Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the factors that support the success of learning. However, in reality, many students are still not motivated, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic, so the use of the Learning Management System application in learning can be a solution. This research aims to: (1) Describe the level of student motivation using class management based on Sevima Edlink and Google Classroom. (2) Describe the comparison of class management based on Sevima Edlink and Google Classroom. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative method. The data collection is a closed questionnaire, and the analysis technique is descriptive and inferential. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Students’ learning motivation who use class management based on Sevima Edlink and Google Classroom has similarities, which is in the medium category. (2) There is a difference in the mean range between students' learning motivation using Sevima Edlink-based classroom management and Google Classroom. Still, the difference is not significant as indicated by the value of Sig. 2 tailed of 0.109 is greater than 0.025.

Abstract

AbstractIn the last five years, the project-based learning (PjBL) model has colored the treasury of learning practices in schools and universities. This article discusses the definition, underlying theory, and elements of the PjBL model and its implications for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. A qualitative approach with a library method was chosen as the design, so that references in the form of books, journal articles, and websites that display information about PjBL, PAI, and the relationship between the two are used to be analyzed through the stages of abstraction, interpretation, and conclusion. Based on conceptual research, this article concludes that project-based learning is a learning process that is expanded with investigations and challenges to stimulate the growth and mastery of 21st century skills in students' real lives, which is based on constructivist, social constructivist, experiential, independent, and discovery-based learning theories. In an effort to maximize the performance of project-based learning, model elements such as syntax, reaction principles, social and support systems must be carried out strictly and optimally. An example of a project-based learning design in PAI learning in schools is included in this article as a development of conceptual implications.Keywords: Project Based Learning, Implications, Learning Model, Islamic Religious Education, SchoolAbstrakDalam lima tahun terakhir ini model pembelajaran berbasis projek (PjBL) telah mewarnai khazanah dalam praktik pembelajaran di persekolahan dan perguruan tinggi. Artikel ini membahas tentang definisi, teori yang melatar belakangi, dan unsur-unsur model PjBL serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kepustakaan dipilih sebagai desainnya, sehingga referensi dalam bentuk buku, artikel-artikel jurnal, serta web yang menampilkan informasi tentang PjBL, PAI, dan keterkaitan di antara keduanya digunakan untuk kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap abstraksi, interpretasi, dan disimpulkan. Berdasarkan penelusuran secara konseptual, artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan proses pembelajaran yang diperluas dengan penyelidikan dan tantangan untuk merangsang pertumbuhan dan penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 dalam kehidupan nyata siswa, yang didasari oleh teori belajar kontruktivis, konstruktivis sosial, eksperiensial, mandiri, dan berbasis penemuan. Dalam upaya memaksimalkan kinerja pembelajaran berbasis proyek, unsur-unsur model seperti sintaks, prinsip reaksi, sistem sosial dan pendukung harus dilakukan secara ketat dan optimal. Contoh rancangan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran PAI di persekolahan disertakan dalam artikel ini sebagai pengembangan implikasi konseptual. Abstract

The preparation of honesty attitude assessment instruments is essential for planning to improve student honesty. Assessment and improvement of student honesty in the educational environment are critical to forming a strong character of integrity. This study aims to develop an honesty attitude assessment instrument for junior high and high school students. This study uses a development research method with a theory development model. The instrument's development was first conducted through a theoretical study with a literature study to formulate indicators. Then, the researcher created an instrument based on these indicators, consulted with the supervising lecturer, asked for expert judgment, conducted validity and reliability tests, and conducted analysis. The study results showed four indicators of honesty: honesty, trustworthiness, keeping promises, and fairness. The instrument developed was in the form of 40 questionnaire items using a Likert scale. This instrument was tested on 103 grade 9 students at SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. The analysis showed that the instrument was valid and reliable, with an alpha coefficient of 0.8723. The practical implications of this study indicate that this instrument can be used in quasi-experimental research. Theoretically, this study can enrich the theory of measuring honesty attitudes and be the basis for further research.

