Abstract

This study examines the influence of village head leadership, village apparatus competence and community participation on village fund management in Hilina'a Village, Gunungsitoli District, Gunungsitoli City. To answer the research objectives, three hypotheses were formulated, namely leadership, competence and community participation in managing village funds. The research approach used is quantitative. Data was collected using a questionnaire, of the 61 questionnaires distributed to the apparatus and the Hilina'a village community, 57 questionnaires were returned. Hypothesis testing, used regression analysis using SPSS version 22.00. Before testing the hypothesis, the validity, reliability and classical assumptions were tested first. The results of this study indicate that leadership, competence and community participation have a positive and significant effect on the management of village funds

Abstract

When it comes to meeting the requirements and desires of individuals and groups, service quality is everything that they hope for. Stated differently, service quality is primarily determined by two factors: the perceived and expected level of service. When the level of service provided satisfies expectations, it is considered to be of an ideal or good quality. On the other hand, a service's perceived quality is negatively impacted if it falls short of expectations. As a result, the ability of the service provider to continuously satisfy client expectations determines the quality of the service. People become unhappy when service delivery falls short of their expectations. If the services live up to expectations, people will be happier. The purpose of the study is to determine the degree to which community satisfaction at the Tumori Village Office, West Gunungsitoli District, Gunungsitoli City, is influenced by service quality, as well as the relationship between the two. Based on the research that has been conducted, it is concluded that service quality influences community satisfaction and shows that service quality has a positive influence on community satisfaction. The results of the research indicate that community satisfaction is positively impacted by service quality, and that service quality itself influences community contentment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of planning on employee productivity at PT. Narindo Solusi Telekomunikasi in Gunungsitoli City. Trust can be observed in situations where a partner or employee carries out their duties. This research employs a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires for data collection. The population in this study consists of the employees of PT. Narindo Solusi Telekomunikasi in Gunungsitoli City from April to September 2012. The sampling was done using a random sampling technique, setting the sample size at 50% of the 100 employees in the population. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that planning has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty (t-value = 7.014 > t-table = 2.006). The regression coefficient analysis result of 0.234, which is positive, indicates that the higher the performance planning, the higher the employee loyalty. The coefficient of determination is 0.562, meaning that 52.6% of the variance in the dependent variable (Performance Productivity) can be explained by the independent variable (Planning). Meanwhile, 47.4% of the variance in the dependent variable (Performance Productivity) is explained by other factors not examined in this study. To increase employee loyalty, the owner of PT. Narindo Solusi Telekomunikasi in Gunungsitoli City must maintain and enhance trust in employees so that the existing employees remain loyal and do not easily move to other companies.

