Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of cardiorespiratory endurance (VO₂Max) in soccer player performance. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze the role of cardiorespiratory endurance (VO₂Max) in soccer player performance, following the PRISMA guidelines in the article selection and analysis process. The keywords performance, soccer, and VO₂Max were used to search for relevant articles published between 2021 and 2025 in the Scopus database. A literature search in the database identified 168 articles. From 2021 to 2025, categorical articles (n=76) and inaccessible articles that did not meet the inclusion criteria (88) were selected from the entire database. Furthermore, filtered articles were selected based on keywords related to performance, Soccer, VO₂Max (n=42), and then relevant articles (n=10) were selected. Conclusion, VO₂Max plays an important role in improving heart and lung endurance, maintaining concentration, and supporting players' repeated sprint ability. Good aerobic capacity helps speed up the energy recovery process so that players can maintain game intensity and reduce fatigue. Improvements in VO₂Max can be achieved through systematic training programs such as interval and circuit training. Proper training planning by coaches according to the needs and characteristics of athletes can achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

In the transportation sector, motorized vehicles are currently a contributor to pollution in Indonesia, producing CO2 emissions. In an effort to achieve environmentally friendly and low-carbon motorized vehicles, promoting electric cars to the public is an important strategy that is being pursued by countries throughout the world. The large target of converting ICE cars to electric cars requires a series of analyzes to accelerate efforts to convert the use of electric cars from various angles which will ultimately be successful as a promotional medium for potential electric car users. To carry out this analysis, there is one calculation method, namely calculating the total cost of ownership (TCO) of an electric car. This method has been studied in countries that are concerned with promoting the use of electric cars. In this research, we will present a calculation model for the TCO of electric cars and the TCO of conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) cars as a comparison. The cars analyzed in this research consist of several electric cars and ICE cars according to their respective performance levels, where for each electric car an analysis of several battery ownership schemes is also attempted, namely those owned by the car owner, rental batteries and those owned by the car owner. However, some components can be repaired. The calculation model will consist of capital and operational costs, namely the purchase price, resale value, government subsidies, retailer discounts, battery replacement costs, maintenance, insurance, vehicle tax and energy consumption costs.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The importance of physical fitness in volleyball and its application in physical education which has not been maximized has encouraged research on the analysis of the impact of physical fitness on volleyball learning in relation to a longitudinal review of the aspects of speed, strength, and flexibility from the perspective of a sports pedagogy approach. Methodology: This study uses a longitudinal approach to analyze changes in aspects of learning evaluation and physical fitness of students over a period of 24 weeks involving three main parameters, namely: strength, speed, and flexibility through test instruments, to then be analyzed using repeated measurements of one factor (ANOVA) and measuring effect size with Hedges' g. Main Findings: The results of the study revealed that volleyball learning has a positive impact on students' learning achievement patterns and physical fitness in terms of speed, strength, and flexibility viewed from sports pedagogy. The implications of these findings are relevant to the development of physical education curricula and sports training programs along with their assessments that provide a scientific basis for planning sustainable training programs. Novelty/Originality of this study: The analysis of volleyball learning and its impact in the field of physical education evaluation in this study focuses on analyzing the sports pedagogy approach so that it not only analyzes the impact of learning but also develops an analysis related to aspects of physical fitness and learning as a whole using a longitudinal review from a sports pedagogy perspective.
