Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran matematika yang aktif dan interaktif berbantuan media Collaboration Stick pada materi perkalian siswa kelas III SD Negeri Perak I Kecamatan Perak, Kabupaten Jombang. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa, khususnya dalam memahami konsep perkalian yang masih diajarkan secara abstrak dan monoton. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Perak I. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, validasi ahli, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Collaboration Stick layak digunakan berdasarkan uji validasi ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Implementasi model pembelajaran aktif dan interaktif berbantu media ini terbukti meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, partisipasi kelompok, serta hasil belajar matematika secara signifikan. Penggunaan Collaboration Stick juga membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian melalui kegiatan konkret, visual, dan kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran matematika menjadi lebih menyenangkan, bermakna, dan sesuai dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the demands of Society 5.0 have created both challenges and opportunities for 21st-century education in Indonesian schools. This community service activity aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of 21st-century education and strengthen their digital literacy and 4C skills through an international workshop involving collaboration between Indonesia and Malaysia. The program was implemented using a collaborative and participatory approach, including needs identification, training on 21st-century skills and digital literacy, interactive discussions, and evaluation of learning outcomes. The activity involved teachers and educational participants from Indonesia and Malaysia at MARA Junior Science College (MRSM), Malaysia. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and attitudes toward 21st-century learning. Approximately 85% of participants reported increased awareness of critical thinking skills, 80% found the materials relevant to classroom practice, 78% demonstrated better understanding of Society 5.0 literacy, and 90% felt more prepared to face technological developments. In addition, 85% of participants were more motivated to integrate technology creatively into their teaching practices. This activity is expected to contribute to the sustainable improvement of 21st-century education implementation in schools through strengthened teacher competencies, increased digital literacy, and enhanced international collaboration in education.

Abstract

The Edutechnoentrepreneurship training aims to enhance educators' and parents' digital proficiency in the innovative, interactive, and secure application of educational technology to facilitate early childhood learning. The Community Service Program commenced with a needs assessment, the creation of materials, and the formulation of practice-oriented activities. The activities took place in person at the Tambaksari Subdistrict Hall in Surabaya, utilizing Participatory Action Research (PAR) lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, facilitated by an LCD projector, a laptop, and an audio system. The training yielded substantial improvements in participants' comprehension and abilities. Educators and guardians utilized child-appropriate educational applications and created straightforward digital media, including instructional videos, interactive worksheets, and educational games, to enhance children's cognitive and linguistic development. Moreover, participants' understanding of digital safety improved, as evidenced by the adoption of parental control mechanisms and prudent screen time management. The training enhanced collaboration between schools and homes via communication on digital platforms. Participants' mindsets transitioned toward enhanced innovation, propelled by creative facilitators. Children exhibited heightened enthusiasm, confidence, and active engagement in the learning process. Despite challenges including limited devices and the necessity for continuous support, the program successfully cultivated an innovative, secure, and sustainable digital learning ecosystem.

Abstract

Indonesia’s low ranking in human resource competitiveness among ASEAN countries highlights the urgency to improve educational quality through effective teacher competency development, particularly in technology integration. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of teachers' technological competence development in improving students' learning achievement at Cita Hati schools in Surabaya using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach. The research was conducted across three school levels: elementary, junior high, and senior high, under the Cita Hati Foundation, using secondary data from 2019 to 2023. Inputs included teacher training, digital infrastructure, and technology investment, while outputs were measured by student achievement. The DEA Constant Returns to Scale (CRS) model was used, with data processed through Python. The results show that the elementary and senior high schools consistently achieved maximum efficiency (1.0), while the junior high school demonstrated inefficiency, particularly from 2021 to 2023, with scores exceeding 1.0. However, a gradual improvement in efficiency was observed toward 2023. Forecasts indicate potential efficiency improvement for junior high, though uncertainty remains. Conclusion: the study implies that strategic teacher development and targeted investment can improve educational outcomes. The findings contribute to institutional decision-making and policy formulation regarding technology-based teacher development programs.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the need for interactive and engaging learning media to help second-grade students understand the concept of whole numbers. Mathematics learning in lower grades is often delivered through conventional methods, which can make students easily bored and less motivated. The use of digital tools such as Wordwall is expected to create a more enjoyable, participatory, and student-centered learning atmosphere. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The participants were second-grade students at SD Negeri Balonggemek 1. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation by media and material experts was conducted to assess the feasibility of the developed product. The results indicated that the Wordwall-based learning media was highly feasible, with an average validation score above 90%. The practicality test showed that both teachers and students found the media easy to use and engaging, achieving an attractiveness level of 94.3%. In addition, students’ learning outcomes improved significantly after using the media, as seen from the increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test results. In conclusion, the Wordwall learning media for whole numbers material is effective for use in second-grade mathematics learning. It not only improves students’ conceptual understanding but also enhances their enthusiasm and motivation to learn actively.
