Abstract

Integrated learning is planned based on the theme to relate several subjects that able to give meaningful experience to students. Natural science subject is themed to discuss about natural phenomena, which materials was obtained from mindset and observation. Natural science should be introduced from childhood to Elementary School students to make the students able to think critically, creatively, and build scientific characters. Initial survey results showed that elementary school students were difficult in providing students’ thematic learning effectively; thereby, many students were difficult to learn and answer the questions in the online handout. Integrated learning is one of the models which can improve students’ competence. To use this model, students’ book is needed. This research was conducted to develop students’ book based on integrated learning model which were valid, pratical, and effective to accelerate students’ competence. This research and development used Plomp model with three steps: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The instruments of this research were interview guides, observation sheets, teachers and students’ questionnaires, students’ test result, skills and behavior and skills scoring sheets. The result of this research showed that the developed students’ book has been valid based on experts’ judgement, teachers’ responses and students. The application of students’ book was effective to improve students’ competence.

Abstract

The competence of vocational students in mastering electric motor installation was still low, because learning process has not involved student activities. One of the choices to activate students in learning was through project-based learning. Students were trained to be able to solve problems and make creative products. Project-based learning that applied in learning the Electric Motor Installation has not been able to increase students’ creativity in solving problems and make creative products. Therefore, research was carried to develop a project-based learning model into creative project-based learning. To support the implementation of the creative project-based learning model, teaching material is needed. The development of creative project-based learning use research and development method of 4D model of Thiagarajan with the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The research instruments were interview guides, observation sheets, questionnaires, skills assessment sheets, and test. Data analysis use percentage, gain score, and t-test. The research resulted a creative project-based learning model that was valid, practical and effective to improve student competence in Electric Motor Installation. The creative project-based learning model can increase students' creativity and competence in the form of mastery of teaching materials, skills in make the creative product and work attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning outcomes of grade 3 elementary students through immersed model. This research was conducted in the even semester of teachings 2019/2020. The research method used is Class Action Research (PTK) with 3 cycles of action. The subjects of the study were grade 3 students, totaling 28 students, consisting of 14 male learners and 14 female learners. The data collection technique used is test. The test was conducted to measure the level of completion of learners' learning outcomes in learning through immersed model models. In the implementation of research through immersed models through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. From the results of the study on cycle I obtained a percentage of classical completion 55.17%. In cycle II there was an increase in classical completion learning outcomes of 82.76%. It can be concluded that the model of make a match and media diorama can improve the learning outcomes of grade 3 elementary students

Abstract

The preliminary survey in Elementary School in Lima Puluh Kota District showed that the textbook for thematic learning was not in accordance with the principles of integrated learning and not yet in accordance with the around environment of the students, so that the lesson was not understood of the students. therefore the purpose of this study is to develop integrated thematic textbooks using the scientific approach valid, practical and effective.The research used the four D model of Tiagahajan that consist of 4 stages, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instruments were observation sheets, validation sheets, questionnaires, learning outcomes tests. The results showed that integrated thematic textbooks with a scientific approach include valid categories based on expert judgment. Textbooks include very practical categories based on teacher and student responses. Effectiveness of textbooks based on student learning activities and mastery learning. The most of students were active in learning. The student learning outcome in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes domain has been include the mastery learning category for the most of students (more than 85%). Thus it can be concluded that integrated thematic textbooks with scientific approaches were feasibility of being used as reference books in Elementary School.

Abstract

With the development of technology in the 21st century it has been able to provide pro-active learning, easy to understand and comprehensive as a learning environment, so it needs to be created IT-based learning media, namely edugames to help the learning process in elementary schools. The problem encountered in this study is that a small portion of teachers do not understand how to design edugames learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to design edugames learning in mathematics learning. The type of research used is development using the Plomp model. The subjects in this study were teachers of Bukittingi City 02 Pilot School. The instrument in this study was edugames learning media. This research produces edugames media in the learning process created by the teacher