Abstract

In this dynamic and digital era, millennials are often faced with challenging psychological challenges, especially the Quarter-Life Crisis. This study aims to analyze the contribution of religiosity and maturity in helping to deal with the Quarter-Life Crisis in the millennial generation. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data collection is done by literature study, then data analysis using the content analysis method. The results showed that religiosity and religious maturity can help millennials in dealing with the Quarter-Life Crisis. The form of contribution is in the form of providing a moral foundation, inner strength, peace of mind, positive attitude, and self-acceptance, as well as improving psychological well-being. Individuals with high levels of religiosity and religious maturity tend to be better able to overcome Quarter-Life Crisis because they have more ability to control their emotions. These findings provide insight into the potential role of religious values in providing mental resilience for the millennial generation in facing the challenges of early adult life transition. The practical implications of this research include the need for the development of coaching programs that integrate religious aspects to help individuals manage their journey to adulthood.

Abstract

Terwujudnya peserta didik yang memiliki Profil Pelajar Pancasila merupakan cita-cita pemerintah saat ini. Maraknya tiga dosa besar pendidikan, intoleransi, dan minimnya kedisiplinan di lingkungan peserta didik Sekolah Dasar menimbulkan ancaman disintegrasi pendidikan dasar dari dalam. Pemerintah berupaya menghadirkan pembelajaran Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui berbagai media pembelajaran, salah satunya melalui buku terbuka PAI dan Pendidikan Karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk pembahasan mengetahui Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam buku siswa Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter Kurikulum Mandiri Kelas 1-3, bagaimana integrasi materi Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam buku siswa Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter Kurikulum Mandiri Kelas 1- 3, dan urgensi buku siswa PAI dalam membangun Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif jenis Library Research dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter Kelas 1-3 SD Kurikulum Mandiri telah terintegrasi dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Dimensi Keimanan, Ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan Berpikir Kritis merupakan dimensi yang paling sering ditemukan. Sementara itu, dimensi Keberagaman Global merupakan dimensi yang paling jarang ditemukan pada buku terbuka Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter kelas 1-3 SD. Keberadaan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter kelas 1-3 SD sangat penting sebagai bekal kehidupan peserta didik dalam menghadapi masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of religious moderation of students through religious tutorials at state universities to ward off radicalism. The research method uses a sequential design of mixed method explanation. Quantitative data was collected by random sampling with a sample of 809 people. Qualitative data was conducted by interviews using purposive sampling to a number of related parties, observation records, dan documentation studies. The average score of religious moderation after participating in tutorial activities was higher than the average score of religious moderation of students before participating in religious tutorial activities. This finding is supported by the results of a significant t-test (sig. 0.000). The dimension of religious moderation that experienced the largest increase was national commitment (4.29%), followed by accommodating to local culture (3.60%), non-violence (3.37%), dan tolerance (3.12%). This increase is influenced by the internalization of values dan examples from lecturers, tutors, dan fellow students. However, most students only showed a low increase in moderation due to having had a prior understanding of religion dan the constraints of the absence of tutors during mentoring. This research emphasizes the importance of the role of religious tutorials in shaping students' religious moderation attitudes.

