Abstract

Development of Canva-Based SUKA SASA Interactive Multimedia to Improve Elementary School Early Reading and Numeracy Skills. Technological developments encourage innovations in learning media that can facilitate the delivery of material and create more engaging learning experiences. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of teachers’ and students’ needs, as well as to test the feasibility and effectiveness of Canva-based SUKA SASA interactive multimedia in improving the early reading and numeracy skills of first-grade elementary school students. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The study involved 65 first-grade elementary school students in Karanganyar Regency selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and learning outcome tests on early reading and foundational numeracy skills. The data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics and inferential testing, and were also supported by qualitative analysis. The findings show that the developed Canva-based SUKA SASA multimedia is valid, feasible, and effective in improving both early reading and foundational numeracy skills. The media's feasibility was supported by expert assessments: media experts (80.60%), material experts (95.40%), practitioner experts (95.40%), and positive student responses (84.38%), all of which indicate that the media is classified as very feasible. The effectiveness test yielded a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in learning outcomes after using the media. The effect size test result was 1.39, showing a strong impact. Therefore, Canva-based SUKA SASA interactive multimedia is effective in supporting first-grade students' literacy and foundational numeracy skills. The integration of visual and interactive technology, such as Canva, can be an innovative strategy in fostering active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning. Keywords: early reading skills, foundational numeracy skills, interactive multimedia, addie, elementary school.

Abstract

Based on the results of initial interviews and observations, it was found that several students still experienced difficulties in writing procedural texts effectively. These difficulties included a lack of understanding of the structure and characteristics of procedural texts, challenges in expressing ideas in written form, limited ability to compose coherent and communicative sentences, and the use of monotonous learning models that failed to stimulate student motivation. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on the Tri N approach (Niteni, Niroke, and Nambahake) to improve the procedural text writing skills of fourth-grade students at Sidomukti Elementary School, Ambal Sub-district, Kebumen Regency, as well as to identify the improvement in writing skills after its application. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the application of the PjBL model integrated with Tri N values significantly improved students’ ability to write procedural texts. The learning process was carried out through six main stages of PjBL: formulating essential questions, planning projects, creating schedules, monitoring student activities, testing results, and evaluating learning experiences. The integration with Tri N principles encouraged students to understand, imitate, and develop their writing skills gradually. Thus, the PjBL model based on Tri N proved effective in helping students overcome writing difficulties while also fostering creativity, independence, and active participation in the learning process.

Abstract

The  development of digital technology opens up great opportunities in the transformation of mathematics learning, especially in improving students' mathematical literacy. This study aims to develop a Wordwall-based e-module integrated with the FICAS (Flipped Classroom–Advocacy Sosiograph) learning model that is valid, useful, and can help junior high school students become more independent and more mathematically literate learners. The development study of the design research type, which includes the analysis, design, expert validation, limited trials, and assessment phases, is the methodology used. Teachers need to understand the use of technology in learning, especially through wordwall-based e-modules. The technique analysis used is T test analysis to compare the use of wordwall-based e-modules.   The findings of this study reveal that the Wordwall-based e-module is able to optimize the flipped classroom approach interactively, improve conceptual understanding, student interest in mathematics learning, and encourage mathematical literacy skills more meaningfully. These findings indicate that the integration of digital media and innovative learning models has significant potential in supporting 21st-century mathematics learning.

Abstract

Bahan ajar adalah salah satu alat pembelajaran yang penting untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Oleh karena itu, alat ini harus dirancang dengan lebih baik. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE dan Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall, dengan instrumen seperti lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Wawancara, observasi, angket, dan tes adalah metode pengumpulan data. Siswa di SDN Ngabean, SDN Klumpit, dan SDN Kenteng II adalah subjek penelitian. Uji coba terbatas terdiri dari 6 siswa di SDN Ngabean, dan uji coba yang lebih besar dilakukan di SDN Klumpit dengan 15 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan di SDN Kenteng II dengan 15 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dalam penelitian pengembangan, metode analisis data menggunakan model ADDIE terdiri dari lima langkah: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar digital berbasis Tri-Nga dan sosiokultur berpotensi meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa Kelas V SD dan bahwa bahan ajar tersebut efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa Kelas V SD.

