Abstract

Learning theories have seen the development of students’ higher order thinking skills a quintessential educational goal for all students, as the absence of such skills in learning leads to students’ difficulty in answering questions that are analytical, critical, creative, and problem-solving. What is more, the prevailing literacy scoring instruments have yet to take into account the Indonesian cultural context despite the fact that culture is such an important vehicle in strengthening the identity of a nation. In order to address this problem, employing a research-and-development method, a HOTS-based reading literacy scoring device model was proposed in this research. In the development stage, the model was tested to 476 junior high school students in two separate islands in Indonesia: Java and Bali. The results of the qualitative assessment from the experts showed that the product developed in principle had fulfilled the requirements. Meanwhile, the validity and reliability test results demonstrated that the instrument under investigation had met the requirements as a standardized reading literacy assessment product.  Implicationally, therefore, the proposed model can be utilized in assessing students’ reading skill in Indonesian contexts.

Abstract

Developing metacognition abilities is one of the main goals in education. The ability of metacognition is one of the abilities that a person must have in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of implementing a scientific multiliteration learning model on the metacognition abilities of elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The number of samples of this study were 39 students. Data were collected using an open-ended question test to measure the metacognition abilities of elementary school students. Data were analyzed through normality test, homogeneity test and t test using SPSS version 20.0 for windows. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the pre-test score of metacognition ability of elementary school students was 36.15 while the post-test score of metacognition ability of elementary school students was 83.84. Based on the results of the t test using paired sample test results obtained that p = 0.00˂0.05 means that there are significant differences in the metacognition abilities of elementary school students between before and after treatment using scientific multiliteration learning models. That is, the scientific multiliteration learning model has a significant impact in developing the metacognition abilities of elementary school students

Abstract

Abstract: The priority issue in this study is the lack of reading comprehension ability of elementary students. One cause of this condition is emerging that reading comprehension is still ongoing learning monotonous and did not using authentic assessment. To improve the reading comprehension skills of primary school students, this research was optimizing the using of authentic assessment model in teaching reading comprehension. This research was conducted by using the quasi-experimental method. Research samples were elementary school students from three schools with three different characteristics. Data were collected using a test technique. The data were processed using the statistical testing anova test. Based on the research and the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the model of authentic assessment with proper design can enhance the ability of elementary school students' reading comprehension. DOI: 10.15408/tjems.v1i1.1121

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam gamitan pendidikan karakter, pembelajaran membaca di sekolah harus dilaksanakan dengan berorientasi pada peningkatan kemampuan membaca sekaligus mengembangkan karakter siswa. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan serangkaian upaya menciptakan proses pembelajaran membaca yang bermutu dan berkarakter. Pengembangan pembelajaran membaca dapat dilakukan melalui pemanfataan tiga saluran penerapan pendidikan karakter, yaitu melalui bahan ajar, model pembelajaran, dan penilaian otentik. Penilaian otentik merupakan saluran yang paling penting sebab penggunaan penilaian otentik akan mencakup pemilihan bahan ajar dan model pembelajaran. Penilaian otentik memandu pembelajaran melalui pengreasian berbagai aktivitas belajar yang dilakukan siswa selama proses pembelajaran yang di dalamnya terkandung muatan karakter. Penilaian otentik memberikan gambaran nyata kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan memberikan ukuran ketercapaian pengembangan karakter siswa. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut penggunaan penilaian otentik akan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan pengembangan karakter siswa. Abstract

Abstract: The main issue addressed in this research is the low writing skills of primary school students. One of the reasons for this condition is that the existing model of writing literacy learning is not appropriate. The purpose of this study is to explain MID-based literacy teaching model and the impact of the model in increasing primary school students’ writing skills. This study used combined methods of exploratory type. The samples were elementary school students coming from six schools with three different characteristics. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of MID-based literacy learning model has proven to signi cantly contribute to the improvement of students’ writing skills. Taking place in all sample schools, the improvement may suggest that the model ts not only to students with high- ability but also those with low-ability. Therefore, the MID-based literacy learning model is needed to improve the ability to write various text types appropriately. Salah satu penyebab muncul kondisi ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran literasi menulis belum menggunakan model yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan model literasi menulis berbasis MID dan dampak penerapan model tersebut terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi menulis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi tipe eksploratori. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa sekolah dasar yang berasal dari 6 sekolah dengan tiga karakteristik yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran literasi berbasis MID terbukti secara signi kan memiliki kontribusi bagi peningkatan kemampuan literasi menulis siswa. Peningkatan ini terjadi pada seluruh sekolah sampel, yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran literasi berbasis MID tidak hanya berfungsi bagi siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi tetapi juga bagi siswa yang berkemampuan rendah. Oleh sebab itu, model pembelajaran literasi berbasis MID sangat diperlukan guna meningkatkan kemampuan menulis dalam beragam jenis teks. Abstract

