Abstract

Media has a very important role in the learning process. Media can be used as learning aids that can make it easier for teachers to convey material in the learning process while making it easier for students to receive and understand material with the media product of climbing areca nut bio board games. The purpose of this research is to produce a media product for the areca nut climbing board game for learning biology. This media serves as a tool to stimulate memory and strengthen material for class XI SMA/MA students. This research is a development research using the Borg and Gall model which consists of the stages of Research and Information collecting, planning, developing preliminary form a product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing. The sample of this study was students of SMAN 6 Takalar class XI MIPA 1 with a total of 36 respondents. This research was conducted in December 2021 – February 2022. The instrument developed for effectiveness was the learning outcome test instrument. The learning media of the areca climbing Bio Board Games has collaborative, competitive, and cooperative elements. The media of the areca climbing Bio Board games that was developed was then tested for validity until it was declared valid by the validator and then implemented to determine the effectiveness through a learning outcome test. The results showed that the learning media of the areca climbing bio board games which was developed especially on learning outcomes met the effectiveness criteria because the number of students who obtained complete scores at the time of the posttest (94.5%) was in the very good category and the average value of the analysis was N- the normalized gain of 0.69 is in the medium category. Thus, based on the score obtained, the media is declared feasible and effective for use in biology learning, especially in the material of the circulation system.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan dan frekuensi informasi dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan di pemukiman sekitar muara sungai Tallo makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei dengan besaran sampelnya sebanyak 100 orang yang bermukim di kelurahan Buloa, Tallo, Parangloe dan Tamalanrea Indah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik proposional random sampling dari 1000 KK besaran populasi. Data dikumpul dengan memakai kuesioner, observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif berupa tabulasi, persentase dan analisis inferensial berupa analisis korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan tingkat pendidikan dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan termasuk kategori sedang, (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan tingkat pendapatan dengan partisipasi masyarakat, termasuk kategori rendah, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan rrekuensi informasi dengan partisipasi masyarakat, termasuk kategori rendah, dan (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan dan frekuensi informasi dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan di pemukiman sekitar muara sungai Tallo, termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Lingkungan, ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the relation of education degree, income and information frequency to society participant in managing the environment in the residence around the estuary of Tallo river Makassar. This is survey research that involve one hundred people as a sample who are lived at Buloa, Tallo, Parangloe villages and Tamalanrea Indah. The sampling is done by proportional random sampling from one thousand KK population. Data’s are collected by questioner, observation, interview, and documentation. The data’s are analyzed by qualitative description, theses are tabulation, percentage, and inferential analyzes as multiple correlation. The result of analyzes. The results giving information about (I) There are signifikan relation among education with communication participation in managing the housing environment low category, (2) There are signifikan relation among income with communication participation, in low category, (3) There is signifikan relation among frekuensi information with communication participation, in low category and (4) There is signifikan relation education, income and frekuensi information with communication participation in Managing environment in the estuary of Tallo river, very low category. Abstract

Self regulated learning merupakan suatu kemandirian yang harus ditumbuhkan agar mahasiswa tidak hanya tergantung pada informasi yang berasal dari dosen. Sedangkan, Self efficacy merupakan keyakinan dan harapan mengenai kemampuan individu untuk menghadapi tugasnya. Keduanya dapat ditumbuhkan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan adalah strategi blended learning. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self regulated learning dengan self efficacy mahasiswa pada Jurusan Biologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Biologi angkatan tahun 2019 yang terdiri atas 158 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak sederhana yang terdiri atas 39 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket self regulated learning yang terdiri atas 30 item dan angket self efficacy yang terdiri dari 18 item. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilar r = 0,619 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0.000 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara self regulated learning dengan self efficacy mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Biologi Dasar. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, self regulated learning dan self efficacy mahasiswa sebaiknya ditumbuhkembangkan dalam pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: self regulated learning, self efficacy, blended learningSelf-regulated learning is an independence in learning that must be promoted in order that students do not only rely solely on the information provided by lecturers. While, Self efficacy is a belief and hope regarding the ability of individuals to deal with their duties. Both can can be promoted by implementing appropriate learning strategies. One of the learnings strategies that can be implemented is the blended learning strategy. Accordingly, this research is conducted to assess the relationship between self regulated learning and student self-efficacy in the Department of Biology. The population in this study was all students of the Department of Biology in 2019 consisting of 158 people. The sample was taken by simple random sampling consisting of 39 people. The instrument used was a self regulated learning questionnaire consisting of 30 items, and a self-efficacy questionnaire consisting of 18 items. The research data was analyzed product moment correlation. The results obtained by value r = 0.619 with a significance value of p = 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Thus, it was concluded there was a relationship between self regulated learning and student self-efficacy in Basic Biology Class. From the results of the study, students' self-regulated learning and self-efficacy should be developed in learning.Keywords: self regulated learning, self efficacy, blended learnin