Abstract

Perkembangan masyarakat 5.0 menuntut kemampuan literasi yang baik. Kemampuan literasi yang baik bermanfaat untuk memilih, menyaring pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi yang terjadi saat ini. Kemampuan literasi murid sekolah dasar berdasarkan survei PISA masih tergolong rendah. Perlu adanya inovasi guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi murid terutama di sekolah dasar. Salah satu inovasi yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan jurnal membaca digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan jurnal membaca digital terhadap kemampuan literasi murid kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 murid SD Negeri Kalisari, Temon, Kulon Progo sebanyak 20 murid sebagai kelas kontrol dan murid kelas V SD Negeri Janten sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumrn tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus pearson correlation melalui aplikasi spss 25. Data yang terkumpul diuji normalitas, homogenitas sebagai prasyarat uji hipotesis. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji-t melalui aplikasi spss 25. Dari hasil Uji-t diperoleh nilai sig 2-tailed sebesar 0,002 dapat diinterpretasi terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi murid kelas eksperimen dengan murid kelas kontrol. Dari hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 3,256. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut nilai t hitung > t tabel untuk db 38 yaitu 2,059 untuk nilai alpha 5% dan 2,796 untuk nilai alpha 1%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan penggunaan jurnal membaca digital berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi murid kelas V SD Negeri Janten.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the need for thematic digital teaching materials based on character education, (2) to describe the results of the validity of lesson plan products and digital teaching materials by expert judgment and stakeholders, (3) to describe the results of effectiveness tests of thematic digital teaching materials based on character education . This research is qualitative and quantitative research using the development method or Research and Development (R&D). The instruments used were interviews, observation and document analysis. The research subjects were sixth grade students at SD Negeri Kemadang Tanjungsari, SD Negeri Rejosari Tanjungsari, and SD Muhammadiyah Kemadang Tanjungsari. This research methodology is based on the Borg & Gall development model (simplification of Sukmadinata). The development procedure used in this research consists of 3 stages, namely: (1) preliminary study, (2) model development, and (3) model testing. The results of this research are (1) Based on the results of interviews with students and teachers, observations and document analysis, it shows that digital teaching materials are really needed for effective and interesting learning (2) it produces 2 products, namely lesson plans and thematic teaching materials based on character education which have been validated by 1 expert judgment person and 2 stakeholders. (3) The final product of digital teaching materials is declared suitable for use.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: (1) describe the analysis of the digital teaching materials needed in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language proficiency in elementary schools; (2) describe the feasibility of digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings from experts and stakeholders; and (3) describe digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings that are efficient for improving elementary students' English competence. A new English learning tool and instructional materials were developed as part of this study. The development approach, often known as research and development (R&D), is being used in this qualitative and quantitative research. Interviews, questionnaires, and observation were the tools employed. Students in grades 5 at SDN Planjan II, SDN Planjan 1, and SDN Monggol served as the research subjects. The development model of Borg & Gall (2003: 775) served as the foundation for the research methods. The study's development process was divided into 10 stages, including research and data gathering, planning, development of the initial form of the product, initial field trials, product revision, field trials, operational product revisions, operational field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The results of this research show (1) an analysis of the need for digital teaching materials in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language competence in elementary schools is very necessary. (2) RPP and digital supplementary teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings to be used as teaching materials for extracurricular English activities in elementary schools are feasible based on validation results by 1 expert and 2 stakeholders. The average score obtained was a percentage of 88.6% from expert validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible" and a percentage of 90.36% from stakeholder validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible". (3) The final product of digital teaching materials is declared suitable for use with a sig value. (2 tailed) is <0.05, then Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted so that there is a significant influence of the use of digital teaching materials on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklusnya meliputi empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 55%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan pelaksanaan siklus II, persentase ketuntasan klasikal meningkat signifikan menjadi 95%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Think Pair Share efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dan hasil belajar matematika.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas V. Disarankan bagi para guru untuk mempertimbangkan penggunaan model ini sebagai solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa.   This study aims to improve students' activities and learning outcomes in learning grade V mathematics by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle includes four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were grade V students with data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share model could improve the quality of mathematics learning. In cycle I, the percentage of students' classical completeness reached 55%. After the improvement and implementation of cycle II, the percentage of classical completeness increased significantly to 95%. This finding shows that the Think Pair Share model is effective in increasing students' active participation and mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Think Pair Share model significantly improves the quality of mathematics learning in grade V. It is recommended that teachers consider using the Think Pair Share model to improve the quality of mathematics learning. It is recommended that teachers to consider using this model as an alternative solution in learning mathematics to overcome the low interest and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pembentukan karakter profil pelajar pancasila pada siswa SD melewati pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan adalah dengan cara mengumpulkan dokumen dan literatur sebagai sumber data. Dalam upaya pengumpulan data, dilakukan studi literatur dengan mencari sumber-sumber tertulis seperti majalah, arsip, buku, dokumen, jurnal, dan artikel yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada siswa SD melalui pembelajaran IPA. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dan berkelanjutan hingga mencapai titik jenuh. Tahapan analisis data mencakup display data, reduksi data, dan verifikasi serta kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pembelajaran IPA (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) dan pembentukan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila memiliki keterkaitan dan saling mempengaruhi. Pembelajaran IPA membantu pembentukan karakteristik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Selain itu, pembelajaran IPA juga membantu siswa untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai Pancasila dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Pengembangkan media e-book Sigil yang dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan berbahasa. Pada artikel ini akan menjelaskan beberapa penemuan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan untuk pengembangan media e-book Sigil yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD. Model penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Studi lapangan yang dilakukan adalah mencari informasi tentang kebutuhan pengembangan sumber belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar pengembangan media e-book Sigil yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa pada siswa kelas IV SD untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan berbahasa pada siswa. E-book lebih dipilih daripada buku cetak dengan alasan lebih praktis dan ekonomis sehingga dapat menarik minat siswa terhadap bacaan serta dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa. Nilai-nilai karakter dapat disisipkan dalam media e-book Sigil tersebut.