Before the establishment of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), banks are regulated and supervised by Bank Indonesia (BI), while the non-bank financial companies regulated and supervised by Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal-Lembaga Keuangan (Bapepam-LK). But after the crisis hit in 1998, it gives birth to the idea of establishing an independent oversight agency. However, this agency is formed after a long process of waiting. Exactly after the issuance of Undang-Undang No. 21 Tahun 2011 tentang Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. The issues that will be raised by the author is how OJK regulated in Indonesia, how is the position of financial services authority in other countries, what is the functions and duties of OJK. The research method used by the author was a literature research, which is the juridical normative that aims to describe in a systematic, factual and accurate to state the object of a study by research based on normative legal provision. Research source used is sourced from secondary data. Otoritas Jasa Keuangan is an independent body in carrying out its duties and powers under Undang-Undang No. 21 Tahun 2011 tentang Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. In the UK, Financial Services Authority headed by a chairman. But in carrying out day-to-day operational activities carried out by a CEO. In Japan, Financial Services Authority headed by the commissioner in charge of administrative law judge, planning and coordination bureau, inspection bureau, and supervisory bureau. General functions and tasks of OJK is to regulate and supervise the activities of financial services in banking, capital markets, and other financial institutions. In the banking sector, the functions and duties related to OJK were only microprudential aspects such as institutional, business activities, and assessment of banks’ health. In the sector of the capital markets and other financial institutions, OJK carry out all the duties and authority vested in Bapepam-LK, ie foster, organize, and oversee the day-to-day activities of the capital markets and to formulate and implement the policies and technical standardization in the field of financial institutions. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model multiliterasi literatur terhadap kemampuan siswa memahami cerita dongeng bergambar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode kuasieksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian produk menceritakan kembali cerita dongeng berupa zig-zag book. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model multiliterasi literatur efektif meningkatkan kemampuan siswa memahami cerita dongeng bergambar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hal ini, model multiliterasi literatur dapat dijadikan model alternatif dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model kelas terbalik berbasis literasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran menulis anekdot yang layak baik dari ahli maupun pengguna. Untuk menghasil produk tersebut, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mencakup sepuluh tahapan penelitian. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 orang validator ahli, 5 orang guru, dan 105 siswa SMA di Kabupaten Bandung. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen panduan wawancara dan kuesioner. Data hasil penelitian diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian sangat baik berdasarkan validator ahli baik ditinjau dari indikator desain model, media pembelajaran, maupun evaluasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan tanggapan guru sebagai pengguna, model kelas terbalik berbasis literasi digital dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak baik ditinjau dari indikator kemudahan, kemenarikan, kesesuaian, maupun kemanfaatan model pembelajaran.  Tanggapan siswa terhadap model yang dikembangkan juga dinilai sangat layak ditinjau dari indikator kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kebermanfaatan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, model pembelajaran kelas terbalik berbasis literasi digital layak untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot.

Abstract

the Objective of the program of community service is To Empowering Karang Taruna Desa Cibiru Hilir In Building the Creative Economy Through Training on Hydroponics And Aquaponics. Weaknesses of teachers in making learning media makes the problem to be the solution sought. Hydroponics and aquaponics is one of the alternatives to build the creative economy of the community, so that it becomes the basis and the reason of rational team of researchers in taking steps to implement community service activities through training sistemhidroponik and aquaponics. Community service is performed by the method of the development of action research. Community service activities in his youth in the Village Cibiru Hilir, Kecamatan Cileunyi, Bandung Regency in accordance with the results of the response of the questionnaire the level of satisfaction of partners in the implementation of community service, which said that the partners respond to a positive response (90%) with the activity of this devotion.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis lebih jauh penerapan pendidikan karakter siswa pada masa sekarang, karena jika kita lihat masih banyak perilaku atau sikap siswa yang jauh dari harapan, terutama di masa pandemi ini. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan Abad 21 yang telah atau sedang diterapkan di sekolah. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel yaitu Studi Literatur. Studi tentang beberapa sumber buku, jurnal, dan referensi lainnya yang mendukung penulisan artikel. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pendidikan karakter untuk siswa saat ini tidak terlepas dari tiga lingkungan pendidikan, dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan Abad 21 yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya dalam membangun karakter siswa tersebut, tentunya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan tujuan pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan dapat tercapai dengan optimal. Salah satu tujuan pendidikan nasional pada umumnya adalah pengembangan karakter siswa.
