Abstract

Every employee needs a manager's learning style and a leader's leadership style that can improve employee performance, because with high employee performance, employee performance becomes more focused and organizational goals can be achieved more quickly. This study aims to determine the effect of learning style and leadership style on organizational effectiveness with employee performance as an intervening variable. The type of research used is explanatory research, with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling, with the determination of the number of samples using the Slovin formula and the number of samples obtained was 78 employees. Data sources were obtained from primary data by distributing questionnaires and secondary data with documentation. This study uses path analysis with the help of SPSS 25.0 software. The results of this study indicate that Manager Learning Style and Leadership Style have a significant effect on Organizational Effectiveness and Employee Performance. Organizational Effectiveness mediates Manager Learning Style and Leadership Style on Employee Performance. The most dominant variable in influencing Organizational Effectiveness and Employee Performance needs to be considered. The variable is Manager Learning Style, with Manager Learning Style, employees feel more motivated and their performance increases.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the morphological changes and surface roughness of titanium alloy dental implants affected by variations in TiO2 sandblasting pressure in the SA technique. A laboratory experimental study was conducted using 25 titanium alloy samples measured 10x10x2mm began with pre-treatment surface roughness testing. Sandblasting with TiO2 was then performed at different pressures: no sandblasting (negative control), 500 kPa, 600 kPa, 700 kPa, and 800 kPa for 20 seconds, 20 mm distance, and 90° angle. Acid etching with 98% H2SO4 was carried out at 60°C for 60 minutes. Post-treatment surface roughness was measured and morphological changes were observed. The normality test was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk test, then One-Way ANOVA statistical test was performed to evaluate the significance of the difference in Ra between groups. The results showed that the no-sandblasting group had a significantly lower surface roughness value than the sandblasted groups. SEM results revealed uniform morphology in sandblasted groups, and the 500 kPa group resulted in the deepest and most homogeneous porosity. In conclusion, variations in TiO2 sandblasting pressure affect the morphology and surface roughness of titanium alloy, with 500 kPa providing the most optimal results for roughness and morphology. Keywords: surface roughness; surface morpholog; osseointegration; sandblasting pressure; TiO2    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perubahan morfologi dan kekasaran permukaan implan gigi titanium alloy yang dipengaruhi oleh variasi tekanan sandblasting TiO2 dalam teknik SA. Studi eksperimental laboratorium dilakukan menggunakan 25 sampel titanium alloy berukuran 10x10x2 mm, diawali dengan pengujian kekasaran permukaan sebelum perlakuan. Sandblasting TiO2 dilakukan dengan tekanan berbeda-beda: tanpa sandblasting (kontrol negatif), 500 kPa, 600 kPa, 700 kPa, dan 800 kPa selama 20 detik, jarak 20 mm, dan sudut 90°. Acid etching dengan H2SO4 98% dilakukan pada 60°C selama 60 menit. Kekasaran permukaan setelah perlakuan diukur serta perubahan morfologik. Uji normalitas dilakukan dengan uji Shapiro-Wilk, kemudian uji statistik One-Way ANOVA dilakukan untuk melihat signifikansi perbedaan Ra antar kelompok. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kelompok tanpa sandblasting memiliki nilai kekasaran lebih rendah secara bermakna dibandingkan kelompok dengan sandblasting. Hasil SEM menunjukkan morfologi seragam pada kelompok sandblasting, dengan kelompok 500 kPa menghasilkan porositas terdalam dan paling homogen. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah variasi tekanan sandblasting TiO2 memengaruhi morfologi dan kekasaran permukaan titanium alloy, dengan tekanan 500 kPa memberikan hasil paling optimal dalam hal kekasaran dan morfologi. Abstract

Abstract: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and often presents with malignant ulcers prone to infection. These wounds are difficult to manage, especially during chemotherapy, due to polymicrobial colonization and rising antibiotic resistance. Stingless bee propolis, rich in bioactive flavonoids, has shown promising antibacterial properties. This study aimed to evaluate in vitro antibacterial effectiveness of stingless bee propolis against bacteria from breast cancer ulcers. This was an in vitro study conducted at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Manado Medical Laboratory (July 2024–January 2025). Methanol-extracted stingless bee propolis was tested against MRSA and P. aeruginosa using disc diffusion, MIC, and MBC methods. Antibacterial activity was evaluated through inhibition zones and bacterial growth in serial dilutions. The outcomes were analyzed based on inhibition zone diameters and bacterial growth in serial dilutions. The results showed that propolis extract demonstrated antibacterial activity against MRSA and P. aeruginosa, with inhibition zones observed in both disc diffusion and dilution methods. Strong inhibition was noted at concentrations ≥80%, while minimal or no effect occurred below 30%. MIC and MBC were estimated at around 20%. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant dose-response relationship (ANOVA, p 0.0003), with stronger correlation in MRSA (R=0.84; p<0.001) than P. aeruginosa (R=–0.09; p 0.046). The minimum effective concentration was estimated at 32% for MRSA and 37% for P. aeruginosa. In conclusion, stingless bee propolis demonstrated concentration-dependent antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive (MRSA) and Gram-negative (P. aeruginosa) bacteria in vitro, with increased activity observed at higher concentrations. Minimum effective concentrations were 32% for MRSA and 37% for P. aeruginosa, supporting its potential use in treating infected breast cancer ulcers. These findings highlight propolis as a potential natural alternative for infection control and wound healing. Keywords: breast cancer; ulcer; stingless bee; propolis; antibacterial effect

