Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program (MBKM) is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which aims to encourage students to master various knowledge that is useful for entering the world of work. One form of learning activities offered is apprenticeship/practice. Internship aims to provide opportunities to apply theories that have been learned in lectures, as well as the application of general and specific skills in the world of work. Through the Kedaireka Matching Fund (MF) 2023 program, the Social Science Education study program, Unesa partnered with Micro Enterprises at the Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro, holding research internships. Research internships are attended by ten students for one semester. Data collection techniques used interviews with all research subjects, including documentation in the form of internship program manuals and student internship reports. Internship activities at Al-Fatimah Islamic Pondok Pesantren include three main activities, namely: workshops, observations, and entrepreneurial practices. During the internship, students make various household cleaning products such as detergent, dish soap, perfume and so on. Students also sell household cleaning products, whether marketed directly to consumers, trade fairs or marketing using online media. The results of the activity show that the apprenticeship program at Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro Pondok Pesantren Micro Enterprise provides hands-on learning experience for Social Sciences Education students to manage entrepreneurship starting from managing trademarks, optimizing production, optimizing marketing and managing cooperatives. The internship experience also adds soft skills, so that students are ready to compete and open up new business opportunities.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic and science in Mobile Learning App (MLA) is an innovative and flexible digital learning media to help students learn during pandemic. This study aimed 1) to develop of MLA integrated with Islamic and science, 2) to determine the effect of MLA integrated with Islamic and science on students learning outcomes. This study used the Gall, Gall, & Borg Research and Development (R&D) model. The product fitness has been tested by the expert validators in learning media, materials, linguistics, and integration of Islamic and science, and the product effectiveness has been tested on students. The result showed that: 1) the integration of Islamic and science in MLA was fit to be used in learning with effective category and 2) the integration of Islamic and science in MLA was effective to improve student's learning outcomes in hydrosphere topic. Suggestions for media users include the following: 1) use media in an area with a strong network or internet connection; 2) conduct an outdoor study using mobile learning media; and 3) provide knowledge about using media before the lesson begins.This research provides positive energy for students as a provision to become agents of change in the 21st century, especially in mobile learning app based on Islamic and science.Research development using technology in science and Islamic curriculum also support to improve learning outcomes. Abstract

Combining Islamic boarding school education with cooperative economic practices is one of the efforts to establish sustainable partnerships. Economic endeavours within the educational system often face ups and downs due to divided focus. Al-Fatimah is one of the most prominent Islamic boarding schools in Bojonegoro, East Java, and has developed cooperative businesses. This cooperative, named Al-Fatimah, operates as an independent business unit and engages in various fields, including MSMEs, laundry, food stalls, and a cafeteria, serving thousands of students. However, the cooperative's management is still not optimal. This research aims to uncover the factors hindering the development and strengthening of Al-Fatimah's cooperative management using a qualitative approach and a case study method. The research results indicate two factors influencing the development of Al-Fatimah's cooperative management: internal and external. Communication is an internal element, and capitalization is an external factor; both are crucial in sustaining the cooperative business at Al-Fatimah Islamic boarding school. Therefore, an improvement in communication and access to capital from partnerships, both internal and external to the boarding school, is needed to ensure the continuity of Al-Fatimah's cooperative.

Abstract

Villages hold a strategic role as engines of Indonesia’s development from the periphery, while simultaneously serving as centers of community life in the 21st century. However, the phenomenon observed in many villages—particularly in Watutulis Village, Prambon District, Sidoarjo Regency—reveals a range of potentials that can be further optimized, such as local wisdom, social capital, and community solidarity. Therefore, it is essential to provide social awareness training that emphasizes tolerance and respect for diversity within village communities. The implementation of the community service program (PKM) in Watutulis Village has brought significant benefits through the sharing of best practices. This program aims to strengthen social awareness as a foundation for promoting Asta Cita and Pancasila character values through civic training activities in Watutulis, Sidoarjo. The target participants of the program consisted of 30 individuals, including five village officials, 15 youth association members (karang taruna), and 10 local residents. The methods employed to address the partners’ challenges included dissemination, training, technology application, mentoring, and program sustainability, which were structured into two rounds of on-the-job training (OJT) and one implementation stage. The activities encompassed: (1) OJT 1: focus group discussions (FGD), Gymnastics & Outbound, and nationalistic games; (2) OJT 2: youth leadership training; and (3) Implementation: a civic-nationalistic parade. This community service initiative led to an increase in participants’ knowledge and awareness of social vigilance, which directly contributed to a deeper understanding of Asta Cita and the practical implementation of Pancasila character in daily life. Consequently, it equips the villagers of Watutulis, Sidoarjo, with social awareness to better respond to national issues. High levels of social vigilance are believed to serve as a resilient safeguard for the community, reflecting Pancasila values and encouraging the active participation of Watutulis residents at both local and regional levels.