Abstract

Islamic education is an integral part of the national education system in Indonesia, which has a long history in its development. This research aims to comprehensively explain the development of Islamic education in Indonesia from the early arrival of Islam to the present, with a focus on the dynamics and changes in each historical period. This research uses an exploratory descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through a literature study. At the beginning of its arrival, Islam in the Archipelago spread through peaceful approaches and the integration of local values in educational and religious practices, with scholars and Sufis as the main agents of the spread of Islam. Next, the Dutch and Japanese occupations posed significant challenges to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. After Indonesia's independence, Islamic education began to gain legitimacy with various policies issued by the government. After the reform era, Islamic education continued to develop alongside the challenges of globalization and advancements in science. This research aims to guide academics, education practitioners, and policymakers in crafting an improved and more adaptable Islamic education system to meet contemporary challenges.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the process of character development through character-building initiatives, guidance programs, and the diversity of students at SMA Pribadi Bandung Bilingual School, along with the implications for Islamic Education (PAI) instruction within the institution. The main research question addressed in this study is: How are the character building programs, guidance programs, and student diversity implemented at SMA Pribadi Bandung, and how does the Islamic character building model at SMA Pribadi Bandung contribute to the development of a golden generation? The research method employed is qualitative with a best-practice case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis followed the latest Miles and Huberman model, which includes data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The research findings indicate that the character building programs, guidance programs, and student diversity at SMA Pribadi Bandung Bilingual School have been implemented excellently, comprehensively, and thoroughly. These programs are not only designed to shape the character of students but also that of teachers and staff who participate in these programs. The presence of a dedicated committee along with the character building programs significantly impacts the essence of PAI learning, making it more relevant and meaningful for students as it closely relates to their experiences and understanding of Islamic character. This study aims to act as an impetus or a benchmark for other educational institutions to prioritize character-building initiatives within their frameworks. It highlights the understanding that schools function not solely as venues for knowledge dissemination but also as critical environments for character development.

Abstract

Providing an impact or contribution in increasing student learning motivation is the aim of this research, especially in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMAN 13 Bandung through the application of a gamification model using the Kahoot application. This research was conducted as an effort to provide a contribution or solution to the problems of PAI learning in the modern era during the development of IT and student behavior. The gamification model was chosen because it was considered capable of attracting student interest and increasing interaction during learning. Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pre Test – Post Test is the method in this research. The sample consisted of 33 students from class XI-4 and data was collected through a motivation questionnaire with a Likert scale which was then analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test statistical test. This research resulted in an increase in student learning motivation after implementing the gamification model with the Kahoot application, especially in indicators of student achievement, leadership and social relationships. In conclusion, gamification with Kahoot has an influence in creating an interactive learning atmosphere and supports increasing student motivation in PAI lessons. This emphasizes the importance of innovation in teaching methods to increase student engagement and motivation. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memberikan kontribusi atau solusi terhadap problematik pembelajaran PAI di era modern di masa perkembangan IT dan perilaku siswa. Model gamifikasi dipilih karena dianggap mampu menarik minat siswa dan meningkatkan interaksi selama pembelajaran. Desain Pre-Experimental berbentuk One Group Pre Test – Post Test menjadi metode pada penelitian ini. Sampel terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas XI-4 dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner motivasi dengan skala Likert yang kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan uji statistik Paired Sample T-Test. Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan adanya peningkatan terkait motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model gamifikasi dengan aplikasi Kahoot, terutama dalam indikator prestasi, kepemimpinan, dan hubungan sosial siswa. Kesimpulannya, gamifikasi dengan Kahoot berpengaruh dalam membentuk suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan mendukung peningkatan motivasi siswa dalam pelajaran PAI. Hal ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa.

Abstract

This study underscores the importance of teaching moderation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) lectures at public universities (PU) to foster a climate of tolerance among students, countering radicalism and extremism. The primary objective is to explore student perceptions of tolerance learning within their religious courses. Employing a quantitative approach, the researchers conducted a descriptive survey involving 795 respondents, utilizing a cross-sectional design for data collection via a Likert scale questionnaire. Results revealed that a significant majority of students, 87.82%, hold a very good perception of tolerance learning in IRE lectures. Further analysis indicated that over 90% of respondents viewed the attitudes and thoughts of IRE lecturers on religious moderation positively (97.74%). Similarly, 95.37% appreciated the teaching methods and processes that enhance tolerance learning, while 93.38% positively assessed the teaching materials that promote these values. These findings indicate that tolerance learning is effectively occurring in IRE courses at PU. This research reinforces the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in internalizing tolerant values among students, ultimately contributing to the promotion of religious moderation within the educational context.
