Abstract

Online learning is an alternative that can overcome the problem of disruption of the conventional learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. In online learning there are many obstacles faced by students or even lecturers. In online learning, the problem that is often faced by students is network problems. A bad network connection will affect the message or explanation of the material conveyed by the lecturer. With the disruption of the network, students often find it difficult to understand the explanation conveyed by the lecturer, because the sound that is heard tends to be less clear. Therefore, this study aims to explain in detail the impact of online learning on the understanding of FKIP Untirta students during the Covid-19 Pandemic. By using a descriptive qualitative approach in the form of observation. With the subject of observations of FETT Untirta students. The discussion is focused on the impact that online learning has on students' understanding of the material. The results of this research show the effect of online learning on students' understanding of material, the problems faced by students and the obstacles in doing online learning. George Hebert Mead explained that social interaction can work if there is an exchange of symbols which later creates a meaning that can create an interaction, including online communication. Where in online communication there must also be an exchange of symbols which later the symbol also forms a meaning.

Abstract

Peningkatan aktivitas di internet selama masa pandemi berpengaruh terhadap maraknya kasus Kekerasan Gender Berbasis Online (KGBO), Kehadiran Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) menjadi sangat penting ditengah problematika KGBO yang semakin meningkat. Pemenuhan dan penanaman nilai menjadi instrumen penting untuk menopang sikap-sikap positif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, studi literatur, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan upaya yang dilakukan diantaranya melalui penanaman nilai karakter melalui kegiatan Pesantren Kilat yang diikuti oleh seluruh siswa, tanpa terkecuali siswa di luar pemeluk agama islam dengan muatan materi disesuaikan dengan agamanya. Selain itu, terdapat pembatasan pada wifi sekolah untuk siswa dalam mengakses website-website yang bermuatan pornografi, serta kerja sama dengan orang tua siswa dalam mengawasi anaknya dalam mengakses internet di rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the application of problem-based learning for students in sociology class XIII social studies at SMA N 26 Tangerang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, to collect data the researcher uses question and answer media with sociology teachers (interviews) and observations, which are carried out to teachers and some students directly, in the process of interviewing research informants using unstructured interviews which questions can develop during the interview so that it becomes more flexible, and also explore several reference sources that support research by browsing relevant journals with the Based Learning (PBL) learning method. The results of this study describe that by using the problem-based learning method, students can be more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning and also discuss and present the problems studied in groups.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the leadership spirit of sociology teachers who are members of the Sociology Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) in Banten Province. Previous research has shown that students' motivation and learning achievement are highly dependent on the leadership spirit of teachers and teachers have a major role in shaping students' personalities. This shows that the teacher's leadership spirit affects students' learning motivation, and this leadership spirit has an important role for students to learn, work on, and complete school assignments. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods which are carried out to members of the Sociology MGMP of Banten Province. This research will be a reference for sociology teachers in order to grow the leadership spirit of sociology teachers. This study uses descriptive qualitative research by interviewing sociology teachers and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to formulate effective leadership training for these teachers. Researchers facilitate and analyze the needs of sociology teachers in realizing effective sociology learning.  Based on the results of the FGD and interviews, it was concluded that an effective teacher is a teacher who is able to adapt his leadership style to the situation and condition of the students. Teachers cannot only apply certain leadership patterns without paying attention to the needs of their students, effective teachers are adaptive teachers and can see situations and conditions when to be authoritarian and when to be democratic.

Abstract

Education is a right for everyone, both men and women, who have the right to get the same treatment and opportunities. The world of education should be a place to build good gender relations in social life. Gender equality means there are no different roles and positions between women and men in various aspects. Gender equality also refers to equal rights, responsibilities, and opportunities for women and men. Now gender equality has begun to be realized in the field of education. As in the case of learning, for example, every student in the class is free to access knowledge and express their opinion. No one takes precedence or ends, whether it is male or female. However, there are still some treatments that seem to discriminate against women, for example, in terms of friendship. When women try to mingle with men, they are still often sidelined because they are considered troublesome. This study aims to determine what conditions occur in universities responding to gender issues. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. . Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and literature study by searching from various sources relevant to this research. The method used in selecting informants is using the purposive sampling technique.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the social movements carried out by workers in demanding wage welfare. Through the analysis of the movement carried out by the Association of independent labor unions together with other workers in demanding the right to fulfillment and an increase in work wages. The government on the rules that stipulate the minimum wage often sided with the employers which was usually followed by a strike by the workers or workers. The root of this problem, of course, is usually triggered by the regulation of setting minimum wages, which workers consider inappropriate and inappropriate in providing minimum wages and demanding welfare for workers. The minimum wage has the aim of providing protection for workers from a small minimum wage, so that the minimum wage promotes the creation of justice for workers and also does not harm employers to fulfill the daily needs of the workers. Employers and workers both have the continuity of life which will also have an impact on the progress of the company, the government has a function in regulating decent wages for workers. The purpose of this analysis is to analyze the influence of the GSBI movement in voicing aspirations with other workers. Abstract

