Abstract

Pemilihan metode penyambungan tulangan untuk perkuatan struktur kolom merupakan suatu keputusan yang penting karena mempengaruhi biaya, waktu dan kualitas konstruksi. Ada beberapa macam metode yang telah berkembang dari metode konvensional diantaranya metode coupler dan welding. Metode coupler adalah penyambungan mechanical splice yang menyambungkan kedua ujung tulangan dengan pembuatan ulir atau pengepresan ujung tulangan, sedangkan welding adalah proses menyatukan dua logam atau lebih menjadi bentuk sambungan menggunakan proses panas, pencairan dengan elekroda atau filler. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Proyek Revitalisasi Pusat Kesenian Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki. Proyek ini memiliki permasalahan pada metode penyambungan tulangan kolom pada basement 1 ke lantai 1 karena adanya strutting dinding penahan tanah. Jadi dibutuhkan metode tambahan untuk penyambungan tulangan kolomnya. Metode yang digunakan pada pelaksanaan proyek adalah metode coupler, pada penelitian ini akan dihitung berapa biaya dan waktu jika digunakan metode welding. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghitung biaya dan waktu dengan penerapan metode coupler dan welding pada Proyek Revitalisasi Pusat Kesenian Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa biaya pekerjaan kolom dengan metode coupler sebesar Rp. 2.496.157.849,00 dengan waktu pelaksanaan 81 hari. Sedangkan biaya metode welding sebesar Rp. 2.529.332.648,00 dengan waktu 83 hari. Penerapan metode coupler 3,8 % lebih murah dan 2 hari lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan metode welding.

Abstract

Panti asuhan Yaumiddin merupakan lembaga sosial yang mendidik dan memelihara yatim piatu dan anak yang kurang beruntung di Kota Balikpapan. Keberlangsungan kegiatan di panti asuhan erat hubungannya dengan ketersediaan air bersih. Saat ini ketersediaan air bersih di panti asuhan masih kurang baik dikarenakan secara visual air yang digunakan terlihat keruh. Dengan fokus pada ketersediaan air bersih yang berkualitas, pengabdian ini mengidentifikasi, melakukan pemasangan, dan pemeliharaan infrastruktur pipa serta sistem filtrasi air yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan panti asuhan. Perbaikan dan infrastruktur aliran air yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan debit air yang mengalir menjadi 0,3 liter/detik. Hasil pembuatan filtrasi air berhasil meningkatkan kualitas air yang tersedia dengan adanya perbaikan nilai pH yang mendekati netral (7), penurunan nilai pada uji kekeruhan dari 0,994 menjadi 0,126 NTU serta penurunan padatan yang terlarut (uji TSS) dari 178 menjadi 29 ppm.  Kegiatan terakhir adalah melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai prosedur pemeliharaan sistem filtrasi air. Implementasi infrastruktur pipa dan sistem filtrasi air secara efektif meningkatkan akses terhadap air bersih, meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan penghuni panti asuhan, serta mengurangi risiko terpapar penyakit akibat konsumsi air yang tercemar.

Abstract

Beberapa daerah di Kota Makassar memiliki ancaman bencana banjir yang tinggi karena curah hujan di Indonesia tiap tahunnya cukup tinggi, salah satunya adalah Kecamatan Tamalanrea, Kelurahan Tamalanrea Jaya, Perintis Kemerdekaan III. Bencana banjir disebabkan berbagai faktor antara lain, sampah, limbah lokal dan kondisi lingkungan. Bencana banjir dapat terjadi akibat volume air yang berada di sungai melebihi badan sungai dan mengirim sampah sampai pada pemukiman warga, tampak beberapa akses jalan dan saluran drainase yang berada pada perumahan ini mengalami kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh sampah yang menumpuk sehingga air tergenang tinggi yang merusak bahu selokan. Tujuan penelitian merancang alat prototype pendeteksi saluran tersumbat guna untuk mempermudah masyarakat memonitoring untuk melakukan penanganan dengan cepat dan siap. Metode penelitian eksperimen dan pengembangan pada umumnya digunakan dalam penelitian yang bersifat laboratoris. Namun, bukan berarti bahwa pendekatan ini tidak dapat digunakan dalam penelitian sosial, termasuk penelitian pendidikan. Penelitian eksperimen mendasarkan pada paradigma positivistik diterapkan pada penelitian ilmu-ilmu keras (hard-science), seperti biologi dan Fisika, yang kemudian diadopsi untuk diterapkan pada bidang sosial, pendidikan dan bidang-bidang lain. Hasil Penelitian sistem kerja alat ini dimulai dengan menyambungkan wifi pada esp8266 agar keselurahan sensor dapat mulai bekerja dari membaca data hasil yang normal maupun tidak normal yang akan dikelola pada esp8266 dan dikirim ke komponen alarm dan serial monitoring aplikasi blynk. Kesimpulan dari penilitian ini yaitu, dari sekian uji coba kelayakan sistem sofware sudah baik dan secara fisik prototipe sudah hampir memenuhi skala dari ukuran selokan/drainase pada umumnya, besar kemungkinan sudah dapat di uji coba secara nyata pada selokan pemukiman.

