Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out: the knowledge and the attitude of community environmental sanitation in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, and the maintenance of Community- based Communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between environmental sanitation knowledge and maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between knowledge of environmental sanitation and the maintenance of Community Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate subdistrict, Makassar City. This research was a quantitative descriptive research with applying a correlational approach. The population of this research was all household users from 10 locations of communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate District, Makassar City. The sampling technique was conducted by using purposive random sampling technique. The instruments of this research used knowledge tests, attitude questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this research showed that the knowledge of environmental sanitation of user community and Communal IPAL administrators in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City is in the high category. and the knowledge are significantly related and positive direction with maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, it is influenced by education level and the socio-economic conditions are still low but if the knowledge and attitude of the community is good, then the maintenance of IPAL will also be good. Keywords: knowledge, environmental sanitation, maintenance of IPAL

Abstract

Abstract. This research is aimed to produce a Student Worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school that is valid and practical. The type of this research is research and development (R & D). The development of this student worksheet used ADDIE models. The stages of ADDIE are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate . The evaluation of this student worksheet is evaluated by two expert validators. The validity product of student worksheet based guided inquiry is obtained from expert validators with a validity score of 4,11 (valid). The practicality of the product is obtained from teachers response with a practicality score of 89.75 (very practical) and students response with a practicality score of 86.0075 (very practical). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the development of student worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school is valid and practical. Abstract

Abstract. Healthy Clean-Living Behavior (PHBS) is carried out in order to realize a healthy life so as to prevent disease. The factors that cause the lack of people to behave in a healthy clean lifestyle are caused by their socioeconomic status. The socioeconomic status intended here is the level of education, type of work and income level. The purpose of this study was to determine how the condition of the socioeconomic status of the community and the behavior of healthy clean living in the community and to find out whether there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and healthy cleanliving behavior (PHBS) of the community in Pajukukang village, Maros district. This research is a correlation study. The sample taken was selected by cluster random sampling by taking a sample of 40 respondents per village. So that the overall sample of 120 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis. The relationship between education level and income level with PHBS was tested using Spearman rank, resulting in Asymp sig value. 0,000. Whereas the relationship of work type with PHBS was tested using contingency coefficients to produce Asymp sig. 0.010. Abstract

Abstract. One of the basic needs for every human being is health. The environment is one of important factor that greatly influences human health, because the environment is a place where humans do all their activities. Every effort made by humans to avoid dangerous waste materials with the aim of improving the quality of the environment is called sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determ ine the relationship between the socio-economic conditions of the community and sanitation. The research design used in this study was a correlational research design using the Spearman Rank analysis technique for variables of education level and income level, while the analysis of the relationship between types of work and sanitation was analyzed using Cramer's contingency coefficient analysis technique. Samples taken were randomly selected by using cluster random sampling technique with a total sample of 120 samples. The results showed that as many as 97 (80%) of respondents had a low level of education ie graduating from elementary school. In the sub-variable type of work, the type of work most frequently done was fishermen with 41 respondents with a percentage of 34.16%. In the income level sub-variable, the highest percentage was 58 (48.3%) of respondents in the low income category. Based on the results of the correlation test between the socioeconomic level sub variables with sanitation, the results obtained are there is a relationship between the level of education with sanitation with a syg value of 0.010, there is a relationship between the type of work with sanitation with a syg value of 0.007, and there is a relationship between the level of income with sanitation with syg value of 0.005.Keywords: Education level, type of job, income level, sanitation.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this expostfacto survey was to describe: influence of work satisfaction on work achievement; influence of work discipline on work achievement; influence of work satisfaction and discipline of elementary school on teachers’ work achievement. Population of the research was 314 elementary schools’ teacher at Maros Regent. Sample were drawn randomly 40%. The collected data were analysed used descriptive and inferential. Results found: (1) teachers’ satisfaction was quite good and teachers’ achievement was high. (2) more satisfaction and dsicipline teachers, higher their achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengukur disiplin belajar peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. (2) mengukur motivasi belajar peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. (3) untuk menilai hasil belajar IPA peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. (4) mengetahui pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. (5) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. (6) mengetahui pengaruh disiplin belajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianex post facto yang bersifat korelasional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar dan dimulai pada awal semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik Kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar yang ada di Kecamatan Tamalate berjumlah 1.655 peserta didik dengan sampel berjumlah 166 peserta didik diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi yang terdiri dari analisis regresi linear sederhana dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Disiplin belajar peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar termasuk pada kategori tinggi. (2) Motivasi belajar peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar termasuk pada kategori tinggi. (3) Hasil belajar IPA peserta didik SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar termasuk pada kategori tinggi. (4) terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001). (5) terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001). (6) terdapat pengaruh signifikan disiplin belajar dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001).

