Abstract

The development of tourist villages in Bali is a primary focus in efforts to advance the tourism industry. The potential of tourist villages encompasses natural beauty, culture, and traditions as tourism destination potentials. Community service plays a crucial role in the development of tourist villages in Bali. The method of community participation approach in sustainable tourism development was applied to 20 young participants in this program in August 2023.The use of training and skill development methods in the field of digital communication technology is highly relevant in the implementation of this community service. This method enables young people in Bongan Tourist Village to improve the promotion of their village. It helps them identify issues, explore their potential, analyze the resources they have, and determine strategic steps for the long-term management of the Tourist Village and how to promote it effectively.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis delves into the evolving landscape of research surrounding the impact of social media influencers on public opinion. Spanning nearly six decades and comprising 980 scholarly publications, the study employs rigorous bibliometric tools to unveil clusters of research themes, influential authors, and emerging trends. The analysis reveals the multifaceted role of social media influencers, spanning domains from consumer behavior to political discourse. Implications drawn from the findings highlight growing interdisciplinary interest and suggest potential avenues for future research, while the density visualization underscores well-explored and less-explored dimensions within the literature. As the influence of social media influencers continues to evolve, this study serves as a comprehensive guide, informing policymakers, marketers, and scholars about the complex interplay between digital influencers and societal perceptions.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of demographic factors on consumer preferences within the tourism industry in Bali. 250 tourists examined their accommodation choices, activity preferences, and overall satisfaction. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze the data. Results reveal nuanced patterns: younger tourists favor budget accommodations, older tourists opt for luxury, and higher-income individuals prefer upscale options. Gender and education impact preferences, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies. The measurement model assessment confirms the reliability and validity of the constructs. Findings contribute to understanding Bali's tourism dynamics, guiding businesses and policymakers in optimizing offerings for diverse demographic segments.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of sustainable tourism management, tourist education, and environmental awareness on the visiting intentions of tourists in Ubud, Bali. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 160 respondents using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) was employed for data analysis to explore the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that effective sustainable tourism management and heightened environmental awareness significantly enhance tourists' intentions to visit. Additionally, tourist education plays a crucial role in fostering environmental consciousness, further influencing visiting intentions. The results underscore the importance of integrated tourism strategies that prioritize sustainability and education to promote environmentally responsible travel behavior. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and tourism operators in developing sustainable tourism practices that align with visitors' environmental values.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Internet of Things (IoT), digital payment systems, and 24/7 customer support services on improving travelers' experiences in tourism destinations in Bali, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 respondents through a structured Likert scale questionnaire, with analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that all three factors positively and significantly contribute to enhancing tourists' experiences, with 24/7 customer support services having the strongest impact, followed by digital payment systems and IoT. The findings highlight the importance of continuous customer support, secure and convenient digital transactions, and seamless IoT-enabled services in creating a positive tourism experience. These insights provide practical implications for tourism operators and policymakers in Bali, underscoring the need for technological investments to meet modern travelers' expectations.

Abstract

This research investigates the intricate relationships between healthy lifestyle practices, the accessibility of health facilities, and their impact on the quality of life and life expectancy in Jakarta. Employing a quantitative approach with a sample of 300 participants, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze the data. The measurement model confirms the reliability and validity of latent constructs, while the structural model reveals significant positive associations. Improved accessibility of health facilities is strongly linked to higher life expectancy and better quality of life. Additionally, healthier lifestyle practices positively influence both life expectancy and quality of life. The statistical tests further support these relationships, emphasizing the critical role of healthcare infrastructure and individual choices in shaping public health outcomes. The findings provide actionable insights for public health interventions and policy development to enhance the overall well-being of Jakarta's residents.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of leadership styles, organizational culture, and career development on the quality of creative industry employees in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, a sample of 300 professionals from the creative sector was analyzed. The measurement model evaluation confirmed the reliability and validity of the constructs, while the structural model revealed significant positive relationships between leadership styles, organizational culture, and career development with the quality of creative industry employees. The results provide valuable insights for organizational strategies and practices within the Indonesian creative industry, emphasizing the importance of visionary leadership, innovative culture, and career development opportunities in enhancing the quality of creative outputs.

Abstract

This research investigates consumer perceptions of product quality, sales promotion, and ease of purchase in the context of start-up companies in Indonesia. A quantitative research design, employing a sample of 150 participants, explores the relationships between these factors and their collective impact on consumer purchasing decisions. The study utilizes a cross-sectional survey approach, including demographic variables, and employs statistical analysis, including correlation and regression analyses with SPSS. The findings highlight the significance of product quality, sales promotion, and ease of purchase in shaping consumer preferences. Product quality emerges as the strongest influencer, followed by sales promotion and ease of purchase. Demographic variations further emphasize the need for tailored marketing strategies. The research contributes valuable insights for start-ups aiming to navigate Indonesia's diverse consumer landscape.

Abstract

The tourism industry in Bali represents a dynamic and competitive landscape, where businesses strive to gain and maintain a competitive advantage in a global market. This study investigates the influence of employee competence and organizational culture on competitive advantage within the context of the tourism sector in Bali. A quantitative approach utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis was employed to analyze data collected from 170 participants working in various tourism-related businesses. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between employee competence, organizational culture, and competitive advantage. Employee competence was found to positively influence organizational culture and competitive advantage, while organizational culture was positively associated with competitive advantage. Furthermore, organizational culture partially mediated the relationship between employee competence and competitive advantage. These findings underscore the importance of investing in employee development and fostering a positive organizational culture to enhance competitiveness in the tourism industry in Bali.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of technological innovation and design creativity on the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 267 tourists visiting various destinations in Bali. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was used to analyze the relationships between technological innovation, design creativity, and destination attractiveness. The results revealed significant positive relationships between technological innovation and destination attractiveness (β = 0.543, p < 0.001) and between design creativity and destination attractiveness (β = 0.486, p < 0.001). The model fit assessment indicated satisfactory fit indices for the SEM-PLS model. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of leveraging technological innovation and design creativity to enhance the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali and foster sustainable tourism growth.