Abstract

SAVI adalah kependekan dari Somantic Audio Visual Intelektual adalah suatu model pembelajaran yang menggunakan semua indera dalam mengiatkan aktitifitas belajar. Meier (2005) menyatakan keunggulan SAVI adalah: (1) menggabungkan gerak fisik dengan aktifitas intelektual dan penggunaan semua indera dalam pembelajaran, (2) mengintegrasikan pembelajaraaan teori dan pratikum untuk memantapkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap. (3) kondisi belajar yang kondusif untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, motivasi, dan wawasan, (4) memanfaatkan teknologi. Hal inilah yang seharusnya diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran Konsep Dasar IPA SD agar dicapai tujuan dan kualitas belajar yang lebih baik terutama pemahaman konsep dan kegiatan pratikum pembelajarannya. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada Borg (1979). Secara konseptual metode penelitian dan pengembangan ditahun pertama ini diringkas untuk pelaksanaan penelitian di lapangan, meliputi: (1 ) studi pendahuluan (pengumpulan informasi), (2) perencanaan model, (3) pengembangan model (4) revisi, (5) produk model dihasilkan, pada 22 orang mahasiswa PGSD yang mengikuti perkuliahan Konsep Dasar IPA SD. Model pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium menggunakan pendekatan SAVI yang dikembangkan mencakup tiga komponen, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan nilai rata-rata aktifitas siswa pada Siklus 1 sebesar 62,8% dan Siklus kedua sebesar 70,5%. Rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswa dalam (1) melakukan pratikum termasuk kategori sangat baik (2) mendiskusikana hasil pratikum termasuk kategori baik, (3) mengkomunikasikan hasil termasuk kategori baik, (4) menyajikan hasil termasuk kategori baik.

Abstract

Practicum is the most important part of learning science because science is based on physical symptoms in everyday life. Each topic of science learning should be taught through practicum or demonstration conducted in the laboratory. In public schools, generally, there are many study groups, making it difficult for teachers to schedule practicum activities. Integrated Instrument Components (KIT) is one solution to the limitations of tools in the laboratory. The practicum KIT is a set of practicum tools that are packaged in such a way in a box containing practicum tools. The results of the initial survey at partner schools show that: (1) Teachers have difficulty using the science practicum KIT. (2) Laboratory and KIT for science practicum are available at school. (3) Teachers have difficulty in developing student worksheets (LKPD). (4) The use of science laboratories is still lacking because science teachers' areas of expertise are physics education and biology education. The purpose of the community partnership program (PKM) activity is to improve the ability of science teachers to use the practical KIT and develop practicum-based LKPD in accordance with the tools available in the science kit. The method of carrying out activities is the method of lecture, discussion, demonstration, and practice. The activity data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets, and LKPD assessment sheets. The results of the PKM activity show that the skills of the trainees using the science practicum KIT are in a good category. The ability to develop LKPD is included in the good category. The resulting LKPD is in a good category.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tematik, yang disebabkan oleh kurang optimalnya guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran selama proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil tes yang diidentifikasi nilai rata-rata ulangan harian siswa yang masih rendah pada setiap mata pelajaran dan melalui wawancara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Islam Raudhatul Jannah semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas III berjumlah 24 siswa Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah secara deskripsi kuantitatif, dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus yaitu Tema Lingkungan dengan sub tema Lingkungan Rumahku. Hasil penelitian terlihat pada lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siklus I dan siklus II berada dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil tes siklus I siswa tuntas individu sebanyak 16 orang dari 24 siswa. Dengan ketuntasan klasikal 67%. Sedangkan pada siklus 2 peserta didik yang tuntas individual 22 orang dari 24 siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal 92 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media visual dapat meningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tematik peserta didik di kelas 3

Abstract

Model pembelajaran kuantum adalah suatu model pembelajaran yang menekankan pentingnya peranan lingkungan dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif dan optimal dan memudahkan keberhasilan tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Kuantum dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa dan memaparkan cara pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Kuantum dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di kelas IV. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yang merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai Kabupaten Dharmasraya, dengan jumlah 30 orang, 16 orang laki-laki dan 14 orang perempuan. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan tes dan lembaran observasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh, hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai meningkati dengan menggunakan model kuantum terlihat dari aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotoriknya yaitu: pada tes awal 17%, tes siklus I 53%, dan mengalami peningkatan pada tes siklus II menjadi 87%

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar aspek kognitif dan afektif siswa IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dengan metode konvensional di kelas V SDN 34 Air Pacah Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini ada dua kelas yaitu siswa kelas V A dan V B dengan jumlah siswa 49 siswa. Penentuan kelas sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menggunakan random sampling. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji-t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar aspek kognitif rata-rata IPA di kelas eksperimen adalah 86,25 dan kelas kontrol adalah 74,8. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan thitung > ttabel , dengan thitung 2,91 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,68 pada taraf signifikan signifikan 0,05. Hasil belajar dari aspek afektif kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen adalah 75,83 dan 70,63. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan thitung > ttabel , dengan nilai thitung sebesar 1,81 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,68 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara aspek kognitif dan afektif siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray.