Abstract

Collaborative learning based on the environment project as a differentiating model from the implementation of the curriculum of Merdeka. This study aims to obtain teacher perceptions before and after workshops on collaborative learning based on the environment project as a practice of implementing an curriculum of Merdeka in schools. Teacher perceptions are very important in increasing competency in facilitating differentiated learning of their students as 21st-century learners. This study uses an exploratory study through a qualitative approach. This research involved 19 teachers of social and exact sciences at SMAN 3 Sampang. The teachers cover the fields of Geography, Economics, Sociology, History, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. Teachers were as key informant. Data were collected from October 2022 using instruments developed. The data consisted of 17 questions about project-based collaborative learning as a strengthening implementation curriculum of Merdeka. Data collection was carried out through deep interviews, observation, and filling out questionnaires. The instruments used are based on indicators of collaborative learning based on the environment project and guidelines for implementing the curriculum of Merdeka made by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant increase in teachers' perceptions of collaborative learning based on the environment project as a strengthening implementation of the curriculum of Merdeka, which has increased from before and after participating in learning workshops. As many as 84% of teachers have mastered the flow of the project-based collaborative learning model and as many as 74% of teachers have understood the strengthening implementation of the curriculum of Merdeka. This indicates that there has been a significant change in the mastery and understanding of the exact and social teachers in applying the differentiated learning model as a form of strengthening implementation curriculum of Merdeka. In the future, it is necessary to continue training programs or workshops on the strengthening implementation of the curriculum of Merdeka with a focus on other indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh regulasi diri dan prokrastinasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 5 Sidoarjo pada pengenalan lapangan persekolahan tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one shot case study. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas VIII-2 berjumlah 33 siswa menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket persepsi siswa dan tes individu berupa UH 1 dan UH 2 yang diambil secara ex-post facto. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dan berganda serta pearson product moment dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan regulasi diri pada siswa kelas VIII-2 termasuk dalam kriteria kurang dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 47% dan tingkat prokrastinasi yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII-2 termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 61%. Adapun nilai hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII-2 yang termasuk dalam kriteria (D) yaitu kurang baik, karena rata-rata nilai satu kelas hanya mencapai angka 64. Hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana dapat dilihat nilai R Square sebesar 0.301 untuk variabel X? terhadap Y. Artinya regulasi diri berpengaruh sebesar 30% terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Kedua dapat dilihat dari nilai R Square sebesar 0.072 untuk variabel X? terhadap Y. Artinya prokrastinasi berpengaruh sebesar 7% terhadap hasil belajar IPS dan hasil analisis regresi linier berganda dapat dilihat dari nilai R Square sebesar 0.317 untuk variabel X? dan X? terhadap Y. Artinya regulasi diri dan prokrastinasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh sebesar 31,7% terhadap hasil belajar IPS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP pada materi peran pelaku ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, validasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunkan skoring kemudian dipersentasekan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) mendapat presentase perolehan skor sebesar 93,3% dari ahli media. Berdasarkan skala likert maka nilai tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Media pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) mendapat presentase perolehan skor sebesar 87,5% dari ahli materi maka masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Media pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) mendapat presentase perolehan skor sebesar 90,5% dari praktisi pendidik maka masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Media Pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) mendapat presentase perolehan skor hasil belajar siswa adalah 86,3% maka masuk dalam kategori sangat efektif. Dengan demikian penggunaan media pembelajaran Jenga IPS (JIPS) memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 8C sebagai kelas eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman.

Abstract

Materi pembelajaran IPS yang cenderung banyak dan berupa bacaan, konsep serta bersifat hafalan membuat siswa banyak yang pasif saat kegiatan pembelajaran IPS, kurang menarik, terasa jenuh, membosankan, dan kurang antusias untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran IPS. Diperlukan adanya variasi dalam menyampaikan materi IPS. pengembangan media pembelajaran komik digital dilakukan sebagai upaya menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE yang ada lima tahap didalamnya Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Hasil pengembangan dan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Media pembelajaran komik digital sangat layak digunakan untuk meyampaikan materi pembelajaran IPS dengan dasar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media pembelajaran dengan prosesntase materi dalam media sebesar 80% dan media pembelajaran sebesar 88,23%; 2) Media pebelajaran komik digital sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS dengan dasar penilaian praktisis pendidikan dengan prosesntase 93,33% serta dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar yang tinggi terhadap siswa dengan dasar respon angket minat belajar oleh siswa dengan prosentase 64,23% dengan kualifikasi tinggi untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning menggunakan scrapbook dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain berbentuk nonequivalent control group menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik yaitu lembar observasi, tes, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning menggunakan scrapbook terhadap kreativitas siswa pada sub materi pembangunan berkelanjutan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji independent sample t-test memperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. Sedangkan dari hasil uji independent sample t-test pada hasil belajar IPS siswa diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,019 < 0,05, yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning menggunakan scrapbook terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa pada sub materi pembangunan berkelanjutan.
