Abstract

Potensi wilayah pesisir di Indonesia dalam aspek kualitas dan kuantitasnya sangat beragam, hal tersebut menjadi peluang dan tantangan dalam memanfaatkannya sebagai media pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Peluang dari potensi wilayah pesisir terbentuknya pemahaman tentang proses pengelolaan masyarakat pesisir yang belum optimal baik dalam perekonomian maupun pendidikan. Adapun tantangannya keberlanjutan dari pelaksanaan pengelolaan yang diperlukan dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Pangandaran bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan potensi kawasan pesisir dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Dalam mengetahui pemanfaatan potensi wilayah pesisir ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan kajian pustaka dan wawancara kepada guru sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menyajikan bahwa pembelajaran IPS di masa pandemi covid-19 ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan potensi wilayah pesisir sebagai media pembelajaran. Peserta didik dapat menggunakan media sosial sebagai informasi hasil pembelajaran dan mengoptimalkannya dengan menampilkan produk masyarakat di wilayah pesisir di Kabupaten Pangandaran.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF LEARNING METHODS ON THE QUALITY OF LEARNING HINDU-BUDDHIST AND ISLAMIC HISTORY MATERIALS IN INDONESIAThe achievement of learning objectives is one of the objectives of the learning method. In this case the learning method is used to realize the design that has been prepared. The purpose of this paper is that educators can implement several different methods in social studies learning in material about the heritage of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam in Indonesia. The method in this writing uses a literature study method, where researchers use existing books, magazines, articles, and journals that are related and relevant to the research topic taken. The results of this study are methods that can be used and improve the quality of learning in social studies learning material heritage of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam in Indonesia, namely the discussion method, simulation method, assignment method, Mind Mapping, field trip method.

Abstract

Learning media is an important component in the world of education. In its use, learning media is used to explain and convey information related to the learning being carried out. Learning media helps teachers to attract students' attention when learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of developing simple seismograph learning media on material regarding the impact of Indonesia's geographic location in elementary schools. Social studies learning in elementary schools needs to be reformed so that when presenting the material we don't just use the lecture method which results in making students bored and disengaged when learning. Therefore, the researcher created this research so that teachers can always develop something new, namely by developing learning media in the form of a seismograph that is simply designed. This research uses a descriptive method. The results of the research can be concluded that by developing a simple seismograph tool as a learning medium for social studies material in elementary schools about the impact of Indonesia's geographic location on the material samples taken, namely earthquakes. It can be stated that using and making this simple seismograph tool is able to make students involved in learning, make students' curiosity high when studying and can motivate students to learn actively. Its simple production is an added value in the development of this learning media because it is suitable for use by elementary school children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of human resources through social sciences which must be introduced to students at an early age. Of course, in introducing social sciences, teachers must use learning models so that teaching and learning activities can be achieved in accordance with learning objectives. The formulation of the problem in this research article is how a teacher conveys learning related to social sciences. Apart from that, what learning models can teachers use in teaching social sciences? The aim of this research is so that readers can understand the many learning models that can be used to increase students' understanding of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence. This research uses a qualitative research method which uses types of data in the form of results from journal literature, books and other scientific papers as references for writing research. The results of this research show that there are several learning models that educators can use in teaching and learning activities about the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the attractiveness of the school library and its impact on increasing the literacy interest of 5th-grade students at SDN Sukarasa, Cileunyi, Bandung Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, supported by literature studies. The library at SDN Sukarasa is not fully optimized, primarily due to space constraints preventing the establishment of a dedicated library room. However, schools and educators can take measures to encourage students' literacy development, such as creating classroom-based literacy spaces and utilizing technology for literacy activities. The findings suggest that while the library's current state hinders its effectiveness, alternative strategies can still foster student literacy. This study contributes to understanding how library conditions in elementary schools influence students' literacy interest and offers practical solutions for overcoming related challenges.