Abstract

Research Aims: This study explores the contribution of green knowledge and servant leadership to green innovation, with green self-efficacy acting as a mediating variable, within the context of hospitality enterprises in the Toba Caldera Geopark region. It aims to examine how green self-efficacy mediates the relationship between green knowledge, servant leadership, and green innovation, addressing an empirical gap in geotourism-related studies in Indonesia.Design/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected from 80 hospitality employees operating in the Toba Caldera Toba Caldera Geopark area using structured questionnaires. The relationships among the variables were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).Research Findings: The findings show that both green knowledge and servant leadership significantly and positively influence green self-efficacy. Furthermore, green self-efficacy is confirmed as a significant mediator in the relationship with green innovation. The indirect effects mediated by self-efficacy were found to be stronger than the direct effects, emphasizing the role of psychological confidence in fostering employee-driven innovation.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to the literature on sustainable hospitality management by highlighting the role of self-efficacy in green innovation models. It also expands the understanding of how green knowledge and servant leadership interact to promote environmentally friendly behavior in hospitality enterprises.Practical Implications: The study underscores the need for hotel management to enhance environmental training programs and adopt a servant leadership style that encourages green initiatives. It provides practical strategies for improving sustainability efforts in hospitality businesses, especially in geotourism destinations.Research Limitations/Implications: The study is limited by its geographic focus on the Toba Caldera Geopark region, and its findings may not be directly applicable to other regions or sectors. Future research with a broader sample and across diverse geotourism contexts is needed to generalize the results.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi peserta pelatihan Microsoft Office Word adalah rendahnya literasi digital aparat Desa Mranggen. Sebagian besar belum memahami cara menggunakan Microsoft Word secara maksimal. Akibatnya, laporan yang mereka buat seringkali berantakan, tidak konsisten, sulit dibaca, dan tidak sesuai dengan standar administrasi yang berlaku. Permasalahan lain yang menonjol adalah kurangnya pelatihan atau pendampingan teknologi secara berkala. Beberapa staf masih menulis laporan secara manual atau menggunakan format seadanya, sehingga menghambat proses dokumentasi dan pelaporan yang cepat dan akurat. Selain itu, sarana dan prasarana pendukung kegiatan digitalisasi juga terbatas. Tak kalah pentingnya, kecanggungan dan keraguan dalam menggunakan teknologi juga menjadi faktor penghambat. Tujuan yang diharapkan adalah meningkatkan keterampilan dasar dan lanjutan peserta dalam menggunakan Microsoft Word, terutama dalam penyusunan dan pengelolaan laporan; mendorong transformasi digital sumber daya manusia lokal melalui peningkatan literasi teknologi informasi; membantu peserta menghasilkan dokumen dan laporan administrasi yang rapi, sistematis, dan terstandar; serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya penguasaan perangkat digital untuk mendukung efisiensi dan efektivitas kerja. Solusi yang diberikan melalui pelatihan Microsoft Word bersifat praktis, terstruktur, dan aplikatif, dengan pendekatan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Untuk memastikan efektivitas pelatihan, metode partisipatif seperti demonstrasi langsung, simulasi, praktik individu, dan diskusi kelompok akan digunakan. Hasil pelatihan, serta tes pra dan pasca, menunjukkan bahwa 6 peserta, atau 75%, memahami dan hafal menu praktik yang disediakan. Satu peserta, atau 12,5%, masih bingung dan lupa cara menggunakan menu yang disediakan. Satu peserta, atau 12,5%, kesulitan mengingat menu yang disediakan karena usia.

