Abstract

This research investigates the influence of video-based flipped learning on the attitudes of students in non-English language programs, focusing on enjoyment, engagement, motivation, behavioral intentions, and perception. The study employed a descriptive research design, collecting data through questionnaires administered to 30 students enrolled in non-English language courses. The findings reveal a significantly positive attitude towards flipped learning, with high scores in enjoyment and engagement indicating a preference for the interactive and dynamic nature of video-based learning environments. The study confirms that motivation and behavioral intentions are positively affected by the flipped model, enhancing students' proactive learning behaviors and overall engagement with the course material. Moreover, the positive perception of video-based learning among students suggests that this method supports a deeper understanding and retention of language skills. This research contributes to the educational discourse by demonstrating that flipped learning models can significantly improve learning experiences and outcomes in non-English language settings. Future studies are encouraged to explore the long-term impacts of flipped learning on language proficiency and retention, aiming to validate and expand upon the current findings.

Abstract

Indonesia's literacy condition is fragile, which is indicated by the low scientific literacy of students. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model on scientific literacy in the environmental awareness aspect of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study is a quasi-experimental type using a posttest-only control group design. A total of 171 students comprised the research population, from fifth-grade elementary school students. A total of 47 students were selected as samples through random sampling techniques. In obtaining research data, a non-test method was used in the form of a questionnaire to measure scientific literacy in terms of environmental awareness. Data analysis was obtained through t-test analysis or independent sample t-test. This study shows the results that there is an effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model on scientific literacy in the environmental awareness aspect of fifth-grade elementary school students (t equals 10.198, p less than 0.05) with a relatively high effect size (ES 1.48). So, it is concluded that the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model positively affects scientific literacy in the environmental awareness aspect of fifth-grade elementary school students. The implications of this study can develop student creativity in various learning packages.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran fundamental dalam membentuk karakter individu melalui integrasi pengetahuan, nilai moral, dan etika. Makalah ini membahas konsep pendidikan moral, pendidikan karakter, serta pembentukan nilai berdasarkan teori-teori dari Jean Piaget, Lawrence Kohlberg, Carl Rogers, dan John Dewey. Piaget dan Kohlberg menekankan perkembangan moral yang berjenjang sesuai usia dan interaksi lingkungan, sementara Rogers menekankan pentingnya aktualisasi diri dan pengalaman subjektif dalam pendidikan humanistik. Dewey, melalui pendidikan demokratis, menekankan relevansi pembelajaran dengan kehidupan nyata dan pengembangan tanggung jawab sosial. Selain itu, kode etik profesional bagi guru dan institusi pendidikan berperan sebagai landasan moral dalam membentuk sistem pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berintegritas. Penekanan pada pengembangan moral, etika, dan profesionalisme diharapkan menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif dan mempersiapkan individu menjadi anggota masyarakat yang berkarakter, bertanggung jawab, dan demokratis.

Abstract

Instructional media have yet to be applied innovatively and variedly in the delivery of Indonesian language material so that it impacts the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study analyzes interactive learning media's development process, validity, and effectiveness on learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects. This research is included in research development (Research & Development). The test subjects in this study were one material expert, one media expert, one design expert, and 24 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and tests. This study used three data analysis techniques: qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential statistical techniques (t-test). The results of this study indicate that the validity results obtained by material experts are 96.36% (very good), design experts are 95% (very good), media experts are 94.66% (very good), and responses from students are confident in individual trials 85 .08% (good), small group trials 83.47% (good), and field trials 80.20% (good). Based on the pre-test results of 61.67 percent (poor) and the post-test results of 85.25 percent (good). The results show that the significance level is less than 0.05. (p˃0.05). Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that interactive learning media is valid and effective in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

