uses a discovery learning model and a problem based learning model.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to determine the internalization of character education values ​​in the formation of Islamic personality at Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda and to determine the factors that influence the internalization of character education values ​​at Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda. In collecting data, the author used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the author used qualitative methods with data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions (verification). From the research results, it is known that the internalization of character education values ​​in the formation of Islamic personality at Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda with the stages of implementing the character education values ​​strategy starts from the first step, namely Morals. Understanding, Moral Feeling or Moral Love, Moral Action or Moral Action. The factors that influence the internalization of Character Education Values ​​are caused by: 1) educational factors (teachers) using methods in teaching and learning that are quite appropriate and quite varied, and 3) environmental factors that are quite supportive, namely parents who motivate children enough so that they will arouse students' interest in character education. Keywords: Character education, Islamic Personality, Values Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk kepribadian islami di Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda. Adapun pengumpulan data,lpenulis menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancaraldan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, danlpenarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam membentuk Kepribadian Islami di Madrasah Aliyah Al Arsyadi Samarinda dengan tahapan strategi implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dimulai dari langkah pertama yaitu Moral Knowing, Moral Feeling atau Moral Loving, Moral Doing atau Moral Action. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter yaitu disebabkan oleh: 1) faktor pendidik (guru) penggunaan metode dalam belajar mengajar yang cukup sesuai dan cukup bervariasi, dan 3) faktor lingkungan yang cukup mendukung, yaitu orang tua yang cukup memotivasi terhadap anaknya sehingga akan menimbulkan minat murid terhadap pendidikan karakter. Abstract

This research aims to increase children's achievements in getting to know livestock through Canva videos at Ra Almannan Bagik Nyaka, East Lombok Regency.  Researchers used classroom action research (PTK) with a chemical model with stages, planning, implementation, observation, reflection which are descriptive statistics by explaining each percentage obtained at each session. The subjects in this study were group A with 13 children in Ra Almannan Bagik Nyaka. The research results showed that the percentage in cycle one was 39% and in cycle two it was 77% which was declared successful with a KKM value of 75%.

Abstract

Diabetes tipe 2 merupakan diabetes yang ditandai dengan resistensinya tubuh terhadap insulin dan kurangnya tubuh dalam memproduksi insulin. Resistensi insulin merupakan respon biologis yang tidak normal terhadap insulin, sehingga kemampuan insulin berkurang yang mengakibatkan gangguan dalam penyerapan glukosa. Tujuan deteksi dini kaki diabetes melitus memberikan pengalaman dan pengetahuan pada Kader PTM sebagai upaya pencegahan kaki diabetes melitus. Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Pelatihan deteksi dini kaki diabetes dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Melur, Pekanbaru. Kegiatan dilaksankan bulan Maret – Juni 2023. Khalayak sasaran adalah Kader PTM. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan terhadap Kader PTM tentang Diabetes Melitus, Kaki Diabetes Melitus, dan Deteksi dini kaki Diabetes Melitus, dengan teknik pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap I: sharing materi 1 kali pertemuan kepada Kader PTM dan tahap II berupa kegiatan pelatihan kepada Kader PTM yang terdiri dari pemberian pengetahuan dan simulasi keterampilan 2 kali pertemuan. Dampak yang dihasilkan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kader PTM tentang senam kaki dengan melihat skor pengetahuan tentang kaki diabetes adanya peningkatan sebesar 31,4 point dan meningkatnya keterampilan kader PTM yang semual tidak terampilmenjadi terampil dalam deteksi dini kaki diabetes melitus. Kader PTM sudah mampu melakukan deteksi dini kaki diabetes melitus dan mempraktekkan kepada penderita DM. Keluarga dan Penderita DM harus ikut andil dalam memberikan dukungan secara berkelanjutan dan terus menerus pada penderita DM dalam melakukan deteksi dini kaki DM sebagai bentuk upaya pencegahan komplikasi kaki diabetes melitus yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita DM.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the School Committee in supporting the improvement of education quality at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Kautsar Medan. In the context of Indonesian education, the role of the School Committee as an important partner in school management is increasingly recognized for its significance. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the School Committee plays a strategic role in curriculum development, facility management, and human resource empowerment at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Kautsar Medan. However, there are still several challenges in the implementation of the School Committee's role, such as the lack of active involvement from School Committee members and resource limitations. Therefore, this study also identifies several recommendations to strengthen the role of the School Committee in supporting the improvement of education quality at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Kautsar Medan, including increasing the involvement of School Committee members, improving coordination between the School Committee and the school, and providing training and support to School Committee members. It is hoped that the results of this study can contribute positively to the development of strategies and policies to enhance the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Kautsar Medan and other educational institutions.

