Abstract

The study entitled Multireligious Culture for the Development of Tolerance Character was motivated by the idealism of schools as safe spaces that facilitate interfaith interaction. However, reality shows that there is bullying against Catholic students, exclusion of Hindu students, and feelings of marginalization among non-Muslim teachers due to the lack of multireligious interaction. This condition prompted the school to initiate a multireligious culture as a strategy to strengthen tolerance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the implementation of a multireligious culture, the profile of the school community's tolerance character, and its contribution to the development of student tolerance. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with informants selected using purposive sampling, including the principal, teachers, and students of Islam, Catholicism, and Hinduism. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity testing using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that: 1) multireligious culture is interpreted as a system of values, beliefs, and social practices based on three layers of culture (basic assumptions, values, and artifacts) that emphasize harmony and non-discrimination; 2) the character of tolerance is reflected through six indicators: recognition of differences, mutual respect, freedom of belief, coexistence, self-control, and justice; 3) the contribution of multireligious culture to the development of the character of tolerance takes place systematically through three layers of culture. First, artifacts in the form of symbols of love and joint activities between religious adherents; second, embraced values, namely mutual respect, harmony, and justice, are instilled through vision & mission, rules and regulations, and role models; third, the underlying assumptions of the school community are that diverse religious beliefs are a natural reality and that human relationships are inclusive, egalitarian, and collaborative.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has become a strategic priority in higher education institutions in response to rapid economic transformation and the growing demand for innovative human resources. This study aims to synthesize and categorize contemporary models of entrepreneurship learning to identify dominant pedagogical patterns and strategic directions for implementation. Using a qualitative literature review approach, thirty empirical and conceptual studies were analyzed to examine their learning models, findings, and recommendations. The analysis reveals four major thematic clusters. First, experiential and practice-based models (such as Teaching Factory, project-based learning, production-based training, and experiential-reflective frameworks) emphasize authentic engagement and real-world business simulation to develop entrepreneurial competence and mindset. Second, curriculum integration and institutional ecosystem support highlight the importance of structured learning pathways, policy alignment, and industry collaboration. Third, social and collaborative approaches underscore entrepreneurship as a socially constructed process shaped by teamwork, mentorship, community engagement, and networks. Fourth, innovation-driven and context-responsive models integrate digital technologies, game-based learning, and culturally grounded approaches to enhance relevance and adaptability. The findings indicate that effective entrepreneurship education requires a holistic ecosystem that integrates experiential pedagogy, institutional commitment, collaborative processes, and technological innovation. Successful implementation depends on curriculum coherence, qualified educators, adequate infrastructure, and continuous evaluation mechanisms. This study contributes to the theoretical and practical development of entrepreneurship education by offering an integrated framework that supports the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset, competence, and sustainable societal impact.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing the value of responsibility through a worship habituation program in increasing the religious awareness of elementary school students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SDIT Luqman Al Hakim 2 Yogyakarta. The research subjects consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of school activities related to the implementation of worship habituation. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the internalization of the value of responsibility occurs through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. These stages are implemented through various structured and continuous worship habituation activities, including dhuha prayer, congregational prayer, dhikr, Qur’an recitation, and morning assemblies. Through these activities, students gain cognitive understanding of responsibility in worship and gradually develop affective awareness and behavioral practice in daily life. The study indicates that worship habituation serves as an effective medium for internalizing responsibility values and strengthening students’ religious awareness, contributing to the development of character education based on religious values in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the process of character development and academic services implemented in Special Sports Classes (SSC) at State Senior High School 1 Pengasih. It identifies key character values emphasized in student development, including discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and perseverance, and explores student motivation, academic support, challenges, interactions, and the achievements and expectations of student athletes, teachers, coaches, and program coordinators. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, trainers, students, and SSC administrators. The findings show that student athletes are motivated to enhance their knowledge and skills in sports, develop personal potential, and benefit from structured support within the SSC program. Their interest in joining SSC varies, beginning from elementary to junior high school levels. Academic services are generally supportive, with flexible schedules and additional assistance provided by subject teachers when students miss lessons due to training or competitions. However, scheduling conflicts between training and academic activities remain a key challenge, although these are often mitigated through adaptive learning support. Interactions among teachers, coaches, and students foster positive communication and emotional support, helping students manage stress through constructive strategies. Student achievements have reached the national level, with aspirations extending to international competitions. Nevertheless, academic services are not yet fully optimized, as they do not sufficiently differentiate SSC students from regular or inclusive programs. Additional challenges include the lack of specialized programs and logistical constraints such as long travel distances. These findings provide practical insights and policy recommendations for improving SSC implementation and supporting athlete-centered education.

Abstract

The development of Islamic religious education learning materials is crucial in the era of globalization and technological advancement, which indirectly demands renewal and innovation in Islamic religious education learning materials to produce high-quality, relevant, and up-to-date materials that meet the needs of students and can be applied in everyday life. In reality, the development of Islamic religious education learning materials at SDN 0723 Parmainan still faces various challenges, including a lack of integration between general knowledge and Islamic religious education, failing to address global issues, and still focusing primarily on the cognitive domain. In this condition, an in-depth evaluation of the material development is necessary by examining the effectiveness, relevance, and meaningfulness of the material. This study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model and was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analytical framework. The results showed that the evaluation of the development of Islamic religious education materials in terms of content, input, process, and product at SDN 0723 Parmainan was classified as good, but still requires several improvements, including the use of learning technology and providing adequate worship facilities so that the goals of Islamic religious education can be achieved optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of organizational communication strategies in improving the quality of educational services in Vocational High Schools (SMK). The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with school leaders, teachers, and education personnel. Data were then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that organizational communication strategies in vocational high schools are implemented through a combination of formal and informal two-way communication. This communication plays a crucial role in strengthening work coordination, enhancing teacher professionalism, streamlining educational services, and encouraging improvements in the quality of learning. However, the implementation of organizational communication strategies still faces obstacles such as differences in individual character, differing perceptions of policies, and the sudden delivery of online information that lacks direct explanation. Solutions implemented include leadership introspection, an adaptive communication approach, strengthening two-way discussion forums, and evaluating the effectiveness of the communication media used. This study concludes that an open, participatory, and well-managed organizational communication strategy is a key factor in improving the quality of educational services in vocational high schools.
