Abstract

Perubahan iklim merupakan berubahnya suhu rata-rata permukaan bumi yang diakibatkan oleh pelepasan gas rumah kaca dengan jumlah besar yang tertangkap di atmosfer. Sampah merupakan salah satu penyumbang emisi terbesar dari gas metana (CH4) yang dihasilkan akibat tumpukan sampah terbuka dan sampah yang dibakar juga akan menghasilkan gas karbondioksida (CO2). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi program ekobrik dalam kegiatan Kampus Mengajar di SDN 1 Pecangaan sebagai upaya edukatif dalam mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan stakeholder internal (kepala sekolah dan guru) serta eksternal (PT Marimas) berperan penting dalam pelaksanaan program, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan teknis dan waktu. Kegiatan ekobrik berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah plastik serta mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim dalam skala mikro. Namun, belum adanya kejelasan mengenai keberlanjutan program menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi lintas sektor dan integrasi program ke dalam kurikulum sebagai strategi untuk menjamin keberlanjutan dan efektivitas pendidikan lingkungan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms and factors of bullying, strategies for overcoming bullying and deepening the understanding of students at SDN 1 Sowanlor regarding the dangers of bullying. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that children with special needs who are categorized as slow learners, dyslexics and dysgraphia are victims of bullying. The forms of bullying experienced include verbal and physical bullying which are influenced by environmental factors and family conditions. To overcome this problem, researchers conducted a psychoeducation program using posters and powerpoint media about bullying. This program contributed significantly to fostering empathy and increasing students' awareness of the importance of mutual respect and stopping bullying behavior in the school environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive impact of the traditional game of kasti on the social interactions of students at SDN 4 Kedungcino. The type of research used is qualitative research using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research sources consisted of sports teachers and student representatives from SDN 4 Kedungcino. Checking the validity of data with credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and verification conclusions. Based on the results of the researcher's analysis, it can be said that the traditional game of Kasti has a positive impact on students, therefore the traditional game of Kasti must be preserved and cultivated among children today.

Abstract

Kreativitas sebagai salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dimiliki siswa di era globalisasi dalam dunia ekonomi. Kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kreatif serta inovatif sangat dibutuhkan. Model pembelajaran role playing dapat menjadi wadah bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi ide yang baru dan mengembangkan solusi kreatif dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan ekonomi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Sukosono yang berjumlah 18 siswa mengunakan jenis sample jenuh, karena relatif sedikit jumlah siswanya. Penelitian akan mengkaji sejauh mana model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pemahaman. Peran aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa terutama dalam mata pelajaran IPS materi kegiatan ekonomi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri dari 20 butir soal dan dinyatakan valid. Soal tersebut telah diuji menggunakan SPSS versi 22.00 hasil menunjukkan uji reabilitas diukur menggunakan Cronbach's Alpha 0.924, uji normalitas berdistribusi normal berdasar uji Shapiro-Wilk nilai signifikan pretest 0.168 dan posttest 0.157, uji homogenitas nilai signifikansi 0.451 nilai sig >0.05, dilanjutkan uji sample T test dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (P< 0.05) sehingga nilai pretest dan posttest yang telah diberikan kepada siswa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Model pembelajaran role playing memungkinkan siswa untuk berperan sebagai pelaku ekonomi dalam situasi nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam memahami kegiatan ekonomi pasar di SDN 1 Sukosono. Dengan siswa berperan sebagai produsen, konsumen, atau pedagang, siswa diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam berkomunikasi, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara efektif.