Abstract

Stereotip negatif dan perlakuan tidak adil masih menjadi suatu yang jamak terjadi. Pada umumya, perempuan dianggap sebagai kelas kedua dan menjadi pelengkap bagi figur laki-laki. Akibatnya terjadi pembatasan peran bagi perempuan agar hanya terlibat aktif pada ranah domestik. Padahal baik laki-laki atau perempuan sama-sama memiliki hak dalam aktivitas politik, budaya, pendidikan, dan sebagainya. Pandangan dan perlakuan ini harus dirubah karena tidak sesuai dengan semangat agama Islam yang memandang laki-laki dan perempuan dengan penuh penghargaan. Usaha ini harus dilakukan sejak usia kanak-kanak. Oleh karena itu para guru Sekolah Dasar perlu memahami kesetaraan gender, kemudian membiasakannya kepada para siswanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan, sehingga pada prosesnya memanfaatkan secara maksimal data-data dan informasi kepustakaan dari buku dan jurnal berkenaan dengan tema ini. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa menjadi sangat penting bagi guru Sekolah Dasar untuk memahamkan kesetaraan gender sejak usia kanak-kanak. Ini dilakukan karena perspektif dan sikap seseorang adalah hasil dari pengalaman masa kanak-kanaknya. Pembiasaan kepada anak-anak untuk menerima perbedaan, kekurangan, dan kelebihan masing-masing baik anak laki-laki maupun perempuan menjadikannya lebih ramah, mudah menerima perbedaan, menghargai peran rekannya, dan sebagainya. Selain itu, anak menjadi lebih mudah untuk membangun sinergi antar sesamanya. Penerimaan terhadap kesetaraan gender sangat berguna bagi pembangunan, karena sinergitas dan penghargaan menjadi lebih mudah terbangun.  Negative stereotypes and unfair treatment are still commonplace. In general, women are considered as second class and a complement to male figures. As a result, there is a role restriction for women so that they are only actively involved in the domestic sphere. Even though both men and women have equal rights in political activities, culture, education, and so on. This view and treatment must be changed because it is not in accordance with the spirit of the Islamic religion which views men and women with great respect. This effort must be done since childhood. Therefore, elementary school teachers need to understand gender equality, then familiarize their students with it. This research is library research, so that in the process it makes maximum use of the data and information from books and journals related to this theme. The results show that it is very important for elementary school teachers to understand gender equality from a young age. This is done because a person's perspective and attitude are the result of his or her childhood experiences. Accustoming children to accept the differences, weaknesses, and strengths of each, both boys and girls, makes them more friendly, easy to accept differences, respect the role of colleagues, and so on. In addition, it becomes easier for children to build synergy among themselves. Acceptance of gender equality is very useful for development because it is easier to build synergy and appreciation.

Abstract

Maman (Cleome gynandra L) is one of the plants that is often consumed by people in Riau Province, especially in Rokan Hulu and Rokan Hilir Regencies. Maman is usually consumed in a fermented form called joruk maman. The nutritional value content of a food ingredient can be known through several analyses, one of which is proximate analysis. Based on the background stated above, it is necessary to conduct research to determine the nutritional content of protein, fat, fiber, carbohydrates, water content and ash content of maman plants, fresh and dried (simplesia), and Joruk Maman. The types and methods used in this research are experimental research and quantitative descriptive methods. The results of proximate analysis on three samples showed that the highest levels of protein in maman powder (30.08%), fat content in joruk maman (2.95%), water content in joruk maman (92.06%), carbohydrate content in maman powder (26.9727%), ash content in maman powder (17.75%), and fiber content in maman powder (7.84%).
