Abstract

Abstract: The level of literacy culture in Indonesia is still very low. In response to this problem, efforts are needed to increase reading interest. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of digital comic media on the reading interest of grade 4 students of SDN 2 Kedung Jepara. By applying quantitative methods and pre-experimental design One Group Pretest-Posttest, this study involved 27 students as subjects. Data obtained through a questionnaire covering 16 statements that have been tested for validity and reliability. This study shows that before the treatment, students' reading interest was in the fairly strong category with a score of 52%, while after the application of digital comic media, the score increased to 84% and was in the very strong category. The Paired Sample T-test identified a significance level of 0.000, which indicates a significant influence of the use of digital comics in increasing students' reading interest. The findings in question indicate that digital comic media has the potential as a means to increase students' reading interest, so it is expected to be applied in a wider scope in learning activities in the school environment.Keywords: Digital Comic Media, Reading InterestAbstrak: Tingkat budaya literasi di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Menanggapi permasalahan ini, perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan minat baca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas media komik digital terhadap minat baca siswa kelas 4 SDN 2 Kedung Jepara. Dengan menerapkan metode kuantitatif dan desain pre-eksperimental One Group Pretest-Posttest, penelitian ini melibatkan 27 siswa sebagai subjek. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner mencakup 16 pernyataan yang telah diuji untuk validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebelum perlakuan, minat baca siswa berada pada kategori cukup kuat dengan skor 52%, sedangkan setelah penerapan media komik digital, skor meningkat menjadi 84% dan berada pada kategori sangat kuat. Uji Paired Sample T-test mengidentifikasi tingkat signifikat 0,000, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari pemanfaatan komik digital dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan minat baca siswa. Temuan yang dimaksud menunjukkan media komik digital memiliki potensi sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa, sehingga diharapkan dapat diterapkan dalam cakupan yang lebih luas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dilingkungan sekolah.Kata Kunci: Media Komik Digital, Minat Baca

Abstract

The change of curriculum to the Independent Curriculum requires learning innovation, especially in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subject at the elementary school level. This study aims to analyze the application of the fun learning method as a strategy to improve PPKn learning outcomes in grade 1 students at SD Negeri 6 Ngabul. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a naturalistic research style, data were collected through in-depth interviews with selected respondents to ensure the validity and accuracy of the data in natural learning conditions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the fun learning method, which is in line with the P5 flagship program in the Independent Curriculum, succeeded in changing the learning climate to be more optimal. The classroom atmosphere became more lively, marked by the enthusiasm and interest in learning of students which increased significantly during PPKn lessons. This enthusiastic attitude has a direct positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. It is concluded that fun learning is an effective strategy that has succeeded in increasing student engagement and achievement. This study recommends that educators continue to demonstrate professionalism by adopting innovative and skilled learning models, and opening up opportunities for other researchers to develop similar case studies in the future. ABSTRAK  Perubahan kurikulum menjadi Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut adanya inovasi pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode pembelajaran fun learning sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn pada siswa kelas 1 di SD Negeri 6 Ngabul. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan corak penelitian naturalistik, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan responden terpilih untuk memastikan validitas dan kebenaran data dalam kondisi pembelajaran yang alamiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode fun learning, yang sejalan dengan program unggulan P5 dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, berhasil mengubah iklim pembelajaran menjadi lebih optimal. Atmosfer kelas menjadi lebih hidup, ditandai dengan antusiasme dan minat belajar siswa yang meningkat secara signifikan selama pelajaran PPKn. Sikap antusias ini berdampak positif secara langsung terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa fun learning merupakan strategi efektif yang berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pencapaian siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar para pendidik terus menunjukkan profesionalisme dengan mengadopsi model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan terampil, serta membuka peluang bagi peneliti lain untuk mengembangkan studi kasus serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of augmented reality-based card media on grade 6 IPAS material. This study uses the research and development method with the ADDIE model. The research was conducted on grade 6 students of MI Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo Jepara. The results showed that the development of augmented reality-based educational card media was carried out using the ADDIE method. The analyze stage is carried out by analyzing the need for the use of innovative and interactive media in IPAS learning. The design stage is carried out by planning the application that will be utilized in making augmented reality media and prototype design. The development stage is carried out by making applications using assembler studio software and conducting validation tests. The implementation stage is carried out by testing the 6th grade students of MI Mathalibul Huda. The evaluation stage produces findings that do not need revision. The results of the development of augmented reality-based educational card media can be said to be very feasible and there is no need for revision based on a score of 94% from material expert validation, 93% from media expert validation and 90% from end user trials (students). Thus the development of augmented reality-based card media is declared very feasible and does not need revision.