Abstract

Several problematic phenomena have occurred at the Ilir Village Office, Gunungsitoli Sub-district, Gunungsitoli City, including the emergence of new regulations in managing the organization, which has led to employee resistance, such as changes in office hours. Additionally, the introduction of new innovations or systems in managing and executing office duties and responsibilities, as well as the implementation of new technologies intended to facilitate task execution, have also contributed to resistance. This study aims to identify the factors causing resistance within the organization at the Ilir Village Office, Gunungsitoli Sub-district, Gunungsitoli City, and to determine the efforts made to overcome this resistance. This research is qualitative in nature, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of five employees from the Ilir Village Office, selected using purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate that several factors cause resistance within the organization at the Ilir Village Office. These factors include uncertainty about changes, dissatisfaction with changes, ineffective communication, concerns about job impacts, and worries about changes in compensation. Additionally, the study identifies various efforts that can be made to address this resistance.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the positive and significant implications of the relationship between work-life balance and flexible work arrangements on employee performance at PT Mahkota Group, TB, a business entity that exists in an ever-changing and fast-paced context. In an ever-evolving world of work, a deep understanding of how work-life balance and flexible work arrangements affect employee performance is crucial for organizational survival and success. Using a quantitative approach and linear regression analysis techniques, this study found strong evidence of a positive and significant relationship between these two variables and employee performance. This research provides a solid foundation for company management to implement policies that are more adaptive and inclusive of employee needs, and strengthen their commitment to improving employee welfare. This research not only contributes to the academic understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between work-life balance, flexible work arrangements, and employee performance, but also provides practical direction for company management in achieving competitive advantage through the implementation of human resource management strategies that focus on work-life balance and optimal performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh faktor lingkungan fisik, budaya organisasi, teknologi, serta kondisi ekonomi dan politik terhadap perilaku organisasi di Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Pendapatan Daerah (BPKPD) Kabupaten Nias. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dan gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif mempengaruhi motivasi, komunikasi, dan perilaku organisasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tiga pejabat utama di BPKPD, yaitu Kepala Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Pendapatan Daerah, Kepala Bidang Perencanaan Anggaran Daerah, dan Kepala Sub Bidang Pengendalian Barang Milik Daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja yang positif dan gaya kepemimpinan yang adaptif meningkatkan motivasi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi operasional. Kondisi ekonomi dan faktor politik mempengaruhi alokasi sumber daya dan strategi operasional sehari-hari, memaksa organisasi untuk terus beradaptasi dan inovatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan faktor-faktor motivasional, teknologi, dan komunikasi yang efektif adalah kunci untuk mencapai kinerja optimal. Selain itu, responsif terhadap perubahan eksternal sangat penting untuk mempertahankan efektivitas dan efisiensi organisasi publik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ketiadaan kontrak kerja formal terhadap dinamika hubungan industrial dan kesejahteraan karyawan di PT The Semangat Baru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap empat informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Informan tersebut terdiri dari komisaris, kasir, admin, dan karyawan. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan, reduksi, dan penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiadaan kontrak kerja formal menciptakan ketidakpastian di kalangan karyawan terkait hak dan kewajiban, yang berdampak negatif pada motivasi, kepuasan kerja, dan rasa aman dalam pekerjaan. Ketidakjelasan kebijakan juga menimbulkan ketegangan, dengan karyawan merasa instruksi yang diterima sering tidak konsisten dan hanya disampaikan secara lisan tanpa dokumen tertulis. Dampak ini memperburuk kesejahteraan karyawan secara psikologis dan emosional, meningkatkan stres akibat ketidakpastian. Meskipun hubungan interpersonal tetap baik berkat budaya organisasi yang kuat, ketidakpastian tersebut berpotensi mengancam stabilitas hubungan industrial dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan kontrak kerja formal untuk meningkatkan kejelasan, konsistensi kebijakan, dan perlindungan hukum bagi perusahaan dan karyawan.

Abstract

Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Barat is an area rich in cultural diversity, religion and strong customary traditions, and is inhabited by people with diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Batak and Malay. This diversity, although a great potential, also presents challenges for sub-district government organizations, especially in managing ethnic and cultural differences that can trigger social tensions. Issues of discrimination and unequal access to economic resources and employment opportunities are also issues that require serious attention. In addition, the limited political participation of some groups threatens the balance of representation in the sub-district government. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to identify the challenges faced by the sub-district government in managing human resource diversity. The results show that appropriate strategies and policies are needed to create harmony in managing such diversity. Three main efforts that can be made by the sub-district government include: a) organizing cross-cultural training programs, b) implementing inclusive policies to ensure equal opportunities for all individuals, and c) building a monitoring and evaluation system to ensure effectiveness and transparency in managing HR diversity.

Abstract

This thesis research aims to determine and test the influence of organizational culture on employee performance at the regional public company Tirta umbu drinking water company, Nias district, using quantitative research methods and the data analysis technique used is linear regression analysis. The population in the study were employees of the regional public drinking water company Tirta umbu, Nias district, totaling 60 people and a sample of 60 respondents. The results of the t test show (calculation) that organizational culture (X) is 8,465 and the significance is 0.000. Hypothesis decision-making conditions are accepted or rejected based on their level of significance. If the significance is less than or equal to 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. The research results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that variable X (Organizational Culture) has a significant influence on variable Y (employee performance). From the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square), the coefficient of determination obtained from the correlation of variable X and variable Y is 0.553. Thus, it can be concluded that the size of the influence of variable X (Organizational Culture) on variable Y (employee performance) is 55.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan ekologi berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kabupaten Nias. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Data dikumpulkan dari tokoh masyarakat dan instansi terkait, serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi peran kearifan lokal dalam konservasi dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal memainkan peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem, melalui pembatasan penggunaan sumber daya alam pada musim-musim tertentu. Selain itu, praktik-praktik lokal tersebut juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan hasil hutan dan laut secara berkelanjutan. Pembahasan menyoroti pentingnya integrasi kearifan lokal dengan kebijakan publik untuk memastikan keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal tidak hanya efektif dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara holistik. Integrasi teknologi dan kolaborasi multi-stakeholder dapat memperkuat implementasi pengelolaan ekologi yang lebih adaptif di masa mendatang.
