Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of student delinquency which is increasingly prevalent in schools, various forms of student delinquency ranging from mild delinquency such as truancy to delinquency that causes victims from other parties such as fighting, brawls, and extortion. This is the basis for the purpose of this study, namely to find out (1). How big is the level of delinquency that causes physical victims at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (2). How big is the level of delinquency that causes material victims for other people at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (3). How big is the level of social delinquency that does not cause victims from other parties at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (4). How big is the level of delinquency against one's own status at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City? The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population and sample in this study were students in class X and XI at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra, Jambi City, with a total of 82 students. using total sampling technique. To find out the accuracy and validity of this instrument, a percentage test was carried out and with the help of the SPSS 24.00 program. The results showed that the delinquent behavior of students at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra, Jambi City, was 82.37% at a high level, if you look at the data description indicators as follows (1). Delinquent behavior that causes physical casualties with a total percentage calculation of 80.69% at a high level, (2). Delinquent behavior that causes material victims to other people with a total calculation of 84.14% at a high level, (3). social delinquency that does not cause victims from other parties with a total calculation of 81.89% at a high level. (4). Student delinquency behavior on indicators of delinquency against one's own status with a total calculation of 83.78% at a high level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students whose social interaction skills are low at school and have not been maximized in social interaction in the school environment. This study aims to reveal the quality of over protective, the quality of social interaction skills and to reveal the effect of over protective on the social interaction skills of XI grade students at SMA N 9 Jambi City. The ability of social interaction is the ability of an individual to have a reciprocal relationship between individuals and individuals, groups with groups, and between individuals and groups. treatment Over protective is excessive protection that will close the opportunity for children to learn from the environment so that he does not know how to respond to environmental conditions wisely because the only one in their mind and heart is themselves. This type of research is quantitative with the survey. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire, to determine the accuracy of the instrument validity and reliability tests are carried out. While the data analysis technique used the formula C formula, normality test, linearity test, and simple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS Statistics 24 application. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 86 students. The results showed that the effect of over protective on the social interaction skills of a XI students at SMA N 9 Jambi City was at a percentage of 24.5% or 0.245 with a fairly strong classification. Thus, the higher the over protective, the lower the social interaction ability of class XI students at SMA N 9 Jambi City. Guidance and counseling teachers should pay attention and provide assistance to students who have low interaction skills to be able to grow and improve students social interaction skills.

Abstract

This study is based on the existence of student anxiety phenomena that will happen to worsen and add specific problems in the world of education where there is a wide variety of anxiety experienced by students, anxiety experienced by students in school demanding properly penetrated by teacher guidance and counseling with the relaxation technique can reduce anxiety. The purpose of this study is to know the number of student anxiety condition of IX E grade in SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City before the group counseling service with relaxation techniques, knowing the steps of counseling group with relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety in the class IX E Student in SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City, knowing the number of student anxiety class IX E SMP Negeri 19 Jambi city is not a group counseling with relaxation techniques. This type of research is research service (PTL) subject of 8 students SMP country of 19 Jambi city with gender 5 women and 3 men. This study is a student who is experiencing anxiety caused by fear, anxious, thoughts too long so that it can disrupt the child's thinking skills will be afraid of not passing. This research is conducted with four cycles, each cycle consists of, planning, implementation, evaluation, reflection. To see the results of the cycle it performed with observation data collection, interview. The results of this study indicate that the anxiety of student SMP country of 19 Jambi City could be reduced by using relaxation techniques which obtained an increase of 85%. The first cycle with a percentage of 38%, obtained cycle two with a percentage of 44%, obtained a third cycle with 82% percentage, obtained a 4 cycle with a percentage of 85%. These results are expected to help teachers guidance and counseling in reducing student anxiety.