Abstract

Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan, terutama pada kelompok remaja dan dewasa muda yang memiliki kerentanan tinggi akibat perilaku seksual berisiko, rendahnya literasi kesehatan seksual, serta hambatan akses layanan. Perkembangan teknologi digital membuka peluang baru dalam strategi promosi kesehatan melalui media sosial, aplikasi kesehatan (mHealth), website edukatif, dan layanan konseling daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas promosi kesehatan berbasis media digital dalam pencegahan IMS pada remaja dan dewasa muda melalui pendekatan literature review. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA, melalui pencarian artikel pada database ilmiah seperti PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar dalam rentang 10–15 tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi digital secara signifikan meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap positif terhadap perilaku seks aman, self-efficacy, serta niat dan penggunaan kondom. Intervensi yang berbasis teori perilaku seperti Health Belief Model (HBM), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), Information–Motivation–Behavioral Skills Model (IMB), dan COM-B cenderung lebih efektif dibandingkan intervensi tanpa dasar teoretis. Media digital juga mampu mengurangi hambatan psikologis seperti stigma melalui anonimitas dan akses fleksibel. Namun, bukti mengenai dampak langsung terhadap penurunan angka kejadian IMS masih terbatas dan memerlukan penelitian longitudinal lebih lanjut. Disimpulkan bahwa promosi kesehatan berbasis media digital merupakan strategi inovatif dan potensial dalam pencegahan IMS pada remaja dan dewasa muda, terutama jika dirancang secara interaktif, berbasis teori, serta terintegrasi dengan layanan kesehatan yang tersedia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital dan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah mentransformasi cara remaja mengakses informasi kesehatan, termasuk kesehatan reproduksi. Sebagai generasi digital native, remaja cenderung memanfaatkan internet, media sosial, dan aplikasi kesehatan sebagai sumber utama informasi dibandingkan layanan tatap muka konvensional yang sering kali terhambat oleh stigma dan keterbatasan akses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran platform digital dan AI dalam meningkatkan akses, kualitas, serta efektivitas edukasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan pendekatan naratif terhadap artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang diterbitkan pada periode 2014–2024 dan diperoleh melalui database Google Scholar, PubMed, dan ScienceDirect. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis web, media sosial, mobile health (mHealth), serta chatbot berbasis AI berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi kesehatan reproduksi, pembentukan sikap yang lebih positif, serta penguatan perilaku preventif pada remaja. Pemanfaatan AI memungkinkan personalisasi materi edukasi, pemberian respons secara instan, serta interaksi anonim yang meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam membahas isu sensitif. Namun, implementasi teknologi ini masih menghadapi tantangan berupa misinformasi digital, potensi bias algoritma, kesenjangan akses internet, dan risiko pelanggaran privasi data kesehatan. Dengan demikian, integrasi teknologi digital dan AI berpotensi memperkuat edukasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja secara inklusif dan adaptif, tetapi memerlukan regulasi, pengawasan, serta peningkatan literasi digital untuk menjamin keamanan dan akurasi informasi.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of right speech and compassion communication on organizational commitment, with mindfulness serving as a mediating variable, within the Guang Ji Indonesian Buddhist Council (MABGI), North Sumatra Province. The research employed a quantitative explanatory design. The research population consisted of administrators and active members of MABGI who are directly involved in organizational activities. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 170 respondents was selected based on their level of participation in organizational programs. The study utilized primary data, collected through a structured questionnaire distributed directly to respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that right speech and compassion communication have positive and significant effects on mindfulness and organizational commitment. Furthermore, mindfulness positively influences organizational commitment and partially mediates the relationships between both right speech and organizational commitment, as well as compassion communication and organizational commitment. These findings suggest that communication practices grounded in ethical values and compassion enhance organizational commitment both directly and indirectly through increased mindful awareness. The study contributes theoretically by integrating the concept of right speech from Buddhist teachings into the fields of organizational communication and human resource management, while highlighting mindfulness as a key psychological mechanism in value-based non-profit organizations. Practically, the findings provide insights for Buddhist religious organizations in developing ethical, empathetic, and mindful communication practices to strengthen sustainable member commitment.

Abstract

his study examines the effects of Metta and Karuna values in Buddhist leadership on Prosocial Work Behavior, with Value Congruence as a mediating variable, within the Indonesian Buddhist Representative Organization (WALUBI). A quantitative survey approach was employed. The research population comprised leaders and active members of WALUBI, from which 150 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on organizational involvement criteria. The study utilized primary data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed both directly and online. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that Metta Leadership positively influences Value Congruence but does not directly affect Prosocial Work Behavior. In contrast, Karuna Leadership has a positive and significant effect on both Value Congruence and Prosocial Work Behavior. Furthermore, Value Congruence significantly affects Prosocial Work Behavior, acting as a full mediator in the relationship between Metta Leadership and Prosocial Work Behavior, and as a partial mediator in the relationship between Karuna Leadership and Prosocial Work Behavior. These results indicate that Buddhist leadership values require processes of internalization and value alignment to be effectively translated into prosocial work behavior. The study contributes theoretically to the literature on spiritual and Buddhist leadership by highlighting the strategic role of Value Congruence as a key mechanism linking leadership values and prosocial behavior. Practically, the findings provide insights for non-profit religious organizations to strengthen the integration of leadership values into organizational practices in order to foster sustainable prosocial work behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of workload, work environment, and work motivation on employee performance at PT Harindra Jaya Transport Semarang. The research involved a total population and sample of 85 employees, using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26, which included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing with t-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) test. The research results show that workload has a partial positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 4.269.
