Abstract

Lembar Kerja Siswa Elektronik (LKPD elektronik) berbasis pendekatan sains materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dengan tujuan menghasilkan LKPD elektronik yang memenuhi kriteria praktis. LKPD elektronik dirancang dan dikembangkan menggunakan Canva, dan Liveworksheets. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket respon peserta didik dan angket respon guru untuk menilai kepraktisan produk LKPD. Implementasi LKPD elektronik dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Bantaeng dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 3 orang guru biologi, dan 30 orang peserta didik kelas XII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kepraktisan LKPD elektronik melalui respon guru sebesar 94,17%, dan peserta didik 89,86%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD elektronik berbasis pendekatan saintifik materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan memiliki kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

This study is an expost facto research that aims to examine whether there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude on clean water management in Padaidi Village of Sebatik subdistrict in Nunukan district. The independent variables in this study were knowledge and attitude, while the dependent variable was clean water management. The population of the study were all heads of families in Padaidi Village of Sebatik subdistrict in Nunukan district spread over 4 RTs, while the sample was 87 which were taken by incidental sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique employed descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of inferential data analysis, it is obtained that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and clean water management which is in moderate category. Attitude has a positive and significant relationship with waste management at the level of strong relationship. There is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and attitude on clean water management in moderate category. The biggest effective contribution to the dependent variable (clean water management) is given by knowledge with 50% and attitude with 46%. The total effective contribution is 96%, which means knowledge and attitude collectively make an effective contribution by 96% to clean water management in Padaidi Village of Sebatik subdistrict in Nunukan diistrict, while 4% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are to discover  (i) the relation between scientific approach and learning motivation simultaneously toward students’ learning results at Public Junior High School in Maros District; (ii) the relation between scientific approach and learning results of the students at Public Junior High School in Maros District; (iii) the relation between learning motivation and learning results of the students at Public Junior High School in Maros District. The research is ex post facto in a form of multiple regression.  The data collecting techniques employed documentation and learning motivation questionnaire. The result of the research reveal (i) there is a positif and significant relation between scientific approach and learning motivation simultaneously toward students’ learning results at Public Junior High School in Maros District; (ii) there is a positif and significant relation between scientific approach and learning results of the students at Public Junior High School in Maros District; (iii) there is a positif and significant relation between  learning motivation and learning results of the students at Public Junior High School in Maros District.

Abstract

 This research is a classroom action research conducted for two cycles. The purpose of this study to increase the activity and learning outcomes of learners through the application of cooperative model of team games tournament type. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII F in the junior high school 1 Barombong Gowa district. Data collection was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Research data collected there are two activities and learning outcomes of learners. Student learning activities are collected during the learning process which is observed by two observers by using observation sheet, then the learning result data is obtained through the evaluation test which is done at the third meeting at the end of the cycle, the final test of the given cycle is a matter of multiple choice as much as 20 twenty) items. All data obtained were analyzed in two ways, namely qualitative analysis for learners 'and quantitative learning activities for learners' learning outcomes. Results of research on learning activities of students showed the average on the first cycle of 65.55%, while in the second cycle of 84.43%. Through quantitative analysis, it is known to the students' completeness category where the total percentage of learners who completed in the first cycle is 60%, while in the second cycle reaches 80%. So it can be concluded that the application of cooperative model of team tournament type of team can improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners.

Abstract

This study is an ex post facto research that aims to discover the influence of knowledge on environmental changes, receiving information, on environmental awareness and the influence of environmental changes, receiving information on environmental awareness by involving naturalistic intelligence. The study population was all students of grade XI at SMAN in East Banggae subdistrict in Majene district, namely SMAN 1 Majene, SMAN 2 Majene, and SMAN 3 Majene. The research instrument employed a test of environmental change knowledge, a questionnaire for information reception, naturalistic intelligence and environmental awareness. The results showed that, 1) environmental changes are in the very low category, information reception is in the medium category, naturalistic intelligence is in the high category.

Abstract

This research is Ex Post Facto research which aims to determine the relationship knowledge and attitudes with the local wisdom of community butterfly conservation in the Park Bantimurung Bulusarauang National Maros Regency. Sample in this research as many as 45 people who are limited to three community groups namely; businessmen trade of butterflies, hunters and craftsmen of preservation of butterflies. Research instrument The instruments used were knowledge test instruments, attitude questionnaires and local wisdom questionnaires. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 for windows. Based on hypothesis testing, the research results show that there is significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes with conservation local wisdom community butterflies in the Bantimurung National Park area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen sesungguhnya menggunakan desain factorial 2 x 2 yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 16 Bulukumba. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning dan yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning. 2) Untuk peserta didik yang memiliki aktivitas belajar tinggi, menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning dan yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning. 3) Untuk peserta didik yang memiliki aktivitas belajar rendah, menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning dan yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning. 4) Untuk menganalisis interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran dengan aktivitas belajar terhadap keterampilan komunikasi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan ANAVA dua jalur, menunjukkan (1) Keterampilan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning, (2) peserta didik yang memiliki aktivitas belajar tinggi, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning dan yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning. (3) peserta didik yang memiliki aktivitas belajar rendah, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan model discovery learning dan yang diajar menggunakan model Inquiry learning. (4) tidak terdapat interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran dengan aktivitas belajar terhadap keterampilan komunikasi.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in learning has positive potential to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process, including for evaluation purposes. The use of digital technology in learning in Indonesia has increased since the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the use of gamification-based digital technology is still limited, especially in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The use of gamification in learning can have a positive influence on creating an interesting and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students, thereby increasing interest and motivation to learn. In connection with this, this activity was carried out as an effort to increase the knowledge of teachers in Majene Regency regarding four types of gamification-based digital assessment media, namely Quizizz, Kahoot, Blooket, and Quizlet. This activity is carried out through three main stages, namely (a) presentation of material, (b) practice, and (c) discussion. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' knowledge regarding the four types of gamification-based digital assessment media that had been trained.

Abstract

The proper utilization of educational media is crucial for the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. Given the characteristics of Generation Z and Alpha, who are familiar with digital technology, it is important for teachers to integrate engaging digital learning media. Issues such as low motivation and student engagement are often caused by inappropriate learning media. Using game-based learning applications like Gimkit can be an effective solution. Gimkit allows teachers to provide practice questions in a fun game format, enhancing student understanding. However, in Majene Regency, the use of Gimkit is not widely known among teachers. Therefore, a training session was held to introduce and train 25 secondary school teachers in Majene Regency on May 11, 2024, at SMPN 2 Majene, West Sulawesi. This training employed lecture and practical methods, including presentations on gamification in education, types of gamification applications, and the use of Gimkit. Participants practiced creating accounts, making question sets (Kits), and simulating games with Gimkit, followed by discussions on suitable materials for this application. Questionnaires indicated that the training met the participants' needs, was clearly presented, and was beneficial in increasing their knowledge of game-based learning media. This training is expected to improve student motivation and engagement in learning in Majene Regency

Abstract

The propeller turbine is a form of turbine as a means of converting flow energy into mechanical energy. The energy conversion involves several stages of energy change until finally it becomes mechanical energy. The installation that will be designed for a MHP in the Faculty of Engineering laboratory using a propeller turbine has a low water source and discharge. With a head of 2.56 m and a discharge of 0.0412 m3/S, it provides a shaft power of 625 Watts with an efficiency of 93.4%. To get high turbine efficiency, it is necessary to consider the installation of the built network and regulation of the flow direction through the turbine blades. The influence of the direction of flow hitting the blades will determine the size of the momentum generated.
