Abstract

The development of a culture of tolerance and peace at Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School is an important foundation in the life of the Indonesian nation and state based on Pancasila. Al-Zaytun, which has been established for 25 years, is committed to becoming an educational center that promotes tolerance and peace, by combining Indonesian traditions with modern education. This research aims to determine the culture of tolerance and peace in Al-Zaytun as the basis for national and state life based on Pancasila. The research method used is literature study, using an analytical description approach. The results show that Al-Zaytun is committed to developing student characters that reflect the values of Pancasila, by combining traditional and modern principles. In addition, education at Al-Zaytun also emphasizes the importance of tolerance, social justice, and national spirit, in line with national education goals. Thus, Al-Zaytun plays an important role in developing a culture of tolerance and peace and strengthening the values of Pancasila in society. Keywords: Tolerance, Peace, Pancasila, Ma'had Al-Zaytun

Abstract

The burden of each subject matter of faith in schools in the 2013 curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic is very heavy because learning for each subject matter is forced to achieve four indicators of competency (spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and skills). This condition is one of the backgrounds for the implementation of the 2022 prototype curriculum starting in the 2022-2023 school year. This study aims to identify and analyze differences in faith’s subject matter in the 2013 curriculum and the 2022 prototype curriculum. This research is library research with the main data sources "2013 curriculum policy" and "2022 prototype curriculum policy". By using content analysis, it has been found that the subject matter of faith in the 2013 curriculum is formulated based on the basic competence based on twelve classes. While the creed material in the 2022 prototype curriculum is formulated based on learning achievement based on six phases. Based on these differences, the subject matter of the 2022 prototype curriculum emphasizes the achievement of essential materials in each phase. Thus, the 2022 prototype curriculum can recover the problem of the burden of each subject matter of faith in schools in the 2013 curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: analysis of the impact of economic factors on parents with an interest in continuing their studies to college. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMA/K throughout Purworejo Regency for the Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is a population study, so that all students of class XII are randomly assigned with a total of 100 students as research samples. The research design used is Ex-Post Facto because in this study the data obtained are data from the results of events that have taken place. The variable in this study is the parents' economy (X) while the independent variable is the interest in continuing their studies to college (Y). The technique of collecting data for parents' economic status and interest in continuing their studies in higher education is done by using technical technical questionnaires. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the social status of students' parents and their interest in continuing their studies to class XII SMA/K in Purworejo district for the academic year 2021/2022 as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.285. There are many things that influence students' interest in continuing their studies to college, but this study only involved one independent variable, namely the socioeconomic status of parents. From this, it is realized that there are many other factors during the COVID-19 pandemic that affect interest in continuing their studies to college.

Abstract

Indonesia has large water energy potential, with 75,000-76 . 000 MW of air energy that can be utilized. One way to exploit this potential is with a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). PLTMH is a small-scale power plant that uses river water to produce electricity. This research aims to develop a PLTMH prototype in the Energy Conversion Laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Hasyim Asy'ari University. It is hoped that this prototype can help students understand better about PLTMH energy conversion. The research method used is research and development (R&D). The research results show that the PLTMH prototype developed has frame dimensions of 500 mm width, 1000 mm height and 1200 mm length. This prototype has been validated with results of 89% for functional tests and 100% for feasibility tests. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: The PLTMH prototype developed has been successfully created and can operate smoothly. The PLTMH prototype has been validated with excellent results, showing that this prototype meets the functional and feasibility criteria.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, have a strategic role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation based on Islamic values. However, in recent years, cases of sexual harassment and bullying in Islamic boarding schools have become a serious concern. Data from the National Commission on Violence Against Women (2021) shows more than 500 cases of sexual harassment in educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools. In addition, around 60% of students in Islamic boarding schools experience bullying in various forms (LPA, 2020). This phenomenon indicates the weakness of the leadership system in Islamic boarding schools in creating a safe environment. This study aims to analyze the application of transformational leadership in the program to prevent sexual harassment and bullying in Islamic boarding schools, with a focus on identifying supporting factors for success and developing an implementation model that can be adapted by other Islamic boarding schools. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study at the Mardhatillah Islamic Boarding School, Rancaekek, Bandung Regency. The research findings show four main aspects in the implementation of transformational leadership: empowerment of students through the formation of a Task Force, an integrated communication and supervision system, active collaboration with parents and the community, and a commitment to sustainable development. This program successfully created a culture of mutual respect and a safe environment for students. This study provides theoretical contributions in the development of a transformational leadership model for preventing violence in Islamic boarding schools and offers a model that can be applied in other Islamic boarding schools to address similar issues.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to apply artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to optimize the electricity distribution network, focusing on improving efficiency, responsiveness, and integration of renewable energy. Deep learning and reinforcement learning algorithms are used to learn energy load patterns and adjust distribution in real-time. Through simulation of the electricity distribution network, this research found a 15% increase in energy efficiency, a reduction in response time by 85%, a 10% increase in maximum load capacity, and a 25% increase in the use of renewable energy. Additionally, operational costs of the network decreased by 12% due to automation generated by AI. The innovation of this research lies in the efficient integration of renewable energy sources and load management through more accurate prediction. The research results show that applying AI in the electricity distribution network can provide an effective and sustainable solution to reduce power loss and operational costs, as well as support the use of renewable energy. Therefore, this research contributes to the development of a smarter and more environmentally friendly electricity distribution system.

