Abstract

This study aims to investigate the improvement of cognitive abilities in early childhood by utilizing the educational game "Word Box." The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including Documentation, Interviews, and Observations. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the utilization of the educational game "Word Box" has a positive impact on the cognitive development of children through their interaction with the game. There is a significant improvement in cognitive aspects, such as memory skills, understanding, and language usage in children.

Abstract

Internalisasi nilai-nilai kewirausahaan pada anak prasekolah penting untuk membentuk karakter dan mengembangkan keterampilan sebagai fondasi yang dibutuhkan di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik yang diberi judul “Gen Alpha Jago Bisnis” melalui R&D model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Partisipan terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan anak prasekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kewirausahaan bagi anak prasekolah berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media dan guru. Sementara itu, pengetahuan dan sikap anak pada saat menggunakan komik berada pada kategori tinggi. Implikasi praktisnya komik ini dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk membantu guru dan orang tua mempelajari nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami. Hal ini akan mengajarkan anak-anak untuk menjadi kreatif, mandiri, mampu membuat keputusan, dan mampu memecahkan masalah sejak dini. Anak-anak juga belajar keterampilan hidup penting lainnya yang berguna untuk masa depan mereka.

Abstract

This research on the implementation of ethnoparenting has a crucial urgency in the uniqueness that exists in the archipelago. This study raises an interesting issue regarding the upbringing applied by the Baduy culture to children with the customary belief system adopted. Cultural values ​​that are in the area of ​​the Baduy-Lebak Banten tribe have become a hereditary tradition that is realized by parents to children with local customs. The purpose of this study was to determine the application or application of parenting culture in the Baduy tribe. The research method uses a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach that is studied based on a description of the state of the nature or nature of the value of an object and certain symptoms. The results of the literature study reviewed by researchers describe the parenting applied by Baduy tribal parents implementing local cultural values ​​that have been carried out from generation to generation. This study illustrates that the application of parenting for early childhood in the Baduy Tribe still maintains the ancestral mandate, although the Outer Baduy has begun to adapt to the world of developments, the ancestral mandate is still maintained and preserved. Abstract

The rampant use of MSG in over-consumed foods can damage cells in children's brains. MSG can cause decreased brain function and can affect cognitive development, and nutritional balance. The purpose of the data analysis was conducted to determine the impact of MSG use on children's cognitive development. The analysis method involves a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using a bibliometric analysis approach of literature studies with the Publish or Perish application and Google Scholar as a data source with a duration of 2010-2023. After processing the article data by selecting a special topic on “the effect of MSG use on children's cognitive development”, 200 relevant articles were obtained for review from 200 articles from the initial search results. The results of the study were then compiled meta data VOSViewer application was used to create a visualization of research trends. The results showed that the classification of analysis on the effect of MSG use on children's cognitive development into 3 clusters. (red, blue, green). All data from these clusters show that the effect of MSG on children's cognitive development is still a problem that needs attention. Therefore, parents should be more careful in providing nutritional intake to their children.

Abstract

The alpha generation is children born between 2011-2025. Alpha generation children are very familiar with digital technology as if their lives cannot be separated from the internet or gadgets. Therefore, with the development of increasingly sophisticated and increasingly rapid technology, early childhood requires good care, supervision, and assistance from their parents while using gadgets. The purpose of this study was to find out how parents' role in using gadgets in the early childhood alpha generation. This research uses a literature study method from scientific articles, journals, books, and others previously conducted to answer this research. This study showed that parents are very important in children using their gadgets. For example, parents must accompany children when playing with their gadgets, maintain good communication withchildren, manage the time they use gadgets for children every day, and parents can use parental control applications to monitor children when using the internet. Abstract

Executive function such as working memory, inhibitory control, and cognitive flexibility is crucial for early learning, yet children with disabilities often face delays. Play-based interventions are increasingly recognized as effective strategies for supporting executive function in inclusive early childhood settings. Guided by PRISMA 2020, the researchers systematically reviewed studies published between 2016 and 2025. Of 50 initially identified studies, 30 met final inclusion criteria after screening and appraisal (JBI, CASP; inter-rater reliability confirmed with Cohen’s Kappa). Studies were coded into three categories: analog, digital, and hybrid play models. Twenty seven of 30 studies (90%) reported significant executive function gains. Analog models (n=14) enhanced inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility, and self-regulation through social structures and play rules. Digital models (n=13), such as serious games, computer-based cognitive games, and digital storytelling. Hybrid models (n=3) integrated scaffolding and digital mediation strengthened working memory, inhibitory control, and emotion regulation; AR-enhanced storybooks in Indonesia showed notable effects. Analog play ensures ecological validity, digital tools deliver structured cognitive demands, and hybrid approaches demonstrably integrate both strengths, yielding broader and more transferable executive function benefits. This review contributes a taxonomy of executive function focused play interventions and highlights their alignment with inclusive ECE reforms in Indonesia. Future research should pursue rigorous RCTs, longitudinal designs, and curriculum integration to evaluate sustainability and scalability.Keywords: executive function; play-based intervention; analog; digital; hybrid

