Abstract

Study aims to develop the “Perisai Diri” digital comic, based on the Siri’ Na Pacce cultural values, to prevent sexual harassment among students at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 5 Makassar. Sexual harassment is any form of sexually connotative act carried out without the consent of the other party or through coercion. Therefore, there is a need for effective information service media that can deliver educational messages to both victims and potential perpetrators, incorporating strong local cultural values in an engaging format. The main focus of this study includes four aspects: (1) identifying the needs for developing the “Perisai Diri” digital comic based on Siri’ Na Pacce culture, (2) designing the prototype of the comic, (3) assessing the validity of the media, and (4) assessing the practicality of the media. The research employed a modified Borg & Gall development model, consisting of seven stages: preliminary study, initial design planning, prototype development, expert validation, product revision, limited trials, and refinement. Data were collected through questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and instruments for measuring practicality and effectiveness. The findings show that the “Perisai Diri” digital comic is considered highly necessary and relevant by students and guidance counselors. The media proved effective and practical in supporting digital guidance and counseling services. Therefore, the “Perisai Diri” digital comic is recommended as an innovative medium that can effectively address students’ needs, particularly in preventing sexual harassment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Cognitive Behavioral Counseling with Cognitive Restructuring Techniques in increasing students' confidence in public speaking at SMA Negeri 12 Luwu Timur. Specifically, this research sought to understand the overview of students' confidence before and after the intervention, as well as how the cognitive behavioral counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques was implemented. A quantitative approach with a Quasi-experimental design model and a nonequivalent control group design was used in this study. The research population consisted of 71 ninth-grade students, with a sample of 20 students divided into an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 10 students, selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using public speaking confidence scale instruments and observation guidelines, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon test. The research results indicate that at the pretest stage, the public speaking confidence level of students in both groups (experimental and control) was in the low category. However, after the intervention, the experimental group's confidence level showed a significant increase, reaching a very high category in the posttest, while the control group remained in the low category. The implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Counseling with Cognitive Restructuring Techniques was carried out through five structured stages: rational treatment, analysis of the counselee's thoughts, introduction and practice of coping thoughts (CT), shifting from negative thoughts to CT, and positive reinforcement and evaluation. Student participation during this process was recorded as high. The significant difference between the two groups indicates that the application of Cognitive Behavioral Counseling with Cognitive Restructuring Techniques is effective in increasing students' confidence in public speaking.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The phenomenon of child marriage still found in school environments indicates the importance of providing information service media to support prevention efforts effectively and sustainably. However, information services on child marriage prevention continue to face limitations in practical, engaging, and independently accessible educational media, while previous studies have primarily focused on counseling and conceptual discussions rather than developing user needs-based information media. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the needs for developing child marriage prevention information service media as the basis for designing the “True Timing” pocketbook at SMA Negeri 20 Gowa. This study employed a needs assessment approach using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The participants consisted of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers and 29 students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and Likert-scale questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that BK services had not been optimally implemented due to limited time and inadequate supporting media. BK teachers required practical and engaging media, while students needed visual media that were easy to understand and suitable for independent learning. Students’ need for information media reached 95%, indicating the importance of developing user needs-based information media to support child marriage prevention efforts in schools. ABSTRAK Fenomena pernikahan anak yang masih ditemukan di lingkungan sekolah menunjukkan pentingnya penyediaan media layanan informasi yang mampu mendukung upaya pencegahan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Namun, layanan informasi mengenai pencegahan pernikahan anak masih menghadapi keterbatasan media edukasi yang praktis, menarik, dan dapat diakses secara mandiri oleh murid, sementara penelitian sebelumnya lebih banyak berfokus pada penyuluhan dan kajian konseptual dibandingkan pengembangan media berbasis kebutuhan pengguna. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan media layanan informasi pencegahan pernikahan anak sebagai dasar perancangan buku saku “True Timing” di SMA Negeri 20 Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis kebutuhan (need assessment) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) serta 29 murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan angket skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan BK belum optimal akibat keterbatasan waktu dan minimnya media pendukung. Guru BK membutuhkan media yang praktis dan menarik, sedangkan murid membutuhkan media visual yang mudah dipahami dan dapat dipelajari mandiri. Tingkat kebutuhan murid terhadap media informasi mencapai 95%, sehingga hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan media layanan informasi berbasis kebutuhan pengguna untuk mendukung pencegahan pernikahan anak di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan perkembangan literatur mengenai nilai Sompe/Passompe, kemandirian, budaya Bugis, dan konseling multikultural indigenous. Menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik dengan data melalui Publish or Perish berbasis Google Scholar. Data diperoleh dari lima file RIS yang memuat kombinasi kata kunci terkait Sompe, Passompe, Bugis, kemandirian, kearifan lokal, konseling multikultural, dan konseling indigenous yang menghasilkan 1.022 publikasi awal yang setelah deduplikasi menjadi 1.009 publikasi unik, dengan 306 di antaranya teridentifikasi sebagai publikasi inti tematik. Analisis mencakup tren publikasi, sumber, penulis, institusi, artikel berpengaruh, kata kunci, dan keterhubungan tema. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kajian budaya Bugis, kemandirian, dan kearifan lokal relatif mapan, sementara keterkaitan langsung antara Sompe dan konseling multikultural indigenous masih terbatas. Celah ini menegaskan pentingnya mengembangkan Sompe sebagai landasan konseptual penguatan kemandirian konseli Bugis dalam praktik konseling berbasis budaya.

Abstract

Masa transisi menuju pendidikan tinggi seringkali memicu fenomena career anxiety  yang menghambat pengambilan keputusan karier siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor melatarbelakangi kecemasan karier pada seorang siswa berinisial AT kelas XII di SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus instrumental. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik triangulasi sumber melibatkan guru BK, wali kelas, serta orang tua. Analisis data mencakup reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan karier dipicu oleh interaksi antara faktor internal  berupa distorsi kognitif dan rendahnya efikasi diri, serta faktor eksternal didominasi oleh tekanan ekspektasi orang tua yang tidak selaras dengan minat pribadi serta pengaruh lingungan sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kecemasan karier bukan sekedar masalah keraguan pribadi, melainkan hasil dari tekanan sosial. Kontribusi ilmiah penelitian ini terletak pada identifikasi pola distorsi kognitif pada siswa AT, yang dapat menjadi landasan bagi guru BK untuk merancang intervensi bimbingan karier berbasis kognitif yang lebih adaptif dan berkelanjutan.
