Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted various aspects of life, including education, lifestyle, habits, and social behavior. Online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus faced unstable conditions and limited signal, leading to low discipline and responsibility among students. This decreased interest in learning and quality of education was analyzed in 2021/2022 to understand the impact on post-Covid-19 learning outcomes. This problem made the author analyze students’ interest in learning, level of discipline, and responsibility for post-COVID-19 learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus, West Bangka Regency in 2021/2022. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational type of research because this research aims to see the relationship between one variable and another variable. In this study, the population was all students at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus, totaling 715 students from class X to class XII. This sample will be taken from class XI students. In this research, the data collection techniques that researchers used were questionnaires and documentation. Based on this research, the results were obtained The study found that interest in learning, discipline, and responsibility significantly influenced post-Covid-19 learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Jebus, West Bangka Regency. The variables of interest in learning, discipline, and responsibility had a positive impact, with the remaining variables being 0.288 or 28.8%. The adjusted R square figure is 0.712 or 71.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and work motivation on teacher work discipline. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample of this research was 106 teachers of SD Negeri Gugus 1, Sungaiselan District. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple regression test techniques. The results of the study stated that (1) there was a significant influence between leadership on the work discipline of SD Gugus 1 teacher in Sungaiselan District; (2) There is a significant influence between work motivation on the work discipline of SD Gugus 1 teachers in Sungaiselan District; (2) There is a significant influence of leadership and work motivation on the work discipline of SD Gugus 1 teachers in Sungaiselan District together by 94.2% and the remaining 6.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The research aims to find out whether the Problem-Based Learning learning model can strengthen the positive character and behavior of students in early childhood education. The method used is Research and Development through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation in the form of photos and videos. The results of the research show that using the Problem-Based Learning learning model in Early Childhood Education can strengthen the character of students in having faith and devotion to God Almighty and having noble, creative, cooperative, and independent morals. Apart from that, students can behave positively by tidying up the place, after carrying out activities, saying thank you for the help received, saying sorry if they make a mistake, and being able to clean the school environment with the result that 1.23% of students have not developed, 17.28% are starting to develop, 41.98% developed as expected, and 39.51% developed very well.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of society that requires various skills, strategies, and learning models. Innovation is very important to overcome educational problems. The quality of the learning process depends on organizing and managing input from teachers, students, money, and resources. Creativity in learning is a system that is not easy to control but is very important for effective learning. However, monotonous learning can lead to monotony, lack of motivation, and lack of passion in students. The author observes the poor quality of junior high school teachers in Namang District, the absence of a social studies laboratory, learning media facilities, and certification. Many teachers are not linear in their areas of competence. This research aims to determine the influence of infrastructure and teacher creativity on teacher performance in junior high schools in Namang District, Central Bangka Regency. This research will be conducted at junior high schools in Namang District, Central Bangka Regency, using quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population is teachers in Namang District with a sample of 53 respondents. The research will be carried out through pre-research, followed by a trial phase, where questionnaires will be distributed. Observational data collection techniques, and documentation. Research suggests improving facilities and infrastructure in schools, especially in UKS rooms, to ensure students can relax and unwind. Teacher creativity is essential for effective teaching, offering a variety of methods and practices to avoid monotony. Apart from that, teacher performance also needs to be improved, especially in providing individual guidance to students who have problems. Schools should encourage active and enthusiastic teachers to increase their overall efforts in education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the role of school principals in planning, organizing, moving, supervising, and evaluating the quality of education through the concept of school-based management at SMP Negeri 5 Prabumulih city. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Prabumulih City, with a total of 8 informants. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this research are that the role of the school principal in planning, organizing, moving, supervising, and evaluating to improve the quality of education through the concept of school-based management has been implemented well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, mendeksripsikn dan menguji pengaruh efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMK Negri Kecamatan Sekayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif berdasarkan asosiasi dan hubungan sebab akibat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri Sekayu Kec. Sekayu, Kab. Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Diantaranya adalah SMK Negeri 1 Sekayu, SK Ngeri 2 Sekayu, SMK Negeri 3 Sekayu. Sampel pada penelitian ini sejumlah 84 guru beserta kepala sekolah. Teknik pengupulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket berupa instrument dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa disiplin Kerja sedikit dipengaruhi oleh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah. Melalui uji t bahwa variable Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja secara parsial. Uji F (simultan) menunjukkan variabel Efektivitas Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Disiplin Kerja. Alasannya adalah 0,221 > 0,05 yang merupakan tingkat signifikansi.

Abstract

Hasil kinerja guru yang baik tidak dapat dipisahkan dari besar kecilnya balas jasa atau kompensasi. Banyak anggapan di masyarakat bahwa semakin besar kompensasi maka akan semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerjanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi finansial dan kompensasi non-finansial terhadap kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Alat pegumpulan data dengan observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dianalisis memperlihatkan bahwa nilai koefesien determinasi (R Square) kompensasi finansial terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,362 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh kompensasi finansial terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 36,2%. Dan nilai koefesien determinasi (R Square) kompensasi non-finansial sebesar 0,698 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh kompensasi non-finansial terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 69,8%. Serta didapat nilai koefesien determinasi (R Square) kompensasi finansial dan kompensasi non-finansial terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,719 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh kompensasi finansial dan kompensasi non-finansial terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 51,6%.

Abstract

Kinerja guru merupakan faktor krusial dalam menentukan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 100 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan instrumen berupa wawancara menggunakan daftar pertanyaan. Sebanyak 12 guru menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan adanya kesenjangan antara kinerja yang direncanakan dan kinerja yang terjadi di lapangan. Metode Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi perbedaan tersebut, memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai efektivitas kinerja guru. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan untuk pengembangan strategi perbaikan kinerja guru, yang pada gilirannya akan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 100 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Influence of Principal Leadership and Teacher Discipline on the Quality of Education in SD Negeri Se Gandus District, Palembang. This type of research is quantitative research with a research design using an ex post facto research design. The sample in this study is 169 teachers of State Elementary School in Gandus District, Palembang, which is a number. Data collection techniques use questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results of this study stated that 1) there was a significant influence of the principal's leadership on the quality of education in Gandus Palembang District; 2) there was a significant influence of teacher discipline on the quality of education in Gandus Palembang District; 3) there is a significant influence on the leadership of the principal and the discipline of teachers on the quality of education in Gandus District, Palembang.

Abstract

This study aimed at improving teachers’ abilities at SD 83 Palembang in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum through training and mentoring. The study employed a classroom action research design.  The research subjects were the teachers at SD 83 Palembang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The research was conducted from April to May 2024 at SD 83 Palembang, involving 31 teachers and 9 educational staff as samples. The findings revealed that training and mentoring were effective in enhancing teachers’ capabilities in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The principal of SD 83 Palembang has fostered a positive school environment, evident in their active role in enhancing teachers’ competencies in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum grants schools and teachers greater autonomy in designing learning that aligns with students’ needs and potential. This necessitates teachers possessing adequate capabilities to effectively implement the Merdeka Curriculum.