Abstract

Many teachers have not implemented the use of digital media, there are many digital media that can be used to support students' critical thinking skills, one of which is the use of flipbook media. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of flipbook media in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. This study uses a mixed method approach that combines quantitative data from pretests and posttests as well as qualitative data from learning observations and interviews with teachers. The results showed that the use of flipbooks significantly improved students' critical thinking skills, especially in terms of analyzing information and drawing logical conclusions. In addition, students also showed increased involvement in the learning process and a deeper understanding of IPAS concepts. Although some technical obstacles were found in the implementation, flipbooks have proven to be an effective and innovative learning medium. Therefore, its use is recommended to be integrated into IPAS learning in elementary schools to support the continuous improvement of critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study examines the role of teachers in forming the Pancasila Student Profile, with a focus on the dimension of cooperation (gotong royong) in elementary schools. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis at SD Negeri 4 Ujungpandan. The primary aim of the study is to describe how teachers serve as change agents and moral exemplars in instilling the value of cooperation while fostering positive character development among students. Findings indicate that the implementation of cooperative learning methods, such as group discussions, and thematic projects, significantly enhances active participation, empathy, and collaboration among students. Teachers who create interactive classroom environments and apply systematic evaluations using rubrics and regular reflective sessions are proven to optimize the development of social character and collective responsibility. On the other hand, the study identifies challenges such as individual differences among students and the influence of advanced technology that tends to promote solitary learning. Furthermore, inadequate support facilities are noted as obstacles in executing cooperative learning. These findings emphasize that innovative pedagogical strategies and adaptive internal policies are crucial for integrating the value of gotong royong into teaching practice. The practical recommendations are expected to guide educators and policymakers in strengthening the role of teachers as mediators between theory and practice, thereby cultivating a generation of students who excel academically while embodying strong communal values and solidarity. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji peran guru dalam pembentukan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dengan fokus pada dimensi gotong royong di sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi pada SD Negeri 4 Ujungpandan. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana guru berperan sebagai agen perubahan dan teladan moral dalam menanamkan nilai gotong royong serta mengembangkan karakter positif di antara siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif, seperti diskusi kelompok dan proyek tematik, secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, empati, dan kolaborasi antarsiswa. Guru yang menciptakan lingkungan kelas interaktif dan menerapkan evaluasi sistematis melalui rubrik serta sesi refleksi rutin terbukti berhasil mengoptimalkan perkembangan karakter sosial dan tanggung jawab kolektif. Di sisi lain, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan berupa perbedaan kemampuan individual siswa dan pengaruh kemajuan teknologi yang cenderung mendorong pembelajaran secara individual. Selain itu, keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung juga menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif. Temuan tersebut menekankan bahwa inovasi pedagogis dan kebijakan internal yang adaptif sangat diperlukan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai gotong royong ke dalam strategi pengajaran. Rekomendasi praktis yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam memperkuat peran guru sebagai mediator antara teori dan praktik, sehingga terbentuk generasi pelajar yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki karakter kebersamaan dan solidaritas yang kokoh.

