The results show that 35 respondents (64.8%) experienced an increase in post-test scores, 13 respondents (24.1%) experienced a decrease, and 7 respondents (11.1%) had unchanged scores. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference before and after the intervention (p = 0.001).  In conclusion, nutritional education using MIKUZIKAL positively influences the improvement of mothers' knowledge in preventing stunting. Abstract

This study aims to describe the communication ethics of the Tepian Batang village apparatus in efforts to improve public services, as well as to identify and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of these communication ethics. The research was conducted at the Tepian Batang Village Office, Tanah Grogot Subdistrict, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, from March to April 2025. Data analysis employed the interactive model by Miles and Huberman (2016). The results indicate that the communication ethics practiced by the village apparatus in enhancing public services are carried out through effective communication aspects and strong collaboration between the village head and village officials in socializing programs down to the neighborhood (RT) level, community groups (POKMAS), and PKK activists who are the policy targets. The village human resources effectively perform their duties through intensive coordination with POKMAS, RT, and PKK, as well as by compiling reports from community deliberations. he village budget, sourced from Village Funds (State Budget - APBN) and Village Allocation Funds (Regional Budget - APBD), with an allocation of approximately IDR 124.5 billion for Paser Regency in 2025, supports program implementation. The disposition of Tanah Grogot Subdistrict shows a strong commitment to the work programs, demonstrated by the subdistrict head’s direct involvement in socialization and the active role of POKMAS in overseeing community meetings and reporting the results to the village head. A bureaucratic structure at the subdistrict level functions to collect, verify, and coordinate village activity proposals and report implementation results to the regent.

Abstract

Digital communicative competency has evolved into a must for EFL students in the twenty-first century if they are to connect boldly and appropriately in English via email, video conferences, and messaging apps. This study aims to examine how the Talking Stick learning paradigm affects EFL students' digital communicative competence, or their capacity to communicate confidently, appropriately, and effectively in English across digital platforms. This study used a quantitative research design, using a survey approach. The findings show that all four dimensions had statistically significant improvements, with the highest gain in Confidence in Digital Communication, and displayed a statistically significant increase. Confidence in Digital Communication (M difference = 0.91) had the highest significant mean improvement; closely followed was Clarity in Online Expression (M difference = 0.89). The observed variations were statistically significant since all p-values were less than 0.05. These results suggest that in EFL environments, the Talking Stick model efficiently supports several aspects of digital communication. This study concludes that the Talking Stick learning model effectively enhances EFL students' digital communicative competence, improving key areas such as confidence, clarity, appropriateness, and engagement in online communication.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the important role of first-time voters in shaping democracy, who often face limitations in information and understanding of the election process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of political literacy conducted by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Samarinda City in increasing the participation of first-time voters through Instagram. The study employs a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that KPU Samarinda has implemented various political literacy programs, including outreach in schools, utilization of Instagram, and democracy training for youth. However, challenges such as low political interest among young voters and limited resources remain obstacles. In conclusion, the political literacy efforts by KPU positively contribute to raising awareness and participation of first-time voters, though strengthening strategies and cross-sector collaboration are needed for more optimal outcomes.
