Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in Aqidah Akhlaq instruction at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. In the digital age, challenges surrounding morality are becoming increasingly complex, necessitating innovative approaches to education. This study introduces the AI-Integrated Moral Learning Approach, which bridges the conceptual gap between technology and the internalization of affective moral values. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research utilized observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect data regarding the implementation of AI in religious education. The study participants included Aqidah Akhlaq teachers, students, and digital program administrators within the madrasah. The collected data were thematically analyzed to explore AI’s contribution to fostering a more personalized, adaptive, and morally relevant learning process. The findings indicate that AI, through various applications such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Quizizz, can enhance students’ comprehension of the material and enrich the assessment process. Although challenges related to infrastructure readiness and digital literacy persist, the use of AI has been shown to positively impact the development of students’ Islamic character. This study offers a novel approach integrating AI into moral education and provides significant contributions toward advancing more adaptive Islamic education in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid pace of globalization and digital technology, coupled with the inherent social diversity in Indonesia, increases the risk of social conflict and intolerance. In this context, conventional teaching methods in religious education often fail to deeply instill the values of religious moderation needed to navigate such a complex environment. This study will investigate and describe the development of the Think Pair Share (TPS) instructional model as a strategic tool for cultivating religious moderation values among students within the subject of Faith and Moral Education (Akidah Akhlak). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed at State Islamic High School (MAN) 1 Bandar Lampung. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with teachers of Faith and Moral studies and students, followed by thematic analysis to understand the implementation and impact of the learning model. The findings indicate that the implementation of the TPS model yields significant positive outcomes. The "Think" phase allows for individual reflection, the "Pair" phase fosters collaborative dialogue, and the "Share" phase encourages respect for diverse viewpoints. This process helps students not only understand theoretical ideas but also learn and practice the basic ideas of religious moderation, like tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), and non-violence. The model creates an interactive space where students refine their communication skills and develop an appreciation for differing perspectives. This study provides a paradigm for character building and active learning in Islamic education. It offers educators a reproducible technique to shift religious education from theoretical instruction to a transforming experience that fosters social harmony and moderate religious identification.

Abstract

This study departs from the reality of adolescents as the next generation, who are currently in a transitional phase and are highly vulnerable to the negative impacts of globalization and the advancement of digital technology. The main focus of the research is to examine the role of hadroh art as a creative medium in instilling Islamic educational values oriented toward the moral development of youth. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted at As-Sholah Mosque, Srirejosari Village, East Lampung, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation involving community leaders, mentors, and adolescents engaged in hadroh activities. The findings indicate that the internalization of Islamic educational values through hadroh is based on three aspects: faith (love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW expressed through shalawat chants), worship (religious expression and prayers to draw closer to Allah SWT), and morality (discipline, responsibility, and cooperation). The impact is clearly visible among adolescents, including increased participation in worship, more courteous social behavior, and reduced dependence on gadgets. Although challenges remain in regenerating members due to many continuing their studies outside the region, the activities persist thanks to the support of parents and the local government. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berangkat dari realitas remaja sebagai generasi penerus yang tengah berada dalam fase transisi dan cukup rentan terhadap dampak negatif arus globalisasi serta perkembangan teknologi digital. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengkaji peran kesenian hadroh sebagai media kreatif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang berorientasi pada pembentukan akhlak remaja. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Masjid As-Sholah, Desa Srirejosari, Lampung Timur, melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap tokoh masyarakat, pembina, serta remaja yang terlibat dalam kegiatan hadroh. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai pendidikan Islam melalui hadroh bertumpu pada tiga aspek: iman (kecintaan kepada Rasulullah SAW lewat syair shalawat), ibadah (syiar dan doa untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT), serta akhlak (kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama). Dampaknya terlihat nyata pada remaja, seperti meningkatnya keterlibatan ibadah, perilaku sosial yang lebih santun, dan berkurangnya ketergantungan pada handfone. Meski ada kendala regenerasi anggota karena melanjutkan pendidikan ke luar daerah, kegiatan tetap berlanjut berkat dukungan orang tua dan pemerintah setempat.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze research trends in gamification focusing on science education and explore opportunities for further development. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, a total of 126 relevant publications were identified from the Publish or Perish database indexed by Scopus, with 43 documents from the 2019–2023 period selected and analyzed based on inclusion criteria. These criteria include articles discussing gamification in science education, English-language articles, open-access publications, and Scopus-indexed articles. The literature review process followed PRISMA guidelines to ensure the quality of results, and data were analyzed using bibliometric methods with the assistance of VOSviewer 1.6.20 software. The results indicate significant fluctuations in the number of publications and citations year by year, reflecting the dynamics of research activity. Most publications originate from Spain, the United States, and Malaysia, with quantitative methods being the most widely used approach (51%). The main themes explored include student engagement, motivation, and conceptual understanding, particularly in STEM subjects. Collaborative networks highlight the importance of diverse perspectives in advancing gamification research. Density analysis reveals that the long-term impact and scalability of gamification in educational science still hold substantial potential for exploration. Therefore, further studies are urgently needed to optimize the role of gamification and maximize its benefits in the learning process.