Abstract

Having high level human resources that globally competitive is very important in this era of constant changes. The limited use of concrete media contributes to the decline of efficiency, creativity, and involvement in the classes. The purpose of this research is to assess the feasibility and efficiency of various learning media. The ADDIE R&D model is used in this study. The results of the validation test by material and media experts shows a score of 33 out of 40 or 82.5%, which means that this product is "very feasible". The learning expert gives it a score of 38 out of 40 or 95%, which also indicates that the product is "very feasible". The effectiveness test conducted by pretest and posttest shows an increase of 51.6 points, and the questionnaire given to students shows product usability of 90.5%, which means this product is "very feasible". The observation of Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project shows that the character of student profile improves from level 2 to level 4. Based on the research result, the “Detective Air” (Water Detective) media can optimally improve learning and can be a reference in facilitating learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the STEM-based Discovery Learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills in fraction material in the context of Islamic education. This kind of study is a mixed-method quantitative experiment with a sequential explanatory design. This study involved 4th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Karanggondang. The instruments used were tests and interviews. The results of the statistical analysis showed that the application of this model resulted in a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills, with a large effect on the aspects of concept analysis and evaluation. The implications of this study confirm that the STEM-based Discovery Learning model is not only effective in improving cognitive skills but is also in line with Islamic values ​​that encourage curiosity, problem solving, and critical reflection. The benefit of this study for elementary education, especially in Islamic education, is in the potential of this model to help shape the critical thinking skills needed to face modern challenges. This model offers an innovative approach that aligns with the Islamic curriculum, enabling students to connect scientific concepts with Islamic values ​​holistically.

Abstract

Abstract The purpoose of this study was to evaluate the impact of Wordwall media on science learning outcomes (IPAS) for the topic "Style" in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 1 Tahunan. Thirty students participated in this study, which used a one-group pree-test poost-test model with an experimental design and quantitative techniques. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered as part of the data collection process, and SPSS version 26 was used for analysis. Instrument validity and reliability tests, preerequisite tests such as normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with paired sample t-tests were the data analysis procedures. The alternatiive hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected because the t-test results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. Based on these results, it can be said that Wordwall media is useful for improoving student learning outcomes and can be used as an alternative interactiive learning media to improve understanding of IPAS material. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar IPA (IPAS) untuk topik "Gaya" di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Tahunan. Tiga puluh siswa menjadi partisipan penelitian ini, yang menggunakan model pra-tes pasca-tes satu kelompok dengan desain eksperimen dan teknik kuantitatif. Pra-tes dan pasca-tes diberikan sebagai bagian dari proses pengumpulan data, dan SPSS versi 26 digunakan untuk analisis. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, uji prasyarat seperti uji normalitas dan homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis dengan uji-t sampel berpasangan merupakan prosedur analisis data. Hipotesis alternatif (Hₐ) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak karena hasil uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan postest, dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa media Wordwall bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi IPAS.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana program kampus mengajar dilaksanakan dalam Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS), manfaat dan tantangan yang dihadapi, dan bagaimana program kampus mengajar berdampak pada peningkatan literasi dan minat baca siswa di SDN 3 Bakalan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Untuk mengumpulkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Kemampuan literasi siswa meningkat, menurut hasil penelitian ini. Hasil Pre-AKM Literasi 51% dan Post-AKM Literasi 55% di portal MBKM menunjukkan peningkatan minat baca siswa 2,9 persen.

Abstract

Science literacy skills involve the application of science, the ability to recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions through existing data that need to be instilled since elementary school. Guided inquiry is an alternative learning approach that has proven effective in encouraging students' science literacy, especially in studying the topic of the solar system. This study examines the effect of guided inquiry assisted by augmented reality flashcards to encourage the improvement of science literacy in students at the primary education level. This research design applies a pre-experimental one-group pre-test-post-test because there is only one rombel at SDN 02 Kedung Jepara, with 24 grade VI students as samples. Research instruments in the form of pre-test and post-test using 16 multiple choice questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the Paired Samples T-Test test, there is a significant difference in pretest and posttest scores, indicated by an average value of -21.61458 and the acquisition of significance results (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000.
