Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada Siswa Menengah Atas atau MA/SMA Sederajat yang biasanya akan melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi dengan jurusan yang diinginkannya setelah lulus nanti. Namun, masih ada sekolah maupun orang tua yang belum sepenuhnya mengetahui korelasi antara kesesuaian antara minat dan bakat siswa dengan kecerdasan/keberhasilan studi. Akibat dari kurangnya pengetahuan ini, siswa seringkali tidak mendapatkan arahan yang tepat ketika ingin menentukan jurusan di bangku kuliah. Selain agar berhasil dalam studinya dan tidak mengalami masalah karena salah mengambil jurusan, lebih jauh lagi, dengan mengetahui minat dan bakat dapat membantu siswa untuk memilih jalur karir yang akan ditekuninya nanti setelah lulus. Minat adalah interaksi antara keinginan, harapan, pengalaman atau kebutuhan yang menggerakan seseorang untuk menyukai hal tertentu, sedangkan bakat adalah karakteristik pribadi yang mengarahkan seseorang untuk meraih kesuksesan (Reed & Wolniak, 2005). Pada kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini, Tim pelaksana dari Dosen dan Mahasiswa melaksanakan Tes Minat RMIB untuk mendapatkan gambaran minat dan Tes Intelegensia Umum (TIU) pada siswa kelas XII MA Sultan Sulaiman Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan sekolah ini diikuti oleh 37 orang siswa yang mengambil jurusan IPA dan IPS. Luaran dari kegiatan ini berupa gambaran tentang kecerdasan dan minat. Hasil tersebut dapat digunakan oleh siswa, dan pihak sekolah sebagai referensi untuk menentukan jurusan yang akan diambil ketika siswa berkuliah nanti.

Abstract

The increasing intensity of land conversion in the Krueng Jreue Aceh Besar Sub-watershed from forest to non-forest or due to changes in land use causes changes in the biophysical aspects of the land. Changes in the biophysical aspects of land cause an increase in the level of flood vulnerability. This research uses a descriptive method (survey). The research results show: The variables determining the level of flood vulnerability are based on biophysical aspects of forest and land, namely: dynamic factors (rainfall, land use) and statistical factors (soil infiltration, slope slope). Flood Vulnerability Level Classes (TKB), consisting of: Very Vulnerable, organizations, rice fields (42≤TKB≤50); Vulnerable, moor (34≤TKB≤41); and Medium, open land, shrubs, grasslands, secondary forests, primary forests (26≤TKB≤33), average 32.38 (medium class). Directions for mitigating hydrological disasters in cultivation areas (settlements, rice fields and moors), by implementing flood prevention and air management measures, implementing soil and air conservation and regulating planting patterns. Meanwhile, in non-cultivated areas (open land, bushes, grasslands, secondary forests and primary forests), by implementing land rehabilitation packages and preventing illegal logging.

Abstract

Changes in the biophysical characteristics of land cause an increase in the level of flood vulnerability. This research uses a descriptive method (survey). The research results show: Variables determining the level of flood vulnerability are based on biophysical aspects of the land, namely: dynamic factors (rainfall, land use), and static factors (soil infiltration, slope slope).Flood Vulnerability Level Classes (TKB) in the Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed consist of: Very Vulnerable, settlements and rice fields (42≤TKB≤50); Vulnerable, moor (34≤TKB≤41); Moderately Vulnerable/Moderate open land, bushes, grasslands, secondary forests and primary forests (26≤TKB≤33); mean 32.38 (moderately vulnerable class).Residential land and rice fields in the cultivation area, covering an area of ​​624.76 ha or 2.70% of the total area of ​​the Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed (23,218.06 ha), have the highest level of vulnerability to flood disasters. Flood disasters occur in November-December, when rainfall is high.

Abstract

Understanding the basic concepts of mathematics is the key to learning and applying mathematics in other disciplines. Many students today only rely on memorizing formulas without understanding mathematics concepts. One way to be introduced so that students do not just memorize and think math is boring is educational games. Community service conducted by lecturers of the Mathematics Study Program FMIPA Tanjungpura University to students of SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang West Kalimantan amis to increase motivation to learn matematis through educational games. The method used was in the form of educational seminars on educational games in the field of mathematics and exhibitions of mathematical teaching aids. Students are given some basic math problems that can be solved through games. Some concepts of algebra, geometry, and statistics were given as examples in applying educational games. In addition, some props to facilitate math solutions were also given, such as trigonometry, geometry, and algebraic calculation props. One of the results obtained is that students feel that activities like this need to be done so that student's interest in mathematics increases. Furthermore, this activity also gives a better understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics to other disciplines