During learning, children feel bored and shy when meeting new people, so they need to be adequately stimulated to support the child's social-emotional development. This research analyzes the demonstration learning method assisted by hand puppets on children's language and social-emotional abilities. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental Design (quasi-experiment). The research design used was a posttest-only control group design. In this study, the population was the total number of Kindergarten B children, totaling 185 children. The sample selection technique in this research was random sampling with a sample size of 65 children. The data collection method uses observation and questionnaire sheets. Inferential statistical analysis is an analysis used to test research hypotheses. The research results show that the Demonstration Learning Method Assisted by Hand Puppet Media can influence children's language and social-emotional abilities. The research results show differences in the language and social-emotional abilities of children who follow the demonstration learning method assisted by hand puppet media and those taught using the lecture method. It was concluded that the Demonstration Learning Method Assisted by Hand Puppet Media could improve Kindergarten B children's language and social-emotional skills.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai karakter belum sepenuhnya ditanamkan. Beberapa fenomena kenakalan yang sering dilakukan siswa SD dan tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai karakter yang baik meliputi berkelahi, mengejek, bullying, perilaku kekerasan dan tindakan-tindakan negative lainnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar bermuatan nilai karakter utama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket (kuisioner). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 pakar/ahli materi, 2 pakar/ahli media, 1 guru dan 30 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada angket (kuisioner) meliputi angket penilaian media, materi, respon guru dan respon siswa. teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu validitas buku cerita dengan kriteria sangat valid, kepraktisan guru dengan kriteria sangat praktis, kepraktisan siswa yang tergolong sangat praktis. Pada uji efektivitas menunjukan buku cerita bergambar bermuatan nilai karakter utama ini efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas II SD. Disimpulkan buku cerita bergambar bermuatan nilai karakter utama efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning theories have broad implications in various aspects of life. In education, learning theories are used to design curricula, select teaching methods, and evaluate learning outcomes. This paper presents a comparative literature review of three major learning theories: behaviorism, humanism, and cognitivism, in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study analyzed 30 scientific journals published in the last 5 years using thematic analysis to identify key themes and compare the perspectives of the three theories. The results show that behaviorist theory emphasizes observable behavioral changes, while cognitive theory focuses on internal mental processes. Humanistic theory, on the other hand, highlights the importance of intrinsic motivation and a supportive learning environment. The implications of these findings are the importance of combining elements of the three theories in designing effective learning, so that students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking skills and a positive attitude towards learning. This research makes a significant contribution to our understanding of the relevance of learning theories in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. By identifying the gap between theory and practice, this research is expected to provide input for the development of a curriculum that is more responsive to student needs and the development of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak didik setelah penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media kartu angka bergambar kelompok B semester II tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 TK Widya Brata Mengwi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 orang Anak TK ada Kelompok B Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan kognitif dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukan rata-rata persentase perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B semester II di TK Widya Brata Mengwi pada siklus I sebesar 53,00% berada pada kategori sangat rendah dan rata-rata persentase perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B semester II di TK Widya Brata Mengwi pada siklus II 93,00% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan rata-rata persentase perkembangan kognitif anak dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 40% dan berada pada kategori aktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kreativitas siswa setelah diterapkan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media bahan bekas di TK Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng pada kelompok B2 semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 orang Anak TK pada Kelompok B2 Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian tentang kreativitas siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan instrumen berupa pedoman observasi serta metode wawancara dengan instrumen berupa  pedoman wawancara. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kreativitas siswa setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas dan media bahan bekas pada siklus I sebesar 57,8%  yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 85,25% tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan  kreativitas  pada siswa sebesar 27,45%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kreativitas siswa setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas dan media bahan bekas di TK Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng Kelompok B2 Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kemampuan moral yang berkarakter pada anak usia dini dengan menerapakan metode  demonstrasi berbantuan media kartu gambar. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 orang anak kelompok A TK Bayu Kumara Banyuseri semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Variabel penelitian ini adalah perkembangan moral yang berkarakter. Data penelitian diproleh dengan metode observasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rerata skor kemampuan moral yang berkarakter pada anak pada siklus I sebesar 31,94% berada pada kategori rendah dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,66% berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 49,72%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada Pendidik Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) agar menerapkan metode demonstrasi berbantuan media kartu gambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan moral  berkarakter anak.   Kata Kunci: kemampuan moral yang berkarakter, metode demonstrasi, media kartu gambar   Abstract This research aim to to know the make-up of growth of ability of moral which with character at group child of early childhood with method by applying demonstrate picture with card media. This Research Desain is research of class action by using two cycle. This Research Subjek is 10 group child A TK Wind of Kumara Banyuseri semester of II School Year 2012 / 2013. This Research variable is growth of moral which with character. Data research collected with observation method. a sheet instruments observation Data is collecting with character. Data research collected with instrument use by observation sheet. Data which have been gathered to be analysed with descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. Results of data analysis showed that an increase from mean % of ability of moral which with character at cycle I equal to 31,94% residing in low category. Mean ability of moral which with character at cycle II mount to become 81,66% residing in high category, this show the existence of the make-up of from cycle I to cycle II equal to 49,72%. Based on the result of this study, it was recommended for early chillhood educations in demostrate picture with card media for the increased of growth ability moral of children.   Keywords: ability of moral which with character, demonstration method, picture card media
