Abstract

The characteristics of adolescent students (aged 10–19 years) at the Senior High School (SMA) level demand an effective learning design that supports body health and physical fitness. Creative rhythmic gymnastics accompanied by music is a relevant physical activity proven to reduce stress, improve school performance, and develop students' physical, cognitive, and social qualities. This community service focused on "Cheerful Adolescent Rhythmic Gymnastics Training Towards a Fitter Indonesia 2045 (SRRC)" at SMA Negeri 3 Salatiga. The activity utilized a three-stage training method (Preparation, Implementation, Evaluation) and involved 121 participants. The activity ran smoothly with high enthusiasm, where 80% to 90% of students were able to imitate the SRRC movements which are oriented towards elements of physical fitness (flexibility, balance, coordination, explosive power, and speed). The unique feature of SRRC is the integration of local regional music to foster Nationalism and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity). The movement sequence included a Warm-up, creative Core Movements, and a Cool-down. Overall, the activity provided a significant positive impact on the physical, psychological, and social aspects of adolescent students, contributing to the improvement of adolescents' quality of life and supporting the Fitter Indonesia 2045 vision. It is hoped that similar activities can be continued sustainably.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Local Culture-Based Outing Class Guide as an edu-recreational program and an education tourism innovation for elementary school students in Jepara Regency. The background of this research is the low level of students' physical activity, limited social interaction, and the lack of structured, outing class guidelines that integrate local cultural values. this research employed a Reseach and Development (R&D) approach using the Borg and Gall model. the subjects involved elementary elementary school student, physical education teachers, outing class practitioners, and expert validators. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, observation, and expert validation sheets. The results showed that the developed guide integrates experiental learning principles, traditional games, local cultural values, and educational tourism concepts. Expert validation result indicated that the product was highly feasible, with an average feasibility score above 85%. student and teacher responses also showed positive perceptions regarding enjoyment, learning experiences, and cultural appreciation. The study concludes that the Local Cultur-Based Outing Class Guide is suitable to be used as an edu-recreational learning medium and has potential to support physical activity, character education, and local cultural preservation in elementary schools

Abstract

The global epidemic of sedentary lifestyles and excessive gadget use has severely degraded the physical fitness of elementary school students, specifically their agility and cardiovascular endurance. While traditional games like Gobak Sodor offer motor skill benefits, they often lack precise physiological intensity control and utilize passive elimination systems. This study aims to develop and evaluate "Go Ben," a modified Gobak Sodor game designed using the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA) to combat sedentary behaviors. Employing the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study involved Grade 5 students across five elementary schools in the Cirebon region. Participants were selected utilizing a purposive sampling technique, which initially involved a sample of 12 to 15 students for the preliminary field test, before expanding to a main sample of 60 students for operational field testing. The CLA framework was applied to manipulate task, environmental, and individual constraints, replacing passive elimination with active penalties and introducing cognitive tools like "Magic Cards". Following expert validation that scored the model at 95.3% feasibility, a quasi-experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design was conducted on the 60 sampled students. The results demonstrated that the "Go Ben" intervention significantly enhanced agility, with median shuttle run times decreasing from 12.45 to 11.24 seconds (p < 0.001). Additionally, cardiovascular endurance improved significantly, with median Bleep Test scores rising from 18.54 to 20.00 (p < 0.001), successfully outperforming conventional physical education methods (p = 0.045). Ultimately, this CLA-modified game serves as a highly effective, continuous-flow physical training instrument designed to optimize students' physical conditioning, prevent early obesity, and simultaneously preserve local cultural heritage.

Abstract

This study develops a technopreneurship-based physical education model that integrates traditional South Sumatran games to enhance elementary students’ physical fitness and critical thinking. Using a development research design with pretest-posttest, the model was implemented in selected schools through planning, implementation, and evaluation phases. Data were collected via observation, performance assessments, and questionnaires. The model includes structured stages: preparation, warm-up, core activities using circuit-based traditional games, and reflective closing sessions. It was validated by experts and tested in the field. Results show significant improvements in students’ physical fitness and critical thinking abilities, alongside high engagement and participation. This model promotes active, culturally grounded learning by revitalizing local heritage within physical education. It offers an effective and practical alternative to conventional methods, aligning with technopreneurship, edupreneurship, culturalpreneurship, and critical thinking preneurship. The model supports sustainable educational development by merging physical health, cultural preservation, and 21st-century skills.

Abstract

In the transportation sector, motorized vehicles are currently a contributor to pollution in Indonesia, producing CO2 emissions. In an effort to achieve environmentally friendly and low-carbon motorized vehicles, promoting electric cars to the public is an important strategy that is being pursued by countries throughout the world. The large target of converting ICE cars to electric cars requires a series of analyzes to accelerate efforts to convert the use of electric cars from various angles which will ultimately be successful as a promotional medium for potential electric car users. To carry out this analysis, there is one calculation method, namely calculating the total cost of ownership (TCO) of an electric car. This method has been studied in countries that are concerned with promoting the use of electric cars. In this research, we will present a calculation model for the TCO of electric cars and the TCO of conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) cars as a comparison. The cars analyzed in this research consist of several electric cars and ICE cars according to their respective performance levels, where for each electric car an analysis of several battery ownership schemes is also attempted, namely those owned by the car owner, rental batteries and those owned by the car owner. However, some components can be repaired. The calculation model will consist of capital and operational costs, namely the purchase price, resale value, government subsidies, retailer discounts, battery replacement costs, maintenance, insurance, vehicle tax and energy consumption costs.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penurunan jumlah gigi dan oklusi gigi posterior dapat memengaruhi kemampuan mengunyah yang dapat berakibat pada berkurangnya asupan nutrisi. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada aktivitas otot, terutama masa dan kekuatan otot yang tercermin melalui kekuatan genggaman tangan.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara jumlah gigi dan jumlah oklusi gigi posterior dengan kekuatan genggaman tangan populasi lansia di Yogyakarta.Metode: Penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional dilakukan pada 75 lansia berusia ≥60 tahun. Pemeriksaan rongga mulut dilakukan oleh empat dokter gigi terlatih. Pemeriksaan Indeks Masa Tubuh dan pemeriksaan fisik dilakukan oleh dua higienis gigi terlatih. Gigi dihitung dengan menjumlahkan gigi asli, jumlah oklusi gigi dihitung menggunakan Index Eichner’s. Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dihitung dengan satuan kg/m2. Kekuatan genggaman tangan diukur menggunakan hand dynamometer dalam satuan kilogram. Tingkat aktivitas fisik dievaluasi menggunakan kuesioner terstandar IPAQ. Uji chi-square dan regresi logistik digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jumlah gigi, jumlah oklusi gigi dan variabel covariat dengan kekuatan genggaman tangan.Hasil: Uji Chi-square menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan kekuatan genggaman tangan antara subjek yang memiliki jumlah gigi ≥20 dan <20 serta antara subjek dengan ≥2 dan <2 zona oklusi gigi posterior. Faktor risiko penurunan kekuatan genggaman tangan adalah aktivitas fisik (OR= 6,342, p=0,010). Kesimpulan: Mempertahankan jumlah gigi ≥20 dan aktivitas fisik bermanfaat untuk mempertahankan kesehatan oral dan sistemik.
