Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen digital mindsets and encourage business transformation in the Society 5.0 era for local business owners and student entrepreneurs in Palu City. The activity was designed as a participatory workshop that integrated the presentation of the Society 5.0 concept (a super-intelligent society that places humans at the center of technology-based innovation) and digital mindset (an adaptive way of thinking that utilizes digital technology as part of a long-term business strategy) with hands-on practice using digital applications for marketing and business management. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests, satisfaction questionnaires, and observations of 50 participants. The results showed an increase in the average score of understanding digital mindsets from 68,20 to 85,40, with 85% of participants stating that the activity was very beneficial and 75% stating that they were ready to implement business digitalization strategies. Student entrepreneur participants showed faster adaptation to digital applications compared to senior business owners, who still needed further mentoring. These findings indicate that strengthening digital mindsets combined with practical training has the potential to effectively encourage gradual digital-based business transformation and increase entrepreneurial competitiveness in Palu City in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The development of media and communication technology has become a crucial factor driving the process of globalization and influencing changes in the social, cultural, political, and economic structures of global society. This article aims to analyze the relationship between media, technology, and globalization through four theoretical perspectives: technological determinism, cultural determinism, cultural imperialism, and post-colonialism in the formation of global identity. This study demonstrates that communication technology plays a significant role in shaping patterns of social interaction, but its interpretation remains influenced by the social and cultural context. In the current of media globalization, the dominance of Western culture through the global media industry is often understood as a form of cultural imperialism, although global dynamics also show the emergence of influences from non-Western countries. A post-colonial approach is used to critique the inequality of representation and power relations within the global media system. The study's findings indicate that media globalization produces a hybrid cultural identity, a blend of local and global elements, and opens up space for identity negotiation and resistance to the dominance of certain cultures. Therefore, a critical understanding of the relationship between media, technology, and globalization is crucial in interpreting the dynamics of global communication in the digital era.

Abstract

The Pious Children's Festival is an educational and religious activity aimed at instilling Islamic values from an early age through various competitions and positive activities, such as Quran memorization, the call to prayer, lectures, and daily worship practices, which are generally organized by educational institutions, mosques, or community organizations. Through a fun and competitive approach, this activity can increase children's interest in learning and practicing religious teachings in their daily lives. In addition, the Pious Children's Festival also plays a role in shaping children's character by instilling the values of honesty, discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence, while developing social skills such as communication and cooperation through interaction with peers. This activity also strengthens the relationship between family, school, and community, because it involves the active participation of parents and teachers in accompanying and motivating children, so that it is not only a competition, but also a means of developing a young generation with noble morals and based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Although internal factors such as motivation have increasingly received attention in language learning research, studies that specifically examine the role of prior ability (entry behavior) as a moderator in the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement remain limited. This study aims to analyze the role of prior ability in moderating the relationship between learning motivation and Arabic language learning achievement. This study employed a quantitative correlational approach with a moderation design, involving 40 sixth-grade students of SD Islam Ar-Raafi selected through total sampling. The research process was conducted during the odd semester in November 2025. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure learning motivation and score documentation for prior ability and learning achievement, and were then analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that learning motivation, with a mean of 85.98, and prior ability, with a mean of 87.77, were in the moderate category, whereas learning achievement, with a mean of 89.25, was classified as good. The MRA analysis proved that prior ability significantly strengthened the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement, as indicated by a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05 and an interaction coefficient of 0.002. This study also found an anomaly in that students’ high ambition was sometimes accompanied by amotivation in the form of loss of focus in understanding the material. These findings contribute to the development of motivation theory in educational psychology while broadening understanding of language acquisition. The conclusion of this study confirms that high motivation will have an optimal impact on learning achievement when supported by strong prior ability, so teachers need to provide a review of basic material through a matriculation program. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions to the literature on prior ability in Arabic language learning and practical implications for educational institutions to facilitate enrichment programs, while also opening opportunities for further research using a qualitative approach related to factors of students’ learning confusion.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Nilai Tukar; Peramalan; Dekomposisi Multiplikatif; Prophet; MAPE.The exchange rate between USD and Rupiah has a significant impact on Indonesia's economy, making accurate forecasting essential for economic decision-making. This study compares the Multiplicative Decomposition method and the Prophet method in forecasting the USD to Rupiah exchange rate. Monthly exchange rate data from 2018 to 2023 was used, with an 80% training set and a 20% test set. The final model for the Multiplicative Decomposition method combines the trend, seasonal, and cycle components multiplicatively, allowing for a detailed representation of the exchange rate's behavior over time. In contrast, the Prophet method produces a final model that incorporates trend and seasonal components additively, while also accommodating dynamic changes in the trend through automatic detection of changepoints.. The accuracy of both methods was evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Results show that the Multiplicative Decomposition method had a MAPE of 1.21%, while the Prophet method had a MAPE of 5.43%. These findings indicate that the Multiplicative Decomposition method is more accurate in forecasting the exchange rate for the given period, making it more suitable for this dataset, which exhibits strong seasonal patterns. Keywords: Exchange rate; forecasting; Multiplicative Decomposition; Prophet; MAPE.