Abstract

The study is backed up by a large number of parents who are so busy with work that they do not provide learning support for their children, ata high school in the country of 4 cities, there is a high point in students' lack of learning motivation because their parents' average job is self-employed and fail to provide incentive for their children. The purpose of this study is to look at the relationship between the home guidance system and the student's motive for studying at sman 4 jambi city and the number of 81 students. The result of research on parental guidance relationships with the motivation for student studies at sman 4 cities is categorized in a moderate correlation. Abstract

One of the most important things to do in adolescence is to prepare for a future career. The fact on the ground indicates that the lack of support in career preparedness and still lack the courage to develop in that career preparedness matches our potential and abilities. The study aims to find out how the students' career preparedness factor is in the 4 cities of jambi. The method used is a quantitative method using a descriptive approach. The study is done to represent the square in its own right. The number of samples in this study is 68 student responders taken through random sampling techniques. The data-collection technique USES an angket with a cloned model with a two-pronged answer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the level of influence of peer social support in the selection of further study of students at Al-Falah Islamic High School, Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. The sample in this study was 150 students. Selection of the sample using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews while data analysis techniques used formula C, normality test, linearity test and simple regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence between the X and Y variables. This effect is evidenced by the sig.0.05 value which indicates that there is an influence between variables. In addition, it is also evidenced by the r count value of 0.327 which is interpreted as quite strong, which means that students have the influence of peer social support in selecting further studies. The results of this study are expected to have implications for guidance and counseling for students, both in the field of personal guidance and the social field.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of low social interaction among students at school, social interaction is a reciprocal relationship carried out by individuals with individuals, individuals with groups and groups with groups. Therefore the research aims to increase student social interaction by using outbound techniques to increase student social interaction in class X FASE E 5 SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City. This study aims to see a comparison of social interaction before and after being given treatment during the pretest and posttest. This type of research uses a pre-experimental design with the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 12 students who were determined using purposive sampling. By using a Likert scale questionnaire as data collection consisting of five answer options. The research results show that outbound can increase students' social interaction. Students' social interaction before being given treatment (pretest) was in the middle group with a percentage of 58%. Whereas after being given the treatment (posttest) social interaction students are in the high group with a percentage of 77%. In the results of the T-test, the value of t-count = 13.9 is obtained, while t-table = 2.228. So that when the hypothesis formula t-count> t-table is entered, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these results it can be concluded that outbound techniques can improve students' social interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how much influence smartphone addiction has on academic procrastination in class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Techniques in collecting data using a questionnaire. The population in this study were 73 students of class XI at SMP Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. The results of the study generally show that students' smartphone addiction at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi as a whole is at a high level with a percentage of 66.31%. The results of the study also showed that there was a significant effect of smartphone addiction on academic procrastination at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi, which was 0.459 or 45.9% in the moderately strong classification with a determination of 0.17 – 0.49.

Abstract

Verbal communication that is carried out by parents and children is communication that always occurs and is established, especially with the mother, from the time the child is in the womb until the child is born and develops into adulthood, the child always makes contact and talks with his mother and father. From the results of observations and interviews on Monday 18 January 2021 at the Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Singkut District, there are many students who tend to socialize in groups and often have friends they don't like to hang out with, thus making researchers feel interested in taking up this research. The type taken in this study is quantitative research, namely systematic scientific research on parts and phenomena as well as the causality of relationships. This study uses a survey method. This research is ex post facto research. The number of samples in this study is 198 samples. Based on the results of the study for parents' verbal communication questionnaire data with a sample of 189 people, an average value of 123.8360 was obtained and a standard deviation of 12.58332, the highest value obtained was 150 and the lowest was 89. For social behavior questionnaire data of students with a sample of 189 people, it was obtained the average value is 129.0317 and the standard deviation is 15.59900, the highest value obtained is 155 and the lowest is 79, for the variable Family Harmony (X) of 0.847 or it can be expressed as a linear equation Y = 29.435 + 3.230 X. In the table the values ​​for the test two parties t 0.95 = 1.612 It is easy to see that 27.8834 > 1.6612, the parental verbal communication variable influences students' social behavior. the R value is the correlation found to be 0.907 and the R square is worth 0.823 or (82.4%) this shows that the percentage of the influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y) is 82.3%, while 17.7% is influenced or clarified by other variables not included in this research model. The conclusion of this study is that parents' verbal communication with a percentage of 2.60% is in the high classification or can be said to be good. The social behavior of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Singkut District with a percentage of 83.25% is high or can be said to be good. Based on the results of the study that there is an influence of parental verbal communication on the social behavior of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Singkut District and the influence of variable X on variable Y by looking at the determination index of 0.823% or it can be interpreted as strong.