The punk sub-culture community is a community that is dominated by teenagers and their appearance style is different from society in general, such as the way they dress and also their lifestyle, political views. This difference occurs because of conflict as a community that is considered a minority against certain values. from the majority culture, which is considered to be contrary to the life principles of members of sub-cultural communities, especially the Punk sub-culture. This research uses qualitative methods, and the research location is in Cisoka sub-district, Tangerang Banten Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran yang dilakukan oleh garasi pintar dalam upaya peningkatan budaya literasi membaca siswa SD di lingkungan jeruk tipis kota cilegon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Lembaga Garasi Pintar merupakan lembaga bimbingan belajar sekaligus taman baca masyarakat yang bergerak dalam upaya peningkatan budaya literasi di lingkungan jeruk tipis dilihat menggunakan konsep teori peran Bidlle dan Thomas yang bertujuan untuk mendeskrpsikan bagaimana kelima istilah peran yang dilakukan oleh garasi pintar, yaitu (1). Expectation (harapan) yaitu diharapkan menjadi wadah anak-anak untuk menggapai kesuksesannya lewat dunia literasi, (2). Norm (norma) yaitu, harapan para pengurus dan juga masyarakat untuk bisa mengembangkan garasi pintar agar bisa membantu dalam upaya peningkatan budaya literasi masyarakat, (3). Performance (Wujud perilaku) yaitu bentuk dari harapan itu akhirnya di wujudkan melalui program kerjanya calistung dan sapa buku, dan (4). Evaluation (penilaian) dan sunction (sanksi) yaitu Peran penilaian dan sanksi ini bisa dilihat dengan adanya kinerja para pengurus garasi pintar. Faktor pendukung lembaga garasi pintar dalam upaya peningkatan budaya literasi yaitu: (1). Komitmen dan dukungan Kelurahan Bulakan, dan (2). Hubungan baik natar pengurus dan masyarakat, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu: (1). Kurangnya tenaga pengajar atau mentor, dan (2). Minimnya anggaran operasional. Kata Kunci: Peran, Lembaga Sosial, Budaya Literasi, Lingkungan Jeruk Tipis

Abstract

Teachers have an important role in educating students at school, especially in efforts to improve the quality of human resources, this is related to intolerant attitudes and behavior that every student must have. An attitude of tolerance needs to be instilled in order to create unity and peace so that students are able to accept differences, respect opinions, respect existing diversity. During sociology learning activities at school, many students find an intolerant attitude, such as not respecting the opinions of friends who provide their views on a problem, not paying attention to the teacher who is delivering the learning material, leaving the class while the lesson is still in progress and often interrupting friends' conversations. The aim of this research is to determine the value of implementing tolerance in students and to determine the impact of the results of the implementation carried out by sociology teachers through learning materials in the classroom. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive methods. The sources for this research are primary data and secondary data, with informants from school principals, sociology teachers and students. data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the attitude of tolerance that is instilled is related to the value of helping each other, respecting other people's opinions, being able to accept existing differences of opinion and being able to work together. The teacher's efforts to increase the value of tolerance in students are by using sociology material as a learning tool related to the value of tolerance in social life.

Abstract

Membentuk sikap solidaritas siswa melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan di lingkungan sekolah SMPIT As-Syifa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran guru sebagai pendidik, pengajar, dan pembimbing dalam membentuk sikap solidaritas siswa di sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan study literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di SMPIT As-Syifa peran guru begitu penting dalam membentuk sikap solidaritas siswa. Guru di SMPIT As-Syifa menunjukan bahwa guru-guru disekolah tersebut mampu membentuk solidaritas antar siswa yang ditunjukan dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan di lingkungan sekolah tersebut.