Abstract

Lembar Kerja Siswa Elektronik (LKPD elektronik) berbasis pendekatan sains materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dengan tujuan menghasilkan LKPD elektronik yang memenuhi kriteria praktis. LKPD elektronik dirancang dan dikembangkan menggunakan Canva, dan Liveworksheets. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket respon peserta didik dan angket respon guru untuk menilai kepraktisan produk LKPD. Implementasi LKPD elektronik dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Bantaeng dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 3 orang guru biologi, dan 30 orang peserta didik kelas XII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kepraktisan LKPD elektronik melalui respon guru sebesar 94,17%, dan peserta didik 89,86%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD elektronik berbasis pendekatan saintifik materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan memiliki kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa modul bioteknologi berbasis potensi lokal sebagai sumber belajar siswa kelas XII di SMAN 13 Luwu Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan desain ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi instrumen, angket respon guru, angket respon siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPA I SMAN 13 Luwu Utara. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata validitas modul oleh dua ahli validator yaitu 4,5 yang berada pada kategori valid. Kepraktisan modul mendapat tanggapan guru sebesar 93,33% berada pada kategori sangat praktis, dan tanggapan siswa sebesar 73,33% berada pada kategori praktis. Keefektifan modul diperoleh 70% siswa yang tuntas berada pada kategori efektif. Selain itu, diperoleh hasil tabulasi silang antara respon siswa dan hasil belajar dengan Signifikansi Asimptotik adalah 0,004 < 0,05 sehingga kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara kepraktisan dengan keefektifan modul bioteknologi berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

The study is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design) which aims to examine the influence of Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes and students’ learning motivation at MTsS Nurul Yaqin Benteng in Selayar Islands district. The population in this study were all students of MTsS Nurul Yaqin Benteng of grade VIII for academic year of 2021/2022. Samples were taken by using Random Sample technique. The learning motivation data were collected by using learning motivation questionnaire; whereas, the learning outcomes data were collected by using multiple choice test. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive analysis and t-test on SPSS version 23.0. The results of the study reveal that the students who were taught by using the Problem Based Learning model experienced an increase in learning outcomes which is in high category. Meanwhile, the students who were taught by using direct learning also experienced an increase in learning outcomes and learning motivation which is in high category. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test show the learning outcomes sig (2-tailed) > α 0.05 or 0.000 > α 0.05. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the test criteria, it can be concluded that there is an influence of implementing the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes and students’ learning motivation on Human Digestive System material in grade VIII at MTsS Nurul Yaqin Benteng in Selayar Islands district.

Abstract

This article discusses the differences in learning motivation and learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Makassar who are taught through video learning media and mobile learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used is Non-equivalent control[1]group design. The variables in this study are the independent variables, namely video learning media and mobile learning, the dependent variable is learning motivation and student learning outcomes. Sampling in this study was done by random sampling technique. One class uses video learning media and the other class uses mobile learning. The results showed that there were significant differences in students' motivation and learning outcomes in classes taught through video learning media and mobile learning. The motivation and learning outcomes of students' biology showed that the class that used mobile learning showed an increase in motivation and better learning outcomes than the class that used video learning media. So it can be concluded that there are differences in the motivation and learning outcomes of biology students who are taught through video learning media and mobile learning in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing jigsaw integrated PBL on students' attitudes and learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive and inferential analysis method. In this study, there are three attitude indicators studied, namely: cognitive, affective, and conative. The indicator of learning outcomes studied is the cognitive aspect. The population of this study was the entire class IX class of SMPN 1 Pallangga, totaling 11 classes for the 2021/2022 academic year on the subject of inheritance. The experimental class was taught using the jigsaw cooperative integrated PBL learning model and the control class using the PBL learning model. Class IX.7 was chosen as the experimental class with 16 students and class IX.5 as the control class with 16 students. Sampling was done randomly to determine the sample class from the population. The instrument used was a Likert model of science learning attitude questionnaire, and a multiple-choice learning outcome test. The results of the research and data analysis showed that there was an effect of implementing the integrated jigsaw PBL on the attitudes and learning outcomes of science students in class IX SMPN 1 Pallangga.

Abstract

This study aims to (i) analyze how metacognitive skills are; (ii) analyze how learning motivation is; (iii) analyze how science learning outcomes (iv) analyze the relationship between metacognitive skills and science learning outcomes; (v) analyze the relationship between learning motivation and science learning outcomes; (vi) analyze the relationship between metacognitive skills and learning motivation with learning outcomes together with science learning outcomes for class VIII SMP Negeri Makassar City students. This research is an ex-post facto research. The population in the study was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri in Ujung Pandang sub-district, Makassar City in the 2021-2022 academic year with a total of 717 students. The research sample was 345 students using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that (i) students' metacognition skills were classified as moderate, (ii) students' learning motivation was classified as moderate (iii) students' science learning outcomes were in the medium category, (iv) there was a relationship between metacognitive skills and science learning outcomes, (v) there were there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in Biology, (vi) there is a relationship between metacognitive skills and learning motivation with science learning outcomes for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri in Ujung Pandang District, Makassar City.

Abstract

This research is a correlational quantitative descriptive research that aims to determine the relationship between socio-economic status and environmental attitudes towards clean living behavior (PHBS) in Awangpone District, Bone Regency, the independent variable in this study is Socio-Economic Status, while the dependent variable is clean living behavior and healthy. The population in this study was the people of Awangpone District, Bone Regency. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of inferential data analysis, it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between environmental attitudes and clean and healthy living behavior at the level of a very strong relationship. Socioeconomic status with clean and healthy living behavior has a positive and significant relationship. Socio-economic status with clean and healthy living behavior is at a very strong relationship level. The biggest effective contribution to the dependent variable (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) is given by socioeconomic status 34.0% and environmental attitude 51.3%. The total effective contribution is 85.3%, which means that socio-economic status and environmental attitudes together provide an effective contribution of 85.3% to the clean and healthy living behavior of the Awangpone sub-district, Bone district, while 14.7% is influenced by factors not examined.