Abstract

Dudukan motor stepper memiliki 3 axis yaitu axis X, axis Y dan axis Z. Desain yang digunakan untuk membuat dudukan menggunakan Autodesk Inventor 2017. Setiap dudukan memilki ukuran yang berbeda. Axis X panjang 179mm, lebar 77,5mm dan tebal 10mm. Axis Y panjang 118mm, lebar 58 mm dan tebal 10mm. Axis Z panjang 150mm, lebar 100mm dan tebal 10mm. Kinerja limit switch ME-8108 sama seperti pada saklar lampu ON/OFF yaitu hanya akan terhubung pada saat katupnya ditekan dan akan terputus saat katup tidak ditekan. Pada saat axis bergerak dan saat sumbu axis melewati garis yang ditentukan, maka saklar akan menekan dan axis akan otomatis berhenti. Pengembangan mesin ini menggunakan R&D (research and development). Mencari sumber dari studi literatur, membuat desain mesin frais CNC WMD-25VL,desain  dudukan motor stepper, merakit motor stepper yang dihubungkan pada axis dan merakit limit switch yang dihubungkan pada axis. Hasil pengembangan mesin frais WMD-25VL  ini telah bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsinya. Untuk uji fungsional hasil validasi telah di uji oleh tim validator mendapatkan 95%. Uji kelayakan hasil validasi telah di uji oleh tim validator mendapatkan 95%. Hasil rubrik alat kendali pengembangan alat  mesin frais CNC WMD-25VL bahwa mesin ini dikategorikan sangat baik.

Abstract

Pada proses pembubutan membutuhkan nilai kekasaran permukaan dan nilai kepresisian yang standar untuk mengevaluasi hasil produksi. Nilai kekasaran permukaan yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja komponen pasangan produk yang akan dihasilkannya. Faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai kekasaran permukaan pada proses pembubutan surface turning seperti kecepatan pemakanan (feeding) dan putaran spindle. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui optimasi kecepatan pemakanan (feeding) dan optimasi putaran spindle untuk menghasilkan nilai kekasaran permukaan terendah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental kuantitatif dengan pemaparan hasil penelitian. Pada proses pembuatan spesimennya dilakukan di SMK Diponegoro Ploso Jombang dan pengambilan data dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Malang. Untuk proses pembubutan surface turning material yang digunakan yaitu Besi S40C dengan variasi kecepatan pemakanan (feeding) yang digunakan ialah 0,15 mm/min; 0,25 mm/min; dan 0,35 mm/min, serta kecepatan spindle yang digunakan 1.450 Rpm dan 1.750 Rpm dilakukan di Mesin Bubut CNC Tipe Extra-420. Pengujian yang dilakukukan pada setiap spesimen menggunakan alat Surface Roughness Tester dan pengujian dilakukan pada seluruh spesimen. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental kuantitatif dengan pemaparan hasil penelitian. Pada proses pembuatan spesimennya dilakukan di SMK Diponegoro Ploso Jombang dan pengambilan data dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Malang. Abstract

Pengelasan adalah salah satu teknik penyambungan logam dengan cara mencairkan sebagian logam induk dan logam pengisi dengan atau tanpa tekanan dan dengan atau tanpa logam penambah dan menghasilkan sambungan yang continue. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh arus pengelasan dan jenis elektroda terhadap kekuatan tarik dengan variasi arus 85 A, 105 A, 125 A dan variasi jenis elektroda E6010 dan E6013. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode komperatif dengan melakukan uji T dan dibantu software SPSS 16. Hasil dari uji T menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh arus pengelasan terhadap uji tarik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.003 < 0.05 dan terdapat pengaruh dari jenis elektroda terhadap uji tarik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 serta nilai T hitung 5.592 > 2.131. Untuk hasil yang diperoleh dari uji F menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh arus pengelasan dan jenis elektroda secara simultan terhadap kekuatan tarik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 serta nilai F hitung 22.140 > 3.63.

Abstract

Sampah plastik yang sangat umum ditemui di lingkungan Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang yaitu plastik pembungkus suatu makanan atau minuman. Sampah plastik tersebut termasuk ke dalam plastik jenis LDPE dan PS. Konversi sampah plastik menjadi bahan bakar alternatif dilakukan melalui proses pirolisis. Pirolisis adalah proses dimana bahan diuraikan pada suhu tinggi tanpa adanya atau terbatasnya udara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil dari pengaruh variasi berat sampah plastik terhadap volume dan nilai kalor minyak pada proses pirolisis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimental, dalam metode ini menggunakan variasi perbandingan berat sampah plastik LDPE:PS yaitu: 100%:0%; 70%:30%; 50%:50%; 40%:60% dan 0%:100% dengan total berat sampah plastik sebesar 600 gram yang diolah menggunakan teknik komparasi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan proses pirolisis selama 120 menit dengan temperatur pembakaran 100 dan temperatur kondensor 10. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa variasi LDPE 0% : PS 100% menghasilkan  rata-rata volume minyak yang lebih banyak dibandingkan variasi lainnya sebesar 28,67 ml. Sedangkan variasi LDPE 100% : PS 0% menghasilkan rata-rata nilai kalor minyak yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan variasi lainnya 36197,75967  . Diketahui nilai (Sig.) untuk pengaruh variasi berat sampah plastik terhadap volume minyak pada proses pirolisis adalah 0,048 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan. Serta dapat diketahui nilai (Sig.) untuk pengaruh variasi berat sampah plastik terhadap nilai kalor minyak pada proses pirolisis adalah 0,742 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan.