Abstract

Problems found in the field are lack of student time discipline, untidy clothing, ignorance of prayers, inappropriate use of speech, lack of proper lip service. This study aims to describe the types of Islamic character-based education programs in religious extracurricular activities, explain these activities carried out, and describe the results of Islamic character-based education for students participating in this activity. Descriptive method is used with a qualitative approach. Data informants are advisors on religious extracurricular activities, principals, deputy heads of student affairs, trainers and students. Data were collected through observation, and interviews, and analyzed through descriptive analysis techniques, and validity testing with data triangulation techniques. The research findings are: type of Islamic character-based education program in extracurricular religious activities is part of a religious activity program, the methods and materials used contain Islamic characters, Islamic character-based education is carried out outside hours of curricular activities with a specified time each week, with material developed from Islamic Religion, developed with relevant methods and supported by existing facilities; and religious activities are able to educate the Islamic character of students. Abstract

In educational institutions, the main human resource is the teacher. Teachers play a vital role as they are directly involved in the teaching-learning process and the development of learners' potential. Teacher performance affects the quality of learning provided to students. To improve teacher performance, training is required. Training is an acronym for education and training. The purpose of this article is to describe the benefits of interactive training in making media for junior high school teachers. This finding uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The initial data obtained were 34 articles on the benefits of training in 2020-2024. After going through a screening process based on criteria, 19 articles were discarded, because they did not have a Sinta database. The results of the article screening showed that there were 15 articles that were analyzed. The results show that training in making interactive media is beneficial and has a positive impact on teachers at the junior high school level. The training not only increases teachers' knowledge and skills, but also their motivation and creativity in teaching.

Abstract

One element of education is teaching in schools, and many current educational problems arise from these elements, starting from the curriculum, the way lessons are delivered, to the condition and quality of teaching teachers. Even though there are many theories about teaching, these methods always experience obstacles in practice. One of them is student boredom in learning because learning methods and learning places tend to bore students. Educational technology seeks to solve and/or facilitate the solving of lifelong human learning problems, where, when, how, and by anyone. Learning problems can be found at home, at school, in places of worship, at work, and in society. By developing one of the principles of educational technology "learning can be anywhere", teachers in the classroom and parents at home can use any means.

Abstract

The background of this study examines the overlapping authority in determining forest areas and its implications for the legal protection of ownership of Land Ownership Certificates (SHM). This study found that overlapping authority occurred due to the absence of confirmation of forest area boundaries and systematic spatial planning, thus triggering conflict between communities that own SHM and forestry policies. The state has an obligation to protect community rights, including land rights as evidenced by SHM. The purpose of the study is to answer two things, first, to find out clarity about the factors that cause overlapping in determining forest areas in the Forestry Law, by analyzing the problems that arise from existing provisions. Second, the study looks at the form of legal protection provided by the state to the community in dealing with the problem of overlapping determination of forest areas in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The type of this research is sociological legal research or Sociolegal studies. The research was conducted in the East Kalimantan Province, (East Kalimantan Province Environmental and Forestry Service, and the East Kalimantan Province Agrarian Spatial Planning Office/National Land Agency). The focus of this research was conducted in Sepati Village, Anggana District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research will use selected respondents (purposive sampling) within the Kutai Kartanegara Regency in the area around the forestry cultivation area, namely Village Heads and Community Leaders. Specifically for respondents, researchers will conduct an interview process (deep-interview) including the use of snow-ball techniques with respondents who have a structured information network. The results of this study conclude that resolving overlapping authorities requires a comprehensive approach involving all related parties. The steps taken are comprehensive spatial planning, land dispute resolution, confirmation of forest area boundaries, strict law enforcement, strengthening institutions and non-litigation resolution.

Abstract

There is a needs analysis of low teacher performance. This research aims to analyze school management models to improve elementary school teacher performance. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, development is carried out referring to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this research is elementary school teachers. The subjects in this research were 74 teachers. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. Data analysis techniques with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the validity data analysis test show that the school management model developed is valid for use. The results of calculating data on attractiveness, convenience and usefulness obtained an average value of 88.35 with very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the management model developed can be seen from the average N-Gain score with medium criteria and the t test shows there is a significant difference in teacher performance. The research conclusion is that the school management model developed is valid and practical to use and effective in improving the performance of elementary school teachers. The implications of this research are that management models can facilitate teachers in improving performance.

Abstract

Learning in schools still emphasizes basic level thinking skills. Learning still has not improved the higher-order thinking skills of students, and often uses teacher-centered learning. This causes the low creative thinking ability of students. This study aims to analyze the effect of project-based learning models on students' creative thinking skills. This research method is a quasi-experimental group design with a non-equivalent control group design used. The population is 50 people and the sample used is class IV A and IV B students, the sample is determined by non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected using pretest, posttest, and observation techniques. The results of this study are that there is a significant effect on project-based learning on the creative thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. Through the Project Based Learning model, students learn from their experiences and then apply them in everyday life. This learning model is expected to be able to improve students' creative thinking skills to construct their knowledge by being actively involved in complex learning processes.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah lanskap ekonomi global, menuntut tenaga kerja yang memiliki keterampilan tinggi dalam bidang sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika (STEM). Namun, kesenjangan antara kurikulum pendidikan dan kebutuhan industri digital masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam menciptakan lulusan yang siap kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendidikan STEM dalam mempersiapkan tenaga kerja untuk ekonomi digital serta mengidentifikasi solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan dengan kebutuhan industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed methods dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap mahasiswa, dosen, dan praktisi industri, serta pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya 40% responden yang menilai kurikulum pendidikan STEM sudah relevan dengan kebutuhan industri, sementara 55% lulusan merasa kurang siap memasuki dunia kerja digital. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran juga belum optimal, di mana hanya 60% institusi yang telah menggunakan teknologi digital, namun masih terbatas pada alat dasar. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan dan industri masih rendah, dengan hanya 35% responden yang menyatakan adanya kerja sama yang memadai. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan reformasi kurikulum berbasis proyek, peningkatan pengalaman praktis melalui magang dan bootcamp industri, optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran STEM, serta penguatan kerja sama antara akademisi dan industri dalam pengembangan keterampilan digital. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan pendidikan STEM dapat lebih efektif dalam mencetak tenaga kerja yang siap bersaing di era ekonomi digital