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan warna bermain melalui aplikasi EduGame Tutup botol pada anak usia dini 3-4 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif partisipatif dengan menggunakan model observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara di TK putra 2 yang berjumlah 10 orang anak. Dari hasil penelitian penerapan bermain angka melalui aplikasi EduGame tutup botol dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak menyusun barisan warna hijau, ungu, merah, anak mengenal konsep dan warna, anak mampu mengenal soal warna hijau, ungu, merah, anak mampu membandingkan warna dari yang paling gelap dan yang paling terang, mampu mencocokan warna yang tidak sesuai pada barisan, dan anak mampu menaati aturan main game edukasi Edu Game tutup botol. Game tutup botol juga merupakan sebuah game yang dirancang untuk mendidik dan meningkatkan kemampuan anak anak dalam memecahkan masalah permasalahan Game ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan anak dalam memecahkan masalah logika dan meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengembangkan strategi.Kata Kunci: Peralatan bermain edukatif, Anak usia dini, Warna

Abstract

Teachers face challenges and have demands to innovate in integrating digital technology into learning activities in accordance with current technological developments. This research, thus, aims to determine teachers' readiness to use digital-based learning media through the "smart game" application. This research method used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach model through observation, interviews, and assessment instruments, with analysis techniques including triangulation data in assessing teacher readiness to use the "smart game" application as a digital learning medium. Based on this research, the results obtained revealed that teachers possessed sufficient knowledge in using and accessing technology and digital as simple learning media such as YouTube videos. However, in utilizing digital applications such as "smart games," teachers need to hone their skills again by exploring and developing learning materials to be delivered to students through "smart game" applications.

Abstract

Limited vocabulary can affect aspects of a child's language. The understanding of children aged 3-4 years reaches 900 words. The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of APE puppet theater in stimulating language aspects of children aged 3-4 years. The subjects in the research were children aged 3-4 years at TKIT Villa Madani TK-A with a total of 18 children, 9 boys and 9 girls. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative. The research uses data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The results obtained in the research describe the implementation of the APE puppet theater at TKIT Villa Madani, TK-A class, in the initial conditions, the language aspects of children aged 3-4 years were in good condition. After the children were given the APE puppet theater, the indicator of ability to understand language was rated quite well, there were 10 children, 6 children with a fairly good rating, 2 children with a very good rating. Meanwhile, the indicator for expressing language received a poor assessment by 1 child, a fairly good assessment was achieved by 9 children and a good assessment was achieved by 8 children. It can be concluded that (a) educational puppet theater games can stimulate the language aspects of children aged 3-4 years with good assessments. (b) the form of strategy used in educational puppet theater games is storytelling. (c) Puppet theater games can train language understanding and language expression in children aged 3-4 years. (d) gender can influence language stimulation in children aged 3-4 years. (e) the existing understanding of children aged 3-4 years can increase by approximately 500 understandings according to the stories played in the APE puppet theater. (e) during the learning process using the APE puppet theater, the children looked enthusiastic.

Abstract

Emosi adalah luapan emosi saat anak berinteraksi dengan orang lain dan social adalah tingkat interaksi antara anak dengan orang lain. Perkembangan sosial-emosional adalah kepekaan anak untuk memahami perasaan orang lain dalam interaksi sehari-hari. perkembangan sosial emosional, pada kenyataannya, tidak dapat dipisahkan. Oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk memahami anak dan membantu mereka memahami perasaan mereka sendiri dan perasaan orang lain. Metode yang di gunakan adalah metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang bertujuan untuk mengenali, meninjau, dan mengevaluasi semua penelitian yang relevan untuk menjawab pertanyaan suatu penelitian. Hasilnya perkembangan sosial-emosional dapat dikembangkan melalui metode bermain, terdapat beberapa permainan yang dapat mengembangkan sosial-emosional AUD usia 4-6 tahun yaitu: permainan congklak, ulartangga, bermain peran, permainan tradisional gopadi, dan puzzle.