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to (1) optimize the competence of student teachers through the peer tutoring method with an andragogical approach at the Chemistry MGMP "Jiang Jang Isotope" in East Barito Regency; (2) change the mindset of the Chemistry teacher at the Chemistry MGMP "Jiang Jang Isotope" East Barito Regency, Regency East Barito becomes a teacher as an agent of reform who is ready to face the Teacher Competency Test. The method of fostering and empowering the MGMP Chemistry "Isotope Jari Jenang" using the peer-to-peer method with the andragogical approach. The results obtained by implementing the Guidance and Empowerment of student teachers through the peer tutoring method with the andragogic approach can optimize the competence of teachers at the MGMP Chemistry "Isotope Jari Jang" Barito Regency Timur and was able to change his mindset as a teacher who became an agent of reform in facilitating student-centered learning and was ready to face the Teacher Competency Test (UKG).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the philosophical value of moral education in Islam. This type of research is based on literature and the method of data collection collects various documents from various books, journals, letters in the Qur'an and some Hadith related to the title or research problem. The results of this study include in Q.S At-Tiin: 4, Q.S Luqman: 13-14, Q.S Al-Ahzab: 21 and one of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH narrated and many other hadiths that discuss moral education. The verses and hadiths that have been described above certainly discuss moral education in Islam, starting from explaining the meaning or meaning of moral education and also explaining the implementation of moral education or being taught in terms of its application or practices in daily life to achieve prosperity in this world and the hereafter, of course, by carrying out all the commands of Allah SWT by making the Messenger of Allah as Uswatun Hasanah (a good example) in this life, of course, in highlighting the Morals of the Prophet PBUH as a way for us to achieve the Pleasure of Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using songs as a pedagogical tool to improve vocabulary acquisition among primary school students learning English as a foreign language. The research was conducted with a group of 40 students aged 8 to 10 at a public elementary school. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group, which was exposed to vocabulary learning through English songs, and a control group, which learned vocabulary through traditional methods such as rote memorization and textbook exercises. Data were collected over a period of six weeks using pre-tests and post-tests to measure vocabulary retention and acquisition. The findings revealed that students in the experimental group showed significantly higher improvement in vocabulary retention and usage compared to the control group. The results suggest that incorporating songs into language teaching not only makes learning more engaging and enjoyable but also enhances long-term vocabulary retention. Additionally, the study highlights the role of music in reducing anxiety and promoting a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom. In conclusion, the use of songs in teaching English vocabulary can be an effective strategy for primary school students, offering a fun and interactive way to reinforce language skills. Future research could explore the impact of different types of songs or expand the study to other language skills such as listening and speaking.

Abstract

Pada riset ini bertujuan untuk melakukan obeservasi klinik sediaan jus sari buah mengkudu yang dikombinasikan dengan kayu manis pada kadar asam urat dan gejala inflamasi pada pasien hiperurisemia di puskesmas temindung, serta mengamati karakteristik penderita hiperusemia sebagai responden. Metode Quasi eksperimental digunakan untuk mendesain penelitian dengan teknik purposive sampling melalui pre- and post-test design selama 7 hari. Didapatkan data karakteristik responden, dengan persentase paling besar pada usia 61-70 tahun sebesar 43%, berjenis kelamin perempuan 67%, pendidikan SMA 43%, penyakit penyerta hipertensi 63%, dan riwayat pengobatan amlodipin 53%. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan selama 7 hari setelah pemberian jus sari buah mengkudu yang dikombinasikan dengan kayu manis pada responden hiperurisemia yaitu terjadi penurunan rata-rata 2 mg/dL dan skala nyeri sebesar 2,7 (p=0,000<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sediaan jus sari buah mengkudu yang dikombinasiksn dengan kayu manis mampu mengurangi kadar asam urat dan penurunan skala nyeri pada responden

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan pendidikan untuk membentuk kepribadian seseorang melalui pendidikan budi pekerti, yang hasilnya terlihat dalam tindakan nyata seseorang, yaitu tingkah laku yang baik dan jujur, bertanggung jawab, menghormati hak orang lain, kerja keras, dan sebagainya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah mengetahui bagaimana cara mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter melalui kerjasama. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendampingan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai pelatihan pendidikan karakter melalui kerjasama di Dayah Putri Muslimat Samalanga telah terlaksana dengan baik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the business feasibility of the development of Tempe Pak Muhlis MSMEs in Lerpak Village, Geger District, Bangkalan Regency, in the Management aspect. Management is the achievement of business goals in an effective and efficient manner through planning, organizing, leading and controlling business resources. In order to achieve the goals or objectives of a business, of course, through a management process. Tempeh is one of the foods favored by the community. The raw material for making tempeh comes from soybeans and non-soybeans. The business of making tempeh in Indonesia is mostly done in the home industry or home industry, one of which is like the one in Geger District Dusun Lerpak Kab. Bangkalan. this study aims to identify the feasibility of the tempeh industry in Lerpak Hamlet from the management aspect through a qualitative approach. data collected through in-depth interviews with producers of shrimp paste traders and consumers as well as direct observation in the field. Based on the results of the research, the tempeh industry can be said to be feasible because it has covered and fulfilled the analysis method.