Abstract

Keterampikan perpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran IPAS masih tergolong rendah akibat dominasi pembelajaran konvesional yang berpusat pada hafalan konsep. Materi Energi dan Sumbernya menuntut kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan pemecahan masalah sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dan interdispliner. Pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, dan Mathematics (STEM) diyakini mampu menfasilitasi pengembangan keterampilan tersebut melalui kegiatan investigasif dan berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan STEM terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Mayongkidul. Penelitian memnggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desaon pra-eksperimental tipe one-group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 31 peserta didik. Instrumen berupa 20 soal pilihan ganda yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif level C4 (menganalisis), C5 (mengevaluasi), C6 (mencipta). Data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, serta perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil menunjukan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dan peningkatan kemampuan pada kategori sedang dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,5503. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa pendekatan STEM efektif meningkatkan ketereampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Olehkarene itu pendekatan STEM direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran IPAS untuk mendukung pengembengan keterampilan berpikir Tingkat tinggi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This development research was conducted due to students difficulties inunderstanding the material on parts of plants during the learning process, whichled to low learning outcomes. The aim of this study was to develop a Pop-Up Bookmedia to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in science,specifically in the topic of plant parts.The research employed the Research andDevelopment (R&D) method, focusing on the development of Pop-Up Book media.The Pop-Up Book was specifically designed for sixth-grade elementary schoolstudents. The research was limited to six stages of development: (1) needsanalysis, (2) planning, (3) initial product development, (4) field testing, (5) finalproduct revision, and (6) implementation.The study involved 22 sixth-gradestudents at SDN 3 Krapyak, Jepara. Media validation was conducted by two mediaexperts and one subject matter expert. The validation results showed that MediaExpert 1 gave a feasibility score of 82%, Media Expert 2 gave 90%, and theSubject Matter Expert gave 82%, indicating that the Pop-Up Book media is highlyfeasible for use in teaching.The students’ average pre-test score was 67.35, whilethe average post-test score was 81.77. A paired sample t-test was used toexamine the effectiveness of the media, resulting in a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05). This indicates a significant difference in student learningoutcomes before and after using the Pop-Up Book media.In conclusion, the use ofthe Pop-Up Book media significantly improved students learning outcomes in thetopic of plant partsKeywords: Media pop up book, Hasil belajar, IPA.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential 21st-century competencies that students must master. However, the results of PISA 2022 show that Indonesian students scored only 383 in science, far below the OECD average of 489, indicating weak analytical and problem-solving abilities. This study was motivated by persistent challenges in developing critical thinking skills among Indonesian elementary students, as indicated by consistently low PISA scores. It investigates the effectiveness of integrating the Guided Inquiry learning model with flashcards to enhance fourth-grade students' critical thinking skills, specifically regarding the abstract topic of force in science. Employing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest method, the research involved 30 purposively selected students from SD Negeri 3 Kalipucangkulon. Data were collected through critical thinking skill tests and analyzed using the Paired Samples T-Test, Cohen's d for effect size, and supported by the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The results revealed a statistically significant and substantial improvement: the mean pretest score of 51.0 (SD=15.11) increased to 77.1 (SD=5.00) in the posttest, with a mean difference of 26.1 points. Statistical analysis confirmed a highly significant difference (t(29) = -11.0, p < 0.001) and a very large effect size (Cohen's d = 2.01). These findings demonstrate that the synergistic combination of Guided Inquiry's investigative framework and the concrete, engaging nature of flashcard media is highly effective in fostering students' analytical, evaluative, and inferential skills. The study concludes that this integrated strategy offers a practical and impactful approach to creating interactive, higher-order thinking-oriented science learning in elementary schools, addressing a crucial gap in 21st-century science education. The limitations of this study, particularly the lack of a control group, highlight the necessity for subsequent research employing more rigorous designs.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the dominant use of conventional teaching methods, which makes butterfly metamorphosis material difficult for students to understand and results in low creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to develop a diorama learning media on butterfly metamorphosis and to examine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving elementary school students' creative thinking skills. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects were 34 third-grade students of SDN 1 Pengkol Jepara. Data collection techniques included interviews, expert validation questionnaires, student responses, and pretest-posttest. The results showed that the diorama media was categorized as highly feasible by media experts (average score of 9.6) and feasible to highly feasible by material experts. Student responses also indicated a very feasible category. Effectiveness testing showed an increase in creative thinking skills with an average score of 80.5. The data were normally distributed and homogeneous, and the paired sample t-test result (0.000) indicated a significant positive difference. Therefore, the developed diorama media is proven effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan media Mystery Box guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini berawal dari temuan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih tergolong rendah, serta model dan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum sepenuhnya mampu menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) dengan dukungan media Mystery Box terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi perubahan wujud benda di kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Lebak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental melalui pola One-Group Pre-test and Post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di sekolah tersebut, yang berjumlah 43 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara total sampling, di mana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar observasi dan alat tes. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan uji paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh model SAVI terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 45,2 menjadi 68,3 pada posttest. Uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai t = -13,6 dengan tingkat signifikansi p < 0,001. Selisih rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest sebesar -23,9 poin dengan interval kepercayaan 95% berada pada rentang -26,4 hingga -19,4. Nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 2,07 mengindikasikan bahwa pengaruh model SAVI tergolong besar terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Prompted by the unsatisfactory academic performance of students regarding the abstract principles of force, this research aimed to evaluate the shifts in learning mastery following the integration of Augmented Reality-enhanced Discovery Learning. A quantitative methodology was adopted, utilizing a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest framework centered on 32 fourth-grade pupils. The primary data, derived from pre- and post-intervention evaluations, underwent rigorous analysis through a Paired Sample t-Test to determine the efficacy of the instructional tool. The results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores with t(31) = -14.3, p < 0.001, as well as a Cohen’s d effect size of -2.53, indicating a large effect size. The students’ average scores increased from 63.7 to 87.0. These findings indicate an improvement in learning outcomes following the intervention. The implications of this study point to the need for further research using a design that includes a control group to strengthen the validity of the findings.
