Abstract

Introduction: In a hospital service, there must be a superior service that can be used as a weapon in capturing patients in carrying out treatment through doctor referrals, in this case the presence of CBCT services. Word of Mouth (WOM) occurs when customers talk to others about their opinion about a particular brand, product, service or company to others. There are several factors that are believed to increase the desire of a referring dentist to do word of mouth, including the quality of the CBCT product itself, loyalty and the level of trust of a dentist as a consumer. Objective: The study aimed to examine the relationship between product quality, customer trust, and customer loyalty with word of mouth on CBCT services. Method: The descriptive study was undergone with cross-sectional approach. A total of 134 dentists as were selected using the systematic random sampling. The linear regression was used to analyze the data to test between the dependent and independent variables. Results: The findings showed that there are significantly associated between the product quality, customer trust, and customer loyalty to word of mouth of customer for using the CBCT services. Recommendation: Further researchers need to develop path analysis or SEM methods to predict the word of mouth of customer for using the CBCT services

Abstract

The decrease upon return visits in hospital becomes an indicator of patient loyalty. Thus, in this study aimed to obtain correlation on value perception, word of mouth, price and trust towards patient loyalty at Proklamasi hospital, Jakarta. The several variables such as value perception, word of mouth, price, trust and loyalty are performed in this study. The population of this study taken from ongoing patients at Proklamasi hospital, Jakarta. In addition, the samples observation of this research are 200 respondents using Hair method. This study also uses a cross-sectional study design to obtain correlation between dependent and independent variables with. path analysis test. The results show a determinant value of covariance matrix can be achieved. Around 1208.180 (positive results and greater than 0.000). thus, in this study we find that no multicollinearity while, the measurement model test by using Chi-square method is 0,000 (the value is small so that the simultaneous test is accepted). In addition, if the degree of freedom is 0 it’s indicates that the first hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Thus, the positive correlation on value perception, word of mouth, and trust towards patient loyalty. On the contrary, price has no effect on patient loyalty. Furthermore, word of mouth has the greatest influential value of all. Value perception, word of mouth, and price can directly increase patient loyalty without being influenced by trust.

Abstract

Background: Type 2 Diabetes mellitus becomes the public health problem worldwide. Reasons for poor glycemic control in Type 2 diabetes are complex. Objectives: To determine factors contributed to poor glycemic control among Indonesian patients with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus. Methods: This was a cross sectional regression study. There were 70 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Pre-structured questionnaires were used to measure socio demographic, clinical characteristics, self-care management behaviors, medication adherence, barriers to adherence, and family support. Data were analyzed using chi-square and binary logistic regression. Results: Poor glycemic control was defined as HbA1c ≥7% or FBG ≥200 mg/dl. Findings of this study reported that 83% patients had or FBG ≥200 mg/dl, which confirmed as poor glycemic control. Logistic regression showed that increasing duration of diabetes (> 5 years), non-adherence to dietary behaviors recommendation through selecting healthy diet, arranging a meal plan, recognizing the amount calorie needs, managing dietary behaviors challenges, medication adherence, and family support were significantly influence poor glycemic control with increased odds ratio scores. Conclusion: The proportion of patients with poor glycemic control was raised. Increasing duration of diabetes, non- adherence to medication and dietary behaviors management, and lack of family support were associated with poor glycemic control. Thus, integration of diabetes self-management program with social support is needed to deal with patients’ need to achieve the great benefits in diabetes care.
