The new construct of SUI will contribute to more appropriate university marketing strategy in highly competitive market in digital era. In addition, the research is aimed to discover SUI influence toward students’ satisfaction. This study employed a quantitative methodology, supported by study literature. Structural Equation Method is applied to analyse relationship between variables. The paper reveals that SUI able to increase student satisfaction by mediating it from Value Co Creation. It also means that SUI can be used as marketing strategy by promoting advanced technology toward Gen Z as the student’s candidate. Furthermore, the proposal of a new construct, namely SUI, becoming a more appropriate and integrated term for marketing strategy in the SU domain.

Abstract

The study investigates specifically the relationship between Gross Domestic Product (GDP), total stock market traded, market capitalization, private credit by deposit bank, human capital, foreign direct investment, population and trade openness (imports plus exports) and economic growth (GDP per capita). We use the extended endogenous growth model with specifications by employing dynamic panel data methodology. Our empirical application of the dynamic panel model to the finance–growth nexus is based on an unbalanced panel dataset of 29 middle-income African countries1 over the period 1990 – 2019 obtained from World Development Indicators. The findings revelead that financial development exerts significant and positive impacts on economic growth. The overall development of the financial system is essential for enhancing economic outcomes. Therefore, attempts at achieving some fine balance between a bank-based system and a market-based system are trivial to growth.

Then, it was processed with device NVivo 12 software. The research results showed that (1) The teacher considered that eco-pedagogic approach became a need for developing social studies teaching materials in coastal schools, (2) Relevant content in eco-pedagogic-based teaching materials covered aspects of sustainability environment coast, utilization of environmental functions, and natural resource management. The development of teaching materials was carried out by considering the learning objectives that include evaluation of coastal and marine resource potential, designing solutions to environmental problems, and argument presentation. The proposed learning model in teaching materials was Project-based Learning. In conclusion, the development of ecopedagogy-based teaching materials is very needed as an environmental conservation effort, because in previous research there were no teaching materials that focused on coastal and marine environments. Then, the content contained in social studies teaching materials is eco-pedagogically based with a project-based learning model can be an enriching reference for students at coastal junior high schools in Jakarta focusing on relevant content and using appropriate learning models is expected that students can understand better and care about the coastal and marine environment.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on Generation Z university students' Netflix subscription intention. The research is motivated by the increasing reliance of students on streaming platforms for entertainment, cultural exposure, and informal learning, alongside heightened psychological pressures associated with digital connectivity. Method: A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using online questionnaires distributed to 385 university students aged 18–24 who actively use Netflix. Out of 400 questionnaires distributed, 385 were returned and deemed valid (response rate: 96.25%). Non-probability purposive sampling was applied. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, reliability and validity testing (HTMT criterion for discriminant validity), and hypothesis testing using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with bootstrapping. Results: Students exhibited moderate-to-high FOMO levels (M = 3.87, SD = 0.92) and predominantly high subscription intentions (M = 4.12, SD = 0.78) on a 5-point Likert scale. FOMO had a significant positive effect on subscription intention (β = 0.432, p < 0.001), explaining 43.2% of the variance. Perceived usefulness, social influence, and digital literacy were measured as contextual variables but not incorporated into the structural model. The remaining 56.8% of unexplained variance indicates that other psychological, social, and technological factors warrant future investigation. Novelty: This study provides empirical evidence that FOMO is a significant predictor of streaming platform adoption among Generation Z. The findings offer practical implications for platform providers and educational institutions to develop targeted interventions addressing psychological drivers and digital literacy competencies relevant to subscription behavior in higher education contexts.

Abstract

A volatile and uncertain business environment requires organisations to have employees who are agile in adapting. However, job insecurity can affect employees' psychological conditions and potentially hinder adaptive behaviour. Therefore, resilience is considered important as the ability to survive and thrive amid the pressures of change. This study aims to analyse the influence of organisational culture and job insecurity on employee agility, with employee resilience as a mediating variable. This is a quantitative study using a survey method. The study population consisted of 600 permanent employees in the accessories division of the garment industry in Semarang Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the following criteria: permanent employees with at least 1 year of service, experiencing changes in the work system/environmental pressure, and willingness to participate, resulting in 220 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analysed using the Partial Least Squares approach to Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). The results showed that organisational culture contributed positively to resilience and employee agility. In this study, job insecurity was also associated with increased resilience and employee agility. Resilience was found to act as a mediator bridging the influence of organisational culture and job insecurity on employee agility. The implications of this study emphasise the importance of strengthening adaptive culture, ensuring clear organisational communication, and developing resilience-building programmes to maintain employee agility in the face of change.

Abstract

This research investigates the moderating role of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk ratings in the relationship between traditional Fama-French framework and excess stock returns among companies listed in the ESG Leaders Index for the 2021–2023 period. Using moderated regression analysis (MRA), the findings reveal that small minus big (SMB) exerts a significant positive impact on excess returns, confirming the relevance of firm size as a pricing factor even within the sustainability-focused investment universe. Meanwhile, market risk and high minus low (HML) do not show demonstrate statistical relevance direct effects, although HML is marginally significant. Furthermore, ESG risk rating demonstrates a moderating effect only in the relationship between HML and excess returns, suggesting that sustainability considerations may weaken the traditional value premium. These results highlight the partial integration of ESG risk into asset pricing dynamics and underline the essentiality of incorporating ESG factors in developing more robust, sustainable investment strategies. The study provides practical insights for market participants, fund managers, and authorities navigating the transition toward sustainable finance in emerging markets.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing users' continuance intention (CI) in fintech mobile payment services, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era. With the rapid adoption of digital payment methods, the research examines key determinants such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, security and privacy, satisfaction, and habit. An explanatory quantitative research design was employed, analyzing data from 101 respondents. The results reveal that habit and satisfaction are the primary drivers of continuance intention, while traditional factors such as ease of use and trust become less significant in the post-adoption phase. These findings challenge established models and highlight the shift in user behavior towards habitual use and emotional satisfaction. This study contributes to the literature by offering an integrated model for understanding user retention in the fintech sector and provides practical insights for fintech providers to enhance customer engagement and foster long-term loyalty.
