Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the Special Job Exchange (BKK) in increasing the absorption of Palembang City State Vocational School alumni in the world of work. BKK is one of the units that supports the labor absorption process by connecting the world of education and the world of industry. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving primary data through in-depth interviews with BKK, alumni and collaborating companies. The research results show that BKK has a significant role in facilitating Palembang City State Vocational School alumni in obtaining employment opportunities. Apart from that, BKK also provides training and information regarding job vacancies that are relevant to the skills possessed by alumni. However, several challenges are still faced, such as a lack of certain skills needed by companies and limited collaboration networks with the industrial world. This research recommends the need to improve the quality of training and expand the cooperation network between vocational schools and the industrial world to increase the effectiveness of BKK in accelerating workforce absorption.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the principal's managerial skills in developing a religious culture at SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that the Management of the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang in developing a religious culture is through planning, organizing, implementing, supervising and evaluating. The management carried out by the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang includes: first, the implementation of daily activities in the form of: providing exemplary behavior/examples, reprimands/advice, conditioning the environment that supports character education, routine activities/character habits, and mentoring and supervision activities for character education. Second, the management of the principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang through programmed activities in the form of: Imtaq activities before starting lessons and completing the Al-Quran every month, dhuha prayer activities, dzuhur prayers in congregation. Third, the Management of the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang through learning activities. In learning activities, religious culture must be implemented which includes the preparation of plans and learning tools that contain religious values.

Abstract

Higher education as one of the service providers in the field of education must be able to provide and create student satisfaction. Student satisfaction can be generated from the quality of services provided and the learning facilities provided which are directly related to the student teaching and learning process. This study applies a non-parametric statistical method through the analysis of the relationship with the spearman rank and the multivariate spearman rank which aims to examine whether the quality of academic services and learning facilities has a significant relationship either partially or jointly with student satisfaction at the Institute of Health Sciences and Technology Muhammadiyah Palembang. The population in this study is active students in the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 1,530 people, and the number of samples taken is 153 students. Tools to collect data information using questionnaires that utilize the Likert scale. The results of the study showed that (1) the quality of academic services has a significant relationship with learning facilities and vice versa, (2) the quality of academic services has a significant relationship with student satisfaction, (3) learning facilities have a significant relationship with student satisfaction, (4) the quality of academic services and learning facilities together have a significant relationship with student satisfaction with a value of R2=0.868 with percent of 86.8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh usulan tunjangan melalui aplikasi SIM JITU dan layanan Sub Bagian Keuangan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kota Prabumulih. Aplikasi SIM JITU merupakan sistem yang digunakan untuk mempermudah proses pengajuan dan verifikasi tunjangan, sementara layanan Sub Bagian Keuangan berperan dalam pengelolaan administrasi keuangan yang berkaitan dengan tunjangan guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada guru-guru SMA Negeri di Kota Prabumulih, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik usulan tunjangan melalui aplikasi SIM JITU maupun layanan Sub Bagian Keuangan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Faktor kemudahan akses, kecepatan proses, dan transparansi dalam layanan menjadi penentu utama kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pihak terkait dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan administrasi keuangan, khususnya terkait tunjangan, yang berdampak pada kepuasan kerja guru.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam manajemen arsip. Di Sekretariat Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, arsip konvensional yang sebelumnya dikelola secara manual, kini mulai beralih ke sistem arsip digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi transformasi manajemen arsip konvensional menuju arsip digital di Sekretariat Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur, implementasi arsip digital telah berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi, kemudahan akses, dan pengelolaan arsip. Adapun faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi adalah komitmen pimpinan, pelatihan SDM, serta ketersediaan perangkat dan aplikasi yang mendukung digitalisasi arsip. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi instansi lain dalam proses digitalisasi manajemen arsip untuk mencapai pengelolaan arsip yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on job satisfaction at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression techniques to test the influence of the independent variables (school principal leadership and work motivation) on the dependent variable (job satisfaction). The research results show that the principal's leadership has a significant positive influence on job satisfaction, as well as work motivation which also has a positive influence on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, these two variables make a significant contribution to the level of job satisfaction at the school. This research provides recommendations so that school principals can pay more attention to the leadership style applied and increase teacher work motivation in order to increase overall job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation of teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Muara Padang. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that the role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Muara Padang can be divided into 3 stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The principal's planning to improve teacher performance begins with the formation of a teacher performance assessment team (PK). In its implementation, the team schedules activities, forms of training and details the costs of activities. After the implementation is complete, an evaluation is carried out in the form of supervision. The results of the supervision are formed in a teacher performance assessment report, the results of which have been maximized at SMP Negeri 1 Muara Padang.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational culture and principal’s leadership on teacher performance in state senior high schools in Cengal District. A quantitative approach was employed using questionnaires distributed to 42 teachers. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression techniques in SPSS 26. Results indicate that organizational culture significantly influences teacher performance (R² = 62.1%), while principal leadership shows a lower but significant impact (R² = 11.1%). Combined, these two variables explain 33.0% of the variance in teacher performance, suggesting that additional factors contribute to performance outcomes. These findings emphasize the need for stronger leadership development programs and school culture improvements to enhance educational effectiveness.

Abstract

The success in organizing educational institutions cannot be separated from the influence of the management of the supporting components of educational activities, such as curriculum, students, financing, implementing personnel, and infrastructure This study aims to determine how student management in overcoming bullying behavior at SDN 115 Palembang. This research is a study that uses field research. The object of this research is student management and overcoming bullying behavior). Informants who can help in data collection are the principal, deputy head of student affairs, class teachers, and students at SDN 115 Palembang The results of this study were carried out by determining student management planning in overcoming bullying behavior and determining considerations before forming student management planning in overcoming bullying. The student management planning carried out is: 1) make a plan to implement counseling or socialization about bullying; 2) plan to approach students by establishing good communication and showing a high sense of caring for the school community; and 3) plan to make anti-bullying activities that can be done by making strict rules regarding bullying behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of the use of youtube media on student learning outcomes in history subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Bayung Lencir. The method used is Experiment with the Quasi Experiment type. The sample selection used the Purposive Sampling technique consisting of class X.1 as a control class of 25 students and class X.3 as an experimental class of 25 students. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, tests and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique consisted of normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. So based on the results of the hypothesis test, the result of tcount = 4.891 and ttable value = 1.677 with α=0.05 and df=48 then 4.891 ≥ 1.677 so that the tcount ≥ ttable then Hα is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that in this study there is an influence of the use of youtube media on student learning outcomes in history subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Bayung Lencir.
