Abstract

The health industry has the third highest voluntary turnover rate in the world; thus, the degree of participation in the health industry is still relatively low. Low employee engagement continues to make employee engagement an intriguing issue of study, notably in Indonesia. According to a survey, 76% of employees are not engaged in their work. This study aims to investigate the effect of polychronicity on employee engagement with the conditional process of job satisfaction as a mediating variable and compensation as a moderating variable. Testing the model using the PROCESS statistical tool version 3.5, the sample was determined based on the Slovin formula so that 212 individuals participated in the study. According to the findings, compensation is effective in moderating the effect of polychronicity on job satisfaction, compensation is effective in moderating the effect of polychronicity on employee engagement, and compensation is effective in moderating the effect of job satisfaction on employee engagement. Each interaction is in a high category. The study implicates the result of the analysis of the conditional process model on the effect of polychronicity, job satisfaction, and compensation on employee engagement in the health industry.

Abstract

The pressing environmental challenges of climate change, resource depletion, biodiversity loss, and pollution demand integrated solutions combining economic principles, Islamic values, and entrepreneurial attitudes. This study investigates how reorienting economic models to include environmental costs, guided by Islamic principles of stewardship (khalifah), balance (mizan), and justice (adl), can promote sustainability. It highlights the role of entrepreneurial innovation in developing sustainable technologies and business models. A qualitative methodology, including literature review and thematic analysis, aims to develop a conceptual framework that harmonizes these elements. By integrating green accounting, ethical teachings, and social entrepreneurship, this approach provides a comprehensive strategy for achieving a sustainable environment, supported by policy development, education, and community engagement.

Abstract

The public sector, as the front guard of public services, has a huge responsibility in ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and innovation in the delivery of public services. One of the keys to achieving this goal is through the practice of Knowledge Sharing, or sharing knowledge, at all levels of the organization. This research aims to delve into the practices of Knowledge Sharing in the public sector as an effort to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of public services. However, the limited research investigating Knowledge Sharing practices in the public sector poses a challenge that needs further exploration. The methodology employed in this research involves utilizing data from 165 articles indexed by Google Scholar and Scopus, using the Publish or Perish application. Bibliometric analysis includes visual mapping using Vos Viewer to identify research trends, frequently occurring keywords, and the density of research on various topics. Network visualization illustrates clusters of terms that are the focus of research, such as performance, information exchange, knowledge creation, and motivation. By combining data from network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization, this research provides a comprehensive overview of the development of Knowledge Sharing research in the public sector. It identifies that topics such as codification and incentives are still underexplored, presenting opportunities for further research in the future.

Abstract

The beauty industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, driven by factors such as a large young population and increasing purchasing power. The government is also encouraging improvements in the supply chain of raw materials to increase the national added value. Additionally, advancements in technology and the rise of social media and digital platforms have provided opportunities for the promotion and dissemination of beauty products. Influencer marketing and online advertising have become popular strategies for promoting beauty products. These techniques have been found to have a positive impact on consumer purchase decisions. Green brand knowledge has also gained importance in the beauty industry, as consumers are becoming more conscious of environmental issues and seeking sustainable and eco-friendly products. Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of influencer marketing, online advertising, and green brand knowledge on the purchase decisions of green beauty products. The study utilizes a quantitative research approach and analyses data from 100 consumers. The findings suggest that influencer marketing and online advertising, have a direct impact on purchasing decisions, while green brand awareness has an insignificant impact on purchase decisions. The study recommends that companies focus on creating high-quality influencer content and implementing effective online marketing strategies to enhance the impact of these techniques. Additionally, companies should choose influencers and platforms aligned with their target audience. The study acknowledges limitations in sample size and research method and suggests further research to validate the findings. Abstract

Instant noodles are one of the favorite foods in Indonesia. Many food and beverage companies compete to attract consumer interest by providing promotions for various flavors of instant noodle products. The health issue of instant noodle products has become a concern for business owners who want to provide healthier food. However, the importance of healthy food has yet to receive a positive and significant response from Indonesian consumers. Increasing consumer interest in healthy food in Indonesia is crucial since it can significantly affect public health. This study aims to measure the effect of convenience, advertising, subjective norms, and product attributes as antecedents of people's purchase intention for healthy instant noodle products. This research used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique based on the criteria: consumers of healthy instant noodle products who have previously purchased instant noodles or a variety of healthy instant noodles. A total of 210 respondents participated in filling out this research questionnaire. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used as an analytical technique. The results of this study indicate that subjective norms are not proven to be an antecedent that affects consumer purchase intentions for healthy instant food products. In contrast, product attributes are the most influential antecedent. This study provides academic implications by adding literature on the antecedents of people's purchase intentions for healthy instant noodle products. The practical implications, especially for business owners, are shown by helpful information to improve campaigns, promotions, and product sales. Abstract

Manuscript type: Research paper Research Aims: This study examines the influence of influencer marketing strategies on consumer purchasing behaviour among fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies in Ghana. Design/methodology/approach: This study employs an explanatory (causal) research design. A 31-item questionnaire split into four categories was used to collect quantitative data. An online questionnaire was sent to FMCG consumers in Ghana's Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions, aged 18–48 years and older. Multiple regression analysis was performed to establish relationships between the study variables. Research Findings: The findings showed that YouTube is the most popular social media platform among Ghanaian users, according to the findings of the study. Several factors, such as attractiveness, credibility, expertise, reach, and engagement, affect the influence of Ghanaian influencers on consumer purchasing behaviour in FMCG firms. It has been demonstrated that these factors have a positive and statistically significant effect on the purchasing behaviour of customers Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study enhances the theoretical understanding of influencer marketing's efficacy and provides valuable insights for practitioners and marketers seeking to leverage influencer marketing to improve their brand's performance in the competitive FMCG market. Practitioner/Policy Implications: This study emphasises the need for strategic and authentic influencer marketing for Ghana's FMCG firms. To increase customer engagement, organisations must carefully identify influencers, emphasise trust and authenticity, improve product-related content, and encourage interactive involvement. Research limitation/implications: The concentration of FMCG firms in Ghana limits the generalisability of the study's findings to other industries or countries