Abstract

The limited variety of learning media used in Islamic Religious Education often makes the learning process less engaging and impacts student learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the use of interactive learning media in improving student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education at SMK 2 Mei Bandar Lampung. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students as research informants. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the use of interactive learning media can improve student learning motivation, as indicated by increased attention, active participation, and enthusiasm in learning. These findings indicate that the use of interactive learning media has positive implications for the development of more innovative and effective Islamic Religious Education learning strategies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the challenges faced by Islamic Education (PAI) students in their academic journey toward teacher professionalism, particularly regarding the phenomenon of overthinking, which often arises as a form of anxiety and self-doubt. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research explores the experiences of seven PAI students from the 2021 cohort at UIN Raden Intan Lampung through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzes them thematically to uncover the essential meaning of their experiences. The findings reveal that overthinking negatively affects productivity, emotional stability, and self-confidence, yet simultaneously serves as a medium for building resilience and mental toughness. The strategies employed by students to manage overthinking include integrating psychological and spiritual approaches, such as strengthening Islamic values and fostering a supportive academic environment. These findings affirm that Islamic higher education plays a crucial role in shaping professional PAI teachers, not only through mastery of knowledge but also through psychological and spiritual balance that supports the development of character, exemplary conduct, and readiness to face the dynamics of the educational world.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam proses akademik menuju profesionalisme guru, khususnya terkait fenomena overthinking yang kerap muncul sebagai bentuk kecemasan dan keraguan diri. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berpendekatan fenomenologi, penelitian ini menggali pengalaman tujuh mahasiswa PAI angkatan 2021 UIN Raden Intan Lampung melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis secara tematik untuk menemukan makna esensial dari pengalaman mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa overthinking berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas, kestabilan emosional, dan kepercayaan diri, namun sekaligus menjadi sarana pembentukan resiliensi dan ketangguhan mental. Strategi pengelolaan overthinking yang dilakukan mahasiswa meliputi integrasi pendekatan psikologis dan spiritual, seperti penguatan nilai-nilai Islam, serta dukungan lingkungan akademik yang kondusif. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan tinggi Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk guru PAI yang profesional, tidak hanya melalui penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga melalui keseimbangan psikologis dan spiritual yang mendukung pembentukan karakter, keteladanan, dan kesiapan menghadapi dinamika dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religious understanding and religious moderation attitudes among students of SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. The main problem underlying this study is the continued presence of students with narrow and less moderate religious understanding, which has the potential to lead to intolerance in the school environment. This study measures the extent to which the level of religious understanding influences students' religious moderation attitudes. . The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design, using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis technique to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. The study population was all students of SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung, with a sample size of 117 students selected through a purposive sampling technique according to predetermined criteria. Data were obtained through a questionnaire designed based on indicators of religious understanding and religious moderation. The research instrument was validated through internal reliability analysis using the Corrected Item-Total Correlation indicator and reliability testing using the Cronbach's Alpha method to ensure item consistency. Furthermore, prerequisite analysis tests, including normality and linearity tests, were conducted before hypothesis testing. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between religious understanding and religious moderation. The Pearson correlation test yielded an r value of 0.815 with a significance level of p < 0.01, indicating that the higher a student's religious understanding, the higher their religious moderation. Thus, the research hypothesis was accepted, proving that a sound religious understanding plays a significant role in shaping religious moderation among students at SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini mengukur sejauh mana tingkat pemahaman keagamaan berpengaruh terhadap sikap moderasi beragama siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson untuk mengetahui kekuatan dan arah hubungan kedua variabel. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung, dengan jumlah sampel 117 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator pemahaman keagamaan dan sikap moderasi beragama. Instrumen penelitian diuji melalui uji validitas menggunakan analisis reliabilitas internal dengan indikator Corrected Item-Total Correlation dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan metode Cronbach’s Alpha untuk memastikan konsistensi item pertanyaan. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linearitas sebelum pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman keagamaan dan sikap moderasi beragama. Uji korelasi Pearson menghasilkan nilai r = 0,815 dengan signifikansi p < 0,01, yang berarti semakin tinggi pemahaman keagamaan siswa maka semakin tinggi pula sikap moderasi beragamanya. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian diterima dan membuktikan bahwa pemahaman keagamaan yang baik berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap moderasi beragama di kalangan siswa SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung..

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant public health challenge in rural areas, including Desa Paguyuban. This community service aimed to address stunting by distributing soy milk and informative brochures on proper nutrition and child care. The methodology involved direct engagement with the community through door-to-door visits and group sessions to ensure wide outreach. The results indicated increased awareness among mothers regarding the importance of balanced nutrition for their children. The distribution of soy milk, rich in protein and essential nutrients, supplemented the dietary needs of children at risk of stunting. The community showed positive reception towards the program, with many participants expressing commitment to improving their children's diets. The intervention's success highlights the effectiveness of combining nutritional support with educational initiatives in stunting prevention efforts

Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems faced by many cities around the world. Indonesia is one of the developing countries that contributes the largest waste in the world. Indonesia is the second largest waste contributor with a volume of 187.2 million tons/year, with China in first place with 262.9 million tons/year. In 2003, a doctor from Thailand named Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong received an award from the FAO for the discovery of eco enzyme. The problem of waste in urban areas is a concern in activities. Around 80% of the total amount of waste produced is dominated by organic waste which is only seen as waste that has no economic value. Therefore, this program is an empowerment for housewives so that they can use organic kitchen waste that is not used to be beneficial for the environment. Community service activities were carried out in the form of socialization and training on the manufacture of eco-enzyme multipurpose liquid. Organic waste can be processed into eco enzyme which is useful as a cleaning fluid, wound medicine, and plant fertilizer. Socialization activities and training on making eco-enzyme multipurpose liquid were carried out at the Tulang Bawang Baru Village Hall, Bunga Mayang District, North Lampung, Lampung Indonesia directly by implementing strict health protocols. Socialization activities and training on making eco enzyme were attended by representatives of residents to prevent crowds. This activity aims to make the Sangkrah Village community able to utilize organic waste so that it can be utilized and even add economic value to the surrounding community. However, the target remains enthusiastic in participating in this activity.
