Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of food inflation, per capita income, and consumer spending on food security in four ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, during the period 2013 to 2022. Using a quantitative approach with panel regression analysis, this study processed secondary data from various official sources, such as FAO, World Bank, and the Economist Intelligence Unit. The results of the study showed that independent variables, namely food inflation, per capita income and consumer spending, were able to explain the dependent variable, namely food security by 74%, while the remaining 25.3% was explained by other variables outside the model. This research provides important implications for policymakers in ASEAN countries in formulating strategies that can stabilize food prices, improve economic welfare, and optimize food distribution and accessibility to achieve more sustainable food security in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchase decision of environmentally friendly products through a comprehensive theoretical approach. Using the PRISMA 2020-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines ten major relevant journals in the 2020–2024 period. The results show that individual factors such as environmental knowledge and awareness, as well as attitudes, play an important role in shaping purchase intentions and behaviors. On the other hand, social norms and green marketing also influence behavior through the mediation of environmental attitudes. Contextual factors such as the credibility of eco-labels and ease of access to products are moderators in the relationship between intentions and actual behaviors. This study concludes that the integration of individual, social, and contextual factors is essential to understand the complexity of eco-friendly product purchasing decisions. The implications of the research include strategic recommendations for companies and policymakers to encourage the adoption of sustainable consumption.

Abstract

This study examines the role of ethical leadership in the innovative performance of employees in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). Furthermore, the purpose of the study is to investigate the mediating effects of human capital and social capital on the relationship between ethical leadership and employees’ innovative performance in the tourism sector of BUMDes in Indonesia. Primary data were collected from managerial-level employees of tourism-based BUMDes in Indonesia. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was employed to analyze the data and to identify both direct and indirect effects. The findings reveal a significant positive impact of ethical leadership on the innovative performance of BUMDes employees. In addition, ethical leadership was found to have both direct and indirect effects on innovative performance, with the indirect effect being mediated by intellectual capital (IC). The study highlights that IC and ethical leadership are critical resources in fostering a knowledge-driven culture and enhancing innovative performance among employees of BUMDes in the tourism sector. This research represents a novel attempt to explore the nexus between ethical leadership, IC, and innovative performance in the context of BUMDes in Indonesia. Moreover, it offers practical strategies for BUMDes managers to optimize business processes and promote innovative practices among employees, particularly within the rural tourism sector.

Abstract

Global sustainability issues require organizations to carry out strategic transformation by balancing profit, people, and planet aspects. In this context, green leadership is present as a leadership style that combines environmental orientation with management practices to support green innovation, sustainable performance, and environmentally oriented human resource management. This research aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of green leadership research, identify trends, research gaps, and the direction of future academic collaboration. The research method uses a quantitative approach through bibliometric analysis with secondary data from the Scopus database using the keyword "green leadership". After the selection process based on the PRISMA framework, a total of 85 articles for the period 1993–2024 were analyzed using the VOSviewer software to map publication trends, affiliations, countries of origin of publications, scientific fields, and keyword relatedness. The results show that publications on green leadership have increased significantly, especially in the 2023–2024 period, with the dominance of the fields of management, social sciences, and environmental sciences. The keywords that are most often associated are sustainability, green innovation, corporate social responsibility, and green human resource management. This research shows that green leadership is increasingly relevant to answer global sustainability challenges. In the future, these findings can encourage the integration of green leadership in organizational policies, strengthen green HRM practices, and implement sustainable innovation in various industry sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of e-learning on Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) within corporate environments through a theoretical literature review. The research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing 20 peer-reviewed journal articles sourced from databases such as Publish or Perish and Mendeley. Of these, 11 studies utilized quantitative methods while the rest applied qualitative approaches. The articles were selected using non-probability sampling techniques, including random and snowball sampling, focusing on keywords such as e-learning, digital learning, and training. VOS viewer was used for bibliometric analysis and visualization of research trends related to e-learning. The findings reveal that e-learning has developed significantly and is closely associated with key factors such as digital learning, learning motivation, learning effectiveness, and employee performance. E-learning platforms have shown to not only improve knowledge transfer and training efficiency but also encourage innovative behaviors among employees by enhancing flexibility, collaboration, and engagement. Visualization analysis showed a growing trend in research related to e-learning and innovation, with several research areas still underexplored, particularly regarding how digital learning influences the generation and implementation of new ideas at work. This study concludes that e-learning serves as a strategic tool for developing innovative work behavior, contributing both to organizational performance and to the advancement of knowledge in human resource management and educational technology.

Abstract

Employee loyalty is a central issue in sustaining service quality and organizational stability in the public sector. In Indonesia, the urgency of this issue is reflected in the 2024 Bureaucratic Reform Report of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (ORI), which recorded a loyalty score of only 73%, below the 80% target, along with rising turnover among Non-Civil Servant employees. Existing studies indicate that loyalty is shaped by multiple organizational factors, yet most research remains fragmented or private-sector oriented, leaving a gap in comprehensive understanding within public institutions. This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review to synthesize empirical findings on the relationship between work environment, incentives, job satisfaction, and employee loyalty in the public sector. Following the PRISMA framework, peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2024 were identified through databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. The review is designed to map research trends, assess methodological approaches, and identify consistent patterns of relationships across the four variables. The contribution of this study lies in building a solid theoretical foundation for developing an empirical model of public sector loyalty. The results are expected to enrich theoretical discourse, provide evidence-based directions for human resource management practices, and identify gaps to guide future research agendas.

Abstract

This community service program aims to foster entrepreneurial intention among students of Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School in Waru Jaya Village, Parung, Bogor, through intensive training on the use of Business Model Canvas (BMC). Despite the increasing number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, the country’s entrepreneurship ratio remains relatively low compared to neighboring Southeast Asian countries. This gap is evident within pesantren communities, which possess considerable economic potential but face challenges such as limited understanding of business planning tools, insufficient business management skills, and ineffective dissemination methods. The program addressed these challenges through a structured series of activities, including conceptual training, interactive workshops, mentoring by business practitioners, and dissemination of digital learning materials. The results demonstrated a significant increase in participants’ understanding and ability to apply the nine components of the BMC in real-world business contexts. Post-training assessments showed improved entrepreneurial confidence and intention among students. The initiative also encouraged collaborative action within the pesantren, including the formation of student entrepreneur groups and plans for sustainable business incubation. Overall, this program contributes to the development of a community-based entrepreneurial ecosystem and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting quality education and reducing poverty through entrepreneurship education.
