Abstract

Technological advances are so rapidly affecting various fields, one of which is education. Education cannot be separated from progress. As one of the innovators, teaching in schools should be carried out by following all the changes that exist. In fact, students' digital literacy abilities are known to be in the low category so that the learning needs of each individual are not optimally achieved. The purpose of this study as an analysis that utilizing information and communication technology that is growing rapidly can help students meet their learning needs. The research method was carried out by means of literature analysis, the authors looked for various reference sources to provide information about the benefits of digital literacy for students. The result is that good digital literacy skills can enrich themselves with knowledge by actualizing themselves in these technological advances. The role of the teacher in this case is certainly irreplaceable, but the teacher can guide the extent to which students can utilize technology on the positive side and to what extent they can minimize the possibility of deviating from the use of this technology

Abstract

Learning media is an important part as a means so that students can understand the material well. However, in reality, sometimes the media used is not appropriate, which has an impact on students' lack of attention, low learning outcomes and lack of attainment of 21st century skills. The ability to think critically is one of the 21st century skills. The digestive system is one of the materials in grade V school science. Base. The digestive process and diseases of the digestive system are still difficult for students to understand, this is because the material is presented only in book and power point teaching media. This is based on the results of observations and interviews with class V teachers. Meanwhile, the abstract digestive system material requires students' critical thinking skills. In stimulating critical thinking skills, students can utilize digital virtual Reality learning media. Virtual Reality media can visualize which students will experience directly. This research is quantitative descriptive research. With observations, interviews and surveys of 31 teachers at the Pal Merah District Elementary School, Jambi City. Thus, the aim of this research is to analyze the need for virtual Reality media to improve critical thinking skills regarding class V digestive system material.

Abstract

The research aims to identify the dominant factors influencing the acceptance of web-based multimodal learning media in elementary schools. The research method employed is a quantitative survey using variables within the 2nd UTAUT model. The research sample consists of 100 elementary school teachers, selected through random sampling techniques. The research instrument uses a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis is conducted using the SmartPLS 4.0 application. Based on the research findings, it is evident that there are factors that have a significant impact on the acceptance of web-based multimodal learning media. These factors include User Habit (IUH) and Social Influence (SI). Behavioral Intention (BI), it is influenced by Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facility Condition (FC), User Habit (IUH), Perceived Learning Opportunity (PLO), and Hedonic Motivation (HM), which have a positive but non-significant influence. In conclusion, teachers' intention to utilize web-based multimodal learning media is strongly supported by their familiarity with technology (IUH) and social influence (SI), which motivates them to develop and use available learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the interrelationships between motivation, self-efficacy and the use of self- regulation strategies in relation to grade 5 students' literary knowledge in primary schools. Studying the relationship between motivation, self-efficacy, and the use of self-regulation strategies is important for grade 5 students' literary knowledge because it can have a positive impact on their learning ability and academic achievement. The research method involves collecting primary data through questionnaires given to 100 grade 5 students. The questionnaires are designed to measure students' level of motivation in learning literature, students' self-efficacy regarding their ability to understand and analyze literary works, and students' use of self-regulation strategies in dealing with literary tasks. Correlation analysis will be used to examine the relationships between variables, such as correlation analysis, to explore the relationship between students' motivation, self-efficacy, use of self-regulation strategies, and literary knowledge. The results of this analysis are understanding the interrelationships between motivation, self-efficacy, and the use of self-regulation strategies can help grade 5 students develop a strong interest in literature, increase their confidence in their ability to study literature, and enable them to manage their learning more effectively. This will contribute to increasing their understanding and appreciation of literary works, as well as their overall academic achievement. The findings of this study can provide guidelines for educators in designing effective learning strategies and motivating students in learning literature. This research is also expected to contribute to the field of literature learning research at the primary school level and provide a more comprehensive insight into the factors that influence literary knowledge at this stage.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran Abad 21 ini sangat populer dengan membawa perubahan yaitu pesatnya perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) yang mengakibatkan perubahan paradigma pembelajaran yang ditandai dengan perubahan kurikulum, media, dan teknologi. Karena pada dasarnya pembelajaran abad 21 adalah implikasi dari perkembangan masyarakat dari masa ke masa. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa masyarakat berkembang dari masyarakat primitif ke masyarakat agraris, selanjutnya ke masyarakat industri, dan sekarang bergeser ke arah masyarakat informatif. Masyarakat informatif ditandai dengan berkembangnya digitalisasi. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan inovasi pembelajaran pada abad ke 21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kajian Pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian, bahwa pendidikan abad 21 merupakan proses mengembangkan dan memberdayakan seluruh potensi peserta didik untuk membentuk karakter yang lebih baik. Ada berbagai inovasi pembelajaran abad 21 yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di Indonesia. Salah satunya yaitu penerapan Model Blended Learning (MBL) yang sangat sesuai untuk menghadapi tantangan di Indonesia dalam Abad ke 21 dan menyiapkan lingkungan belajar untuk tercapainya kompetensi abad 21.  Selain itu, perubahan yang terjadi pada masyarakat dunia kearah digitalisasi ini memaksa proses pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Guru dan siswa dituntut melek teknologi digital.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis lebih jauh penerapan pendidikan karakter siswa pada masa sekarang, karena jika kita lihat masih banyak perilaku atau sikap siswa yang jauh dari harapan, terutama di masa pandemi ini. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan Abad 21 yang telah atau sedang diterapkan di sekolah. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel yaitu Studi Literatur. Studi tentang beberapa sumber buku, jurnal, dan referensi lainnya yang mendukung penulisan artikel. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pendidikan karakter untuk siswa saat ini tidak terlepas dari tiga lingkungan pendidikan, dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan Abad 21 yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya dalam membangun karakter siswa tersebut, tentunya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan tujuan pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan dapat tercapai dengan optimal. Salah satu tujuan pendidikan nasional pada umumnya adalah pengembangan karakter siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan berbagai upaya pemerintah dalam mengembangkan pendidikan di Indonesia mulai dari pembelajaran abad 19-20 sampai pembelajaran abad 21. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam menganalisis pembahsan topik utama dengan menggunakan studi literatur ilimah yang tersedia di jurnal terindeks dengan desain dari penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan serta strategi pembelajaran dari masa ke masa, yang dilihat dari sejarah bangsa Indonesia itu sendiri sampai masa sekarang. Serta tentang penggunaan teknologi untuk pembelajaran yang digunakan pada masa sekarang ini. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa upaya pembelajaran di Indonesia masih terus berkembang dan perlu adanya perhatian lebih dari berbagai pihak khususnya pemerintah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan tuntutan zaman sekarang dan upaya strategi pembelajaran yang sudah tersusun, sekolah sudah harus difasilitasi berbagai teknologi guna mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien sesusai dengan perkembangan zaman sekarang

