Abstract

Public information disclosure constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for democratic, transparent, and accountable governance. Although Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure provides a strong legal foundation, existing transparency practices in Indonesia remain predominantly administrative and insufficiently integrated with organisational performance governance. Previous studies have largely focused on regulatory compliance and implementation mechanisms, while limited attention has been given to positioning transparency as a data-driven governance system supported by digital technology. Responding to this gap, this study examines the relevance and implementation strategies of SMART Transparency based on the principles of Specific, Measurable, Accessible, Relevant, and Timely as an integrative model of public information governance supported by information technology and artificial intelligence (AI). This research employs a qualitative literature review analysing regulatory frameworks, institutional reports, and national and international scholarly publications published between 2015 and 2025 using thematic analysis. The findings demonstrate that SMART Transparency enables the transformation of public information disclosure from procedural openness into performance-based governance through digital service integration, AI-assisted monitoring and dispute resolution, and strengthened public literacy and electoral oversight. Theoretically, this study contributes by reconceptualising transparency as a measurable governance framework integrating accountability, digital governance, and adaptive public management in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of food inflation, per capita income, and consumer spending on food security in four ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, during the period 2013 to 2022. Using a quantitative approach with panel regression analysis, this study processed secondary data from various official sources, such as FAO, World Bank, and the Economist Intelligence Unit. The results of the study showed that independent variables, namely food inflation, per capita income and consumer spending, were able to explain the dependent variable, namely food security by 74%, while the remaining 25.3% was explained by other variables outside the model. This research provides important implications for policymakers in ASEAN countries in formulating strategies that can stabilize food prices, improve economic welfare, and optimize food distribution and accessibility to achieve more sustainable food security in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchase decision of environmentally friendly products through a comprehensive theoretical approach. Using the PRISMA 2020-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines ten major relevant journals in the 2020–2024 period. The results show that individual factors such as environmental knowledge and awareness, as well as attitudes, play an important role in shaping purchase intentions and behaviors. On the other hand, social norms and green marketing also influence behavior through the mediation of environmental attitudes. Contextual factors such as the credibility of eco-labels and ease of access to products are moderators in the relationship between intentions and actual behaviors. This study concludes that the integration of individual, social, and contextual factors is essential to understand the complexity of eco-friendly product purchasing decisions. The implications of the research include strategic recommendations for companies and policymakers to encourage the adoption of sustainable consumption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price and income on contemporary coffee demand through product quality among Generation Z at convenience coffee stores in East Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who have purchased coffee at convenience coffee stores. The number of respondents in this study was 219 people, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software to test the relationships between variables in the research model. The results show that price does not have a significant direct effect on coffee demand, while income and product quality have a positive and significant effect on coffee demand at convenience coffee stores. In addition, the results also indicate that price and income have a positive and significant effect on product quality. In testing the indirect effects, it was found that product quality is able to mediate the effect of price on coffee demand and also mediate the effect of income on coffee demand. This indicates that consumers do not only consider price when purchasing coffee, but also pay attention to the quality of the product offered and their purchasing power which is influenced by their income level. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that income and product quality are important factors influencing contemporary coffee demand at convenience coffee stores, while price does not directly affect demand but plays a role through consumers’ perceptions of product quality. This study is expected to contribute to the development of economic knowledge, particularly in the field of consumer behavior, and to serve as a reference for convenience coffee store businesses in determining pricing strategies and improving product quality.
