A conducive working environment, both physically and psychologically, can increase employee motivation and comfort at work. Meanwhile, smooth and effective internal communication between employees and superiors supports the smooth flow of information and teamwork. Therefore, this study aims to examine how these three factors affect the work productivity of employees at Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the work environment, competence, and internal communication simultaneously affect the work productivity of employees at Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire technique, with a sample of 107 respondents. The results showed that the multiple linear regression was Y 21.170 + 0.143 X1 + 0.316 X2 + + 0.144 X3 + 3.820. Where the coefficient has a positive value, it means that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship between the variables of Work Environment (X1), Competence (X2) and Internal Communication (X3) with a value of 0 (zero), then the Work Productivity of Employees at Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. The results of the Work Environment (XI) test show that t count 2.462 > t table 1.659 and significance 0.015 < 0.05, so the results of the Ha hypothesis are accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that the Work Environment (XI) has a positive and significant effect on the Work Productivity of Employees. The Competence (X2) test results show that t count 5.333 > t table 1.659 and significance 0.000 < 0.05, so the results of the Ha hypothesis are accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that Competence (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the Work Productivity of Employees. The results of the Internal Communication test (X3) show that t count 2.532 > t table 1.659 and significance 0.015 < 0.05, so the results of the Ha hypothesis are accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that Internal Communication (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the Work Productivity of Employees at Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. Based on a comparison of F count with F table, the value F count is greater than F table, namely 15.549 > 2.46. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a simultaneous influence between the Work Environment (XI), Competence (X2), and Internal Communication (X3) on the Work Productivity (Y) of Employees at Regional Secretariat of Seluma Regency. This can be seen at a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

The results of the multiple regression test showed a positive trend with the regression equation Y = 5.715 + 0.184X1 + 0.398X2 + 0.306X3 + 3.592. Variable X1 (Work-Life Balance) has a significant effect on Y (Work Productivity), as evidenced by the significance value of 0.036 <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hypothesis 1 is accepted. Variable X2 (Work Ethic) has a significant effect on Y (work productivity) this can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 <0.05. then it can be concluded that hypothesis 2 is accepted. Variable X3 (human relations) has a significant effect on Y (work productivity) this can be seen from the significance value of 0.001 <0.05, then it can be concluded that hypothesis 3 is accepted. The results of the simultaneous test then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, between the independent variables namely X1 (work life balance), X2 (work ethic), X3 (human relations), have a significant effect together on work productivity (Y) because the significance value of 0.000 is small from 0.05.

Abstract

Human resources are an important factor in determining the success of an organization, including educational institutions. Improvements in the quality of human resources can be reflected in the optimal performance of teachers and staff. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership, work environment, and training on the performance of teachers and administrative staff at SMKN 2 Bengkulu City. This study used a quantitative approach with a population of 148 people and a sample of 74 respondents through accidental sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 25. The results show that leadership (X1), work environment (X2), and training (X3) have a significant and positive effect on the performance of teachers and staff at SMK Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu (Y). Partially, leadership has a significant effect with a t-value (2.445) > t-table (1.653) and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. The work environment also has a significant effect with a t-value (2.589) > t-table (1.667) and a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. Training has the strongest effect with a t-value (3.763) > t-table (1.667) and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the three independent variables (leadership, work environment, and training) had a significant effect on the performance of teachers and staff with a t-value (7.894) > t-table (2.73) and a significance level of 0.03 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.781 indicates that 78.1% of the variation in teacher and staff performance is influenced by these three variables, while the remaining 21.9% is influenced by other factors outside this study. The regression equation obtained is:Y = 31.901 + 0.579X₁ + 0.296X₂ + 0.153X₃ + 8.768,which shows that any increase in leadership, work environment, and training will positively improve teacher and staff performance.