Abstract

Pendekatan kontekstual dan mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 diperlukan dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21. Metode penelitian dengan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu guru sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara, analisis data melalui reduksi data, display dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar sangat menyenangkan, pembelajaran IPS memberikan tantangan yang konstruktif dan membantu peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 berdasarkan kemampuannya di sekolah dasar. Guru sekolah dasar dapat menyiapkan pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

Cultivating the value of togetherness and mutual respect is an aspect of character education held in schools, in accordance with Permendikbud Number 21 of 2016 concerning Content Standards for Elementary and Secondary Education which states that core competencies and competencies in primary and secondary school education must include character education which includes attitudes spiritual, social attitudes, knowledge and skills. In this case, the integration of social studies learning into thematic learning in early grades is the main thing because social studies learning contains character values. So the purpose of this study is to foster the value of togetherness and mutual respect with students through integrated social studies learning in the student book theme 7 "Kebersamaan" for grade 2 SD, so that students with this are expected to gain insight into the differences that occur in society and can develop their social skills optimally. The source of data collection carried out in research is through library research. Literature studies are carried out by reading, understanding, studying, and reviewing a topic that is sourced from a 2nd grade elementary school student's book Theme 7 "Kebersamaan", journals, scientific articles, and so on related to the topic of the problem to be discussed. The results of this study indicate that by carrying out social studies learning integrated into thematics in elementary schools can help foster an attitude of togetherness and mutual respect in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the community development model of agribusiness through In-Gris Center, analyzing impelementasi in enhancing community development with In-Gris Center, knowing civilizing In-Gris Center as a multi-sectoral community development strategy competitive in Stone Town. With the farming community and take advantage of Agribusiness Information Center (In-Gris Center) that was established to facilitate the use of a trusted community. In this case, interpretated agribusiness community in organic farming. In impelementasi in enhancing community development with In-Gris Center that is obtained from an online source of information such as internet, newspapers, mobile phones and their applications by sending messages or short message service (SMS) or via email. In the familiarization In-Gris Center as community development strategies in competitive multi-sectoral Batu, then that should be done that is, maximize the yield of organic farming, optimal distribution, price stability, and entrepreneurship. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk menggambarkan model pengembangan masyarakat agribisnis melalui In-Gris Center, menganalisis impelementasi dalam pembangunan masyarakat meningkatkan dengan In-Gris Center, mengetahui peradaban In-Gris Center sebagai strategi multi-sektoral pengembangan masyarakat kompetitif di Stone Town. Dengan masyarakat pertanian dan mengambil keuntungan dari Pusat Informasi Agribisnis (In-Gris Center) yang didirikan untuk memfasilitasi penggunaan komunitas terpercaya. Dalam hal ini, interpretated komunitas agribisnis dalam pertanian organik. Dalam impelementasi dalam meningkatkan pengembangan masyarakat dengan In-Gris Center yang diperoleh dari sumber online informasi seperti internet, koran, ponsel dan aplikasi mereka dengan mengirimkan pesan atau layanan pesan singkat (SMS) atau melalui email. Dalam sosialisasi In-Gris Center sebagai strategi pembangunan masyarakat di kompetitif multi-sektoral Batu, maka yang harus dilakukan yaitu, memaksimalkan hasil pertanian organik, distribusi yang optimal, stabilitas harga, dan kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran media pembelajaran berbasis peta digital (Google Earth) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas V SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain quasi eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen di dua SD yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis peta digital memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep penampakan alam. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Google Earth memperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan pada rata-rata posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest. Perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam juga teridentifikasi antara siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan peta digital dengan yang tidak menggunakan. Rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen (86.04) mengungguli rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol (65.62). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Google Earth dapat efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam pada siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

This research is about the design and development of interactive multimedia to introduce types of businesses and economic activities. This research is motivated by the problem of learning media which at the moment is still fixated on teachers and books. Another problem is the lack of knowledge and ability of teachers in introducing types of businesses and economic activities and the condition of students who have a great interest in using digital technology-based learning media. Thus, this research aims to create an Interactive Multimedia as a facilitator for students in learning the material of business types and economic activities. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) research model, with Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) research procedures. This research involved experts and users. The results of the assessment from the expert's point of view for the feasibility of interactive multimedia is very feasible to be implemented in learning.
