Abstract

Abstract

The world of education and teaching in this contemporary phase cannot be separated from hegemonic relations between policy stakeholders. Policymakers who will exist in 2022-2023 are involved with Gen X, individuals born in the 1965-1980 period. In its power as a policy maker, education is directed and expected to become a concrete step like a machine that produces moral human beings. Morals in education are intended so that students can have the values of love, love each other within the limits of norms and have commendable ethics both in religious and cultural values. The problem in this research concerns contemporary issues regarding the hegemony of power over the moral educational process in the view of the philosophy of science at the ontological, epistemological and axiological levels. The aim of this research is to reveal the hegemony of power over the moral educational process in the view of the philosophy of science at the ontological, epistemological and axiological levels. The method used in this research is qualitative with a philosophy of science approach. From the perspective of the philosophy of science, the hegemony of power over moral education goes through three phases; ontological as a search for the nature of what and why of moral education; epistemological as a review of the hegemony of power towards moral education in the philosophical aspect and axiological as a review of the usefulness of aspects of the hegemony of power towards moral education. The results of the research show that there is a hegemony of rulers who have power which is marked by the symbol of the Minister of Religion as the ruler of Gen With this moral education, educators will continue to be wise and wise in their lives, because the function of Islamic education in Indonesia is to improve and teach morals to their students so that they become human beings who have moral values.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that embraces all aspects of life with complete attention, not only those related to rituals and ideological concepts but also holistically. In Islam, cleanliness and purity are both equally important, because cleanliness alone is not enough to be able to face God or worship. Until now, there are still many schools/madrasas in Indonesia that have poor sanitation quality. A healthy and conducive school environment is very much needed to create a quality learning process. The purpose of this study is to create an effective healthy madrasa service management model in the future. Curriculum related to the environment, for example, can be implemented in various ways. First, environmental education is included in the school curriculum. The syllabus and lesson plan (RPP) are examples of learning planning, and the role of teachers is very important in instilling environmental awareness. Second, the principle of character is included in extracurricular activities, such as scouts. Extracurricular activities such as scouts have a direct relationship with nature. Third, participate in activities related to the environment. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach. Qualitative research with descriptive research methods that aim to create descriptions, create pictures, paintings systematically, factually and accurately regarding data, characteristics and relationships of the phenomena studied. Data collection techniques in research: Open, structured interviews, or a combination thereof, Closed, open questionnaires, or a combination thereof. The findings obtained in this study are that a healthy and conducive school environment is very necessary in order to create a quality learning process. Providing knowledge and forming awareness about clean and healthy living behavior in the school environment will be more effective when carried out on students since they are in Madrasah Aliyah, so that it becomes a habit from an early age. By being instilled since in Islamic schools, it is also expected to become a habit when outside the school environment. The healthy madrasah program is often hampered by inadequate facilities and infrastructure, such as inadequate sanitation, dirty canteens and a culture of clean living that has not been implemented. From the results of the evaluation and observation in the madrasah, there are indications of various conditions such as the lack of attention to facilities/infrastructure, knowledge, attitudes of students in the field of health, madrasah canteens, food, personal health.

Abstract

Abstract

The main material for writing this article comes from the routine recitation of Ngaji Filsafat held at the Jendral Sudirman Mosque in Yogyakarta on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 with Dr. Fahruddin Faiz, M.Ag. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the extent of the relationship between religion and science. The relationship between religion and science is a complementary relationship. How science can only detect things that are visible to the eye, realistic, musyahadah. Meanwhile, religion, in addition to being able to detect things that are musyahadah, is also able to know the reality of the unseen. In this life, humans cannot be separated from these two things. So that's when humans don't just feel enough with science, humans need religion too. Vice versa, when humans only rely on the supernatural, humans will find it difficult to overcome the problems that occur in everyday life. As was the case in 2019 when a pandemic occurred. Then science played an important role at that time. Although not a few of the religionists who “surrender” to God's destiny. Religion and science are both fitrah, a very basic/basaliy soul urge. If there is a difference between religion and science it is because the footing is different. A scientist is open, will seek and search for new theories according to need. While religion has crowned itself as the absolute/final truth. It needs to be said that science and religion are both interpretations. Science interprets real phenomena, the reality of the universe, while religion interprets God's verses, religious texts. From this, science and religion can complement each other and there is a meeting point.

Abstract

This study examines the issue of low reading interest among students, which can negatively affect their literacy skills and behavior. If left unaddressed, this issue could lead to a generation with poor literacy abilities and a lack of moderate attitudes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes, as well as the impact of the Literacy-Based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the subject of Islamic Education (PAI) and Character Education on shaping students' moderate attitudes. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate several key points: (1) The planning process of PjBL in Islamic Education begins with setting objectives aligned with local contexts and religious values, analyzing student characteristics, adapting teaching strategies, preparing worksheets, and designing evaluation tools. (2) The implementation of PjBL in three junior high schools in Bandung involves teachers assigning project tasks, planning project steps, scheduling, and providing continuous monitoring and guidance throughout the project. (3) The evaluation of PjBL includes assessing students' ability to manage projects, the relevance of the projects to the local context, and the authenticity of the final products, which reflect the success of the PjBL implementation. (4) The literacy-based PjBL model demonstrates a significant impact on fostering students' moderate attitudes, particularly in terms of tolerance, national commitment, anti-violence, and accommodation of local culture, with varied results across the three schools. This study concludes that the Literacy-Based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Islamic Education (PAI) and Character Education effectively supports the development of moderate attitudes in religious practices among students at SMPN 18 Bandung
