Abstract

Adolescence is a period of “storm and stress”, a time when emotional tension increases due to physical and glandular changes that make adolescents very sensitive and prone to stress. Stress management is also one of the efforts to overcome dysmenorrhea because stress factors can reduce a person's pain resistance. This study aims to determine the effect of stress on the incidence of dysmenorrhea. This study was an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional approach. The study population was seventh and eighth grade students of Junior High School Ngariboyo, totaling 179 female students. Sampling using the Slovin sample size formula, samples were taken using simple random sampling technique with a minimum sample size of 124 female students. The independent variable was stress, while the dependent variable was dysmenorrhea. Data were collected using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42) questionnaire, and the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Data were processed and analyzed using Ordinal Regression test. The results showed that there were 49 female students who had moderate stress and 53 female students who experienced moderate dysmenorrhea pain. The results of the Ordinal Regression test showed the effect of stress on the occurance of dysmenorrhea p-value = 0.017. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between stress and the incidence of dysmenorrhea in seventh and eighth grade students of Junior High School Ngariboyo. It is expected that female students can increase their knowledge in managing themselves early on in stress management towards the occurance of dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Ngelang Village in Kartoharjo District, Magetan Regency, has been designated a Disaster Resilient Village (Destana). However, its capacity to handle health crises remains limited, marked by weak coordination, the absence of an emergency command structure, and minimal training and simulation. The community service activity employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach and involved 34 participants. Needs identification resulted in four priorities: establishing a command structure, developing a contingency plan, updating health vulnerability data, and creating a risk and vulnerability map. Intensive training was conducted over four days, totaling 30 training hours (JPL). The average pre-test score of 77.07 increased to 86.4 in the post-test, but decreased to 81.03 after one month, indicating challenges in knowledge retention. Participation was high, with over 59% of responses in the excellent category. Weaknesses were still evident in discussion engagement and problem-identification skills. Reflection showed that material understanding and practical skills were in the moderate category, while engagement was relatively high. The PAR intervention was effective in increasing knowledge and participation; however, the sustainability of the results requires strengthening retention strategies. Active participant involvement is crucial, but improvements are needed in discussion and problem analysis. The village government is committed to allocating the village budget (APBDes) for evacuation facilities, outreach, and regular simulations. The Destana Forum has agreed to make the training a regular biennial program and establish collaborations with health and disaster management agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of administrative innovations in the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PIS-PK) and its impact on program effectiveness and family participation. The research method used a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation of PIS-PK administration in four community health centers. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, coding, comparisons between community health centers, and triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results showed that administrative innovations included digitizing family data, standardizing health forms and indicators, digital data-based monitoring, family education and participation, and cross-stakeholder coordination. The implementation of these innovations increased the accuracy and efficiency of data collection, accelerated reporting, facilitated the identification of priority families, and encouraged active family involvement. The main challenges included limited human resources, infrastructure, and community adaptation to the digital system. However, strategies such as routine training, portable hotspots, and cadre mentoring were able to overcome these challenges. This study provides an important contribution to the development of standardized and integrated data-based family health service administration and environmental health management.

Abstract

The development of the health sector, as part of national development, is directed toward improving the quality of human resources. One of the indicators of successful health development is the reduction of infant mortality rates and the improvement of community nutritional status. Optimal nutritional status can only be achieved when good nutritional practices are implemented at every stage of life, including during infancy . Failures in breastfeeding often stem from a lack of information. The study by Ambarwati, Setiyani, and Usnawati (2017) indicates that breastfeeding discussion classes can improve breastfeeding practices among breastfeeding mothers (Ambarwati, Setiyani, and Usnawati, 2017). Parents’ Education has also been shown to be effective in improving the knowledge and attitudes of primigravida couples regarding exclusive breastfeeding. Efforts to enhance knowledge and attitudes toward exclusive breastfeeding must be continuously strengthened and followed by an evaluation of exclusive breastfeeding practices (Usnawati, 2017). Based on these findings, it is necessary to establish a Breastfeeding Support Group (KP-ASI) and implement breastfeeding assistance programs. The establishment of KP-ASI and the breastfeeding assistance program will be carried out through the following strategies: Phase 1: Issuance of an official request letter from Sumberdodol Village for the formation of a breastfeeding support group. Educational materials will be provided to third-trimester pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Phase 2: Delivery of educational materials to Posyandu cadres, third-trimester pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. The training session will be conducted once. The education session in the village is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Phase 3: Developing a meeting plan and activity schedule for the members and committee of the Breastfeeding Support Group (KP-ASI) for the following month.