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve the competence of science teachers in implementing problem solving strategies. This activity is carried out according to the standard of the learning process which states that learning can be carried out by scientific methods, inquiry, problem-based learning and project-based learning in all subjects. The learning process has been carried out by teachers in Takalar Regency but it still needs to be improved in its implementation. The teachers who are targeted in this service are science teachers in Takalar Regency who are members of the MGMP IPA forum. One of the routine activities that are always carried out by the MGMP is training to improve professional competence and pedagogical competence. The form of this service activity is the delivery of subject matter with lecture methods and questions and answers then carried out the process of preparing the problem solving learning then carried out the process of preparing the problem solving learning package. The product of this activity is the packaging of problem-solving learning tools that will be implemented in the classroom.

Abstract

This study is an expost-facto study that aims to examine whether there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes on public waste management in Kujau Village of Betayau subdistrict in Tana Tidung district. The independent variables in this study are knowledge and attitudes, while the dependent variable is waste management. The population of the study were all heads of families in Kujau Village of Betayau subdistrict in Tana Tidung district, while the sample was 40 people obtained by employing Accidental Sampling Technique and the correct number of samples was above thirty and below five hundred. Data collection techniques employed questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique employed descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of inferential data analysis, it is discovered that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and waste management at strong relationship level. The attitudes on waste have a positive and significant relationship on waste management at a very strong relationship level. There is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes on public waste management which is in a very strong relationship.

Abstract

This study is a development research (Research & Development) which aims to examine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Differentiation-Based Learning devices. The development process of differentiation-based learning refers to the 4-D model development model by Thiagarajan. This study was conducted at SMAN 16 Bone with 30 students of grade X MIA 1 and 2 Biology teachers as the research subjects. The research instrument employed learning device validation sheet, teachers’ response questionnaires, students’ response questionnaires, implementation observation sheets, and the test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions. Data of validity and practicality levels were collected by using questionnaires and data of the effectiveness level using the learning outcomes test. Data collection techniques consisted of non-test and test techniques. The results of the study reveal that the learning devices which include the lesson plans, LKPD, media, and THB are valid, practical, and effective in improving students' learning outcomes skills. The learning devices are in fully implemented category, the responses of teachers and students are in very practical and practical category. The learning devices are categorized as effective with the completeness of the learning outcomes test of 82.4% each.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the description of emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and science learning outcomes for students in class VIII SMPN in Benteng District, (2) The relationship between emotional intelligence and science learning outcomes for students in class VIII SMPN in Benteng Regency. Benteng Regency, (3) the relationship between learning motivation and science learning outcomes for class VIII SMPN students in Benteng Regency, (4) the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning motivation on science learning outcomes for VIII SMPN students in Benteng Regency. This research is an ex post facto research which is correlational. Sampling by means of random sampling. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. The conclusions in this study are as follows. (1) The emotional intelligence of class VIII SMP Negeri in Benteng Subdistrict, Selayar Islands Regency is in the medium qualification. Motivation to learn is in moderate to high qualifications, and student learning outcomes are in low, medium to high qualifications. (2) There is a significant influence of emotional intelligence directly on learning outcomes. (3) There is a significant effect of learning motivation directly on learning outcomes. (4) There is a significant influence between emotional intelligence and learning motivation together on learning outcome.