Abstract

This study has a background of low Mathematics learning outcomes for fifth-grade with a percentage of 37.93% complete and 62.07% incomplete. Meanwhile, the minimum score limit for Mathematics is 75. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes with the concept of a combined area of flat shapes at Salman Al Farisi Elementary School Bandung in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research procedure uses classroom action research which includes 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Salman Al Farisi Bandung. The research sample is class 6D with a total of 24 students. This study consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle 1 meeting. The study conclude of this study is that through the flipped classroom learning model, it shows that the results of learning Mathematics in terms of knowledge seen from the learning outcomes test are 75% in cycle 1 students who get scores above the minimum score and 95.83% in cycle 2 get scores above minimum score. It can be concluded that the application of the flipped classroom model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The teacher's assessment of students' poetry reading skills has differences in research instruments, especially in the assessment aspect. The assessment instrument used in poetry reading skills is adjusted to the elements contained in the poem. This study aims to describe the literature review of the instruments used in poetry reading assessment. This study used a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The research stages were carried out starting from article collection, article reduction, article display, discussion, and conclusion. Sources of research data are in the form of national articles in the last 6 years (2015-2021). The results showed that the aspect that was often assessed was the aspect of intonation with a percentage of 21%, while the aspect that was rarely used was the aspect of articulation, interpretation and stage mastery with a percentage of 1%. There was also an addition to the assessment aspect of poetry reading from year (2015-2021).

Abstract

Abstract Interest in web-based multimodality learning media has increased rapidly in recent years. Multimodality learning media combines various elements such as text, images, audio, video, animation, and interactivity to create rich and interesting learning experiences. This study aims to describe the success and acceptability of web-based multimodality learning media among students. This study uses a qualitative approach involving students from various levels of education. Data was collected through observation, interviews and surveys. The results showed that web-based multimodality learning media was highly accepted by students. They expressed high satisfaction with interactive multimodality learning experiences and greater involvement in the learning process. Learners appreciate the accessibility of web-based learning media that allows flexible and independent learning. They also reported that the use of various media elements such as images, videos, and audio helps reinforce understanding and maintain interest in learning. Students also like interactive features that allow them to be actively involved in the learning process, such as quizzes, interactive exercises, and online discussions. However, this study also identified several challenges that need to be addressed. Some students experience problems accessing a stable and limited internet, while others have limitations in technology skills. In addition, the attention that is divided between learning media and online distractions is also a challenge faced by students. Referring to the results of this study, it is suggested that educational institutions continue to encourage the use of web-based multimodality learning media. Efforts need to be made to improve internet accessibility and provide technology skills training to students. In addition, it is important to design learning media that are interesting, interactive, and easy to use to maintain students' interest and involvement in the learning process.
