Abstract

This study explains that the main idea of tolerance education lies in how everyone who comes from a different background can then be respected and accepted well so that a peaceful life can be realized in a plural and homogeneous society. To realize this, the authors put forward several principles that are used as the basis, namely: Pancasila as the basis of the state and the 1945 Constitution as well as strengthening the Koran which explains "la ikhraha fi al-din" (there is no compulsion in religion) and the sentence lakum dinukum wa liyadin (for you Your religion and mine is mine. This verse is a strong proof of the Quran's appreciation of religious pluralism, which then requires that every adherent of his religion have a moderate and tolerant.

Abstract

If education is not managed effectively, it will remain incomplete and produce suboptimal results. Additionally, the predominant workforce in Indonesian society often leads to less-than-optimal supervision of children, resulting in workplace anxiety and discomfort due to inadequate childcare. The discrepancy between school hours and parents' working hours often leads to neglect of children's studies. Consequently, the author is deeply motivated to elucidate the research objectives, which focus on identifying the model or format of curriculum hybridization suitable for children of workers and determining the necessary preparations for implementing such a hybrid curriculum at SD Muhammadiyah Warungboto Yogyakarta. This research aims to provide insights into appropriate curriculum hybridization and the requisite preparations for its implementation. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, drawing upon several references related to curriculum hybridization. The findings underscore the crucial necessity of curriculum hybridization, particularly in fostering parental comfort with the educational system by integrating play theory and children's games into the school curriculum. SD Muhammadiyah Warungboto serves as a pivotal institution for developing and strengthening a curriculum tailored to the needs of children from working families. Preparatory measures encompass infrastructure enhancements, provision of playgrounds and gaming facilities, accommodation facilities, counseling services, teacher training initiatives, and the recruitment of instructors specializing in talent and the arts. In conclusion, the research highlights the significance of curriculum hybridization for children of working parents, given the prevalent 8-hour workday norm. The integration of the national curriculum with elements of play and games is paramount. Such integration demands comprehensive preparations, not only concerning infrastructure and teacher readiness but also in tailoring the curriculum to suit the unique needs and conditions of the children.

Abstract

Domestic sexual violence is a hidden form of gender-based crime that often goes unreported due to prevailing social norms and its status as a complaint-based offense. These conditions create serious obstacles to law enforcement and hinder victims from obtaining justice, ideally including immediate restitution and comprehensive protection from the state. This study explores the effectiveness of restitution as a criminal sanction in cases of domestic sexual violence, analyzed through the perspective of justice values in both positive law and Islamic law in the contemporary context. The research employs a normative juridical method, using a statutory approach by examining relevant legal instruments and Islamic legal principles. The findings reveal that although restitution is formally recognized in various laws—such as the Domestic Violence Law, the Law on Witness and Victim Protection, the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes (TPKS), and the 2023 Criminal Code—its enforcement remains limited. This is due to structural and cultural challenges, including weak legal awareness, ineffective implementation mechanisms, and the perpetrators’ inability to fulfill restitution obligations. From the perspective of Islamic law, the concept of compensation (Taʿwid) supports the idea of restoring victims' rights, but its application requires reinterpretation to fit the modern legal system. This study offers a new perspective by emphasizing the need to move beyond fines toward mandatory restitution, integrating restorative justice principles and strengthening institutional and cultural support. These steps are crucial for building a justice system that is more responsive, fair, and centered on the recovery and dignity of victims.

Abstract

To facilitate non-litigation case resolution, the criminal justice system in Indonesia has implemented restorative justice through the Prosecutor's Regulation and the Police Regulation. Nevertheless, the practical implementation of restorative justice in cases of minor assault continues to encounter a variety of challenges. Consequently, this investigation aims to evaluate how restorative justice is implemented to resolve instances of minor assault. This investigation implements a normative legal research methodology. The study's findings suggest that Indonesia's criminal justice system has initiated the implementation of restorative justice as an alternative to traditional court procedures for resolving cases, particularly minor crimes. This approach emphasizes dialogue and the restoration of relationships. This method aims to mitigate the burden on judicial institutions, prevent societal resentment, and reduce criminalization and stigma. Nevertheless, its implementation is impeded by a lack of understanding, limited legal regulations, and minimal support from the community and victims. To achieve success, it is necessary to implement more stringent regulations, provide law enforcement officers with training, and engage the community.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a serious social problem and requires special attention from the legal aspect in order to protect victims comprehensively. This journal discusses legal protection for victims of domestic violence with a focus on three main aspects, namely victims' rights, reporting mechanisms and temporary protection, and efforts to restore and assist victims. First, the rights of victims of domestic violence are guaranteed by Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, which includes the right to physical and psychological protection, health services, legal assistance, and guarantees of the confidentiality of the victim's identity. These rights aim to provide a sense of security and support the victim's recovery process comprehensively. Second, the reporting mechanism and temporary protection are crucial initial steps in handling cases of domestic violence. Victims or their attorneys can report violence to the police, who are required to provide temporary protection within 1x24 hours after the report is received, valid for seven days while waiting for the determination of protection from the court. This protection includes physical and psychological security so that victims are protected from threats from the perpetrator during the legal process. Third, efforts to restore and assist victims are an important part of the rehabilitation process for victims of domestic violence. Assistance includes psychological counseling, legal advocacy, and spiritual guidance carried out by professional staff and related institutions in an integrated manner. This approach aims to restore the physical and mental condition of the victim and ensure that their rights are optimally restored. This journal concludes that legal protection for victims of domestic violence must be comprehensive, covering aspects of protection, law enforcement, and recovery so that victims can obtain justice and a decent life after experiencing violence. Effective implementation requires synergy between law enforcement officers, social institutions, and the community.
