Abstract

With the development of technology in the 21st century it has been able to provide pro-active learning, easy to understand and comprehensive as a learning environment, so it needs to be created IT-based learning media, namely edugames to help the learning process in elementary schools. The problem encountered in this study is that a small portion of teachers do not understand how to design edugames learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to design edugames learning in mathematics learning. The type of research used is development using the Plomp model. The subjects in this study were teachers of Bukittingi City 02 Pilot School. The instrument in this study was edugames learning media. This research produces edugames media in the learning process created by the teacher

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low listening ability of fifth-grade students, which was caused by the use of inappropriate teaching materials. To address this, listening materials based on audio-visual media were developed, integrating positive character education to improve students’ listening skills. The objective of this development was to produce valid, practical, and effective teaching materials. This research was research and development (R&D) utilizing the 4-D model, consisting of the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Data on validity were obtained through RPP validation sheets and teaching materials, while practicality data were collected through lesson plan implementation, observation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. Effectiveness was measured from students’ learning activities and outcomes, including character assessment and listening skills. The results showed that the developed teaching materials were very valid, practical based on teacher observations and questionnaires, and effective, with 93% of students able to listen effectively using the audiovisual media. Based on these findings, the listening materials based on audio-visual media for grade V elementary students can be declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-supported meaningful learning into elementary social studies education in Indonesia, with a focus on enhancing students’ social skills and moral sensitivity. Grounded in qualitative research design, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and the analysis of learning activities in selected public elementary schools. Findings reveal that AI-based learning platforms such as adaptive discussion forums, collaborative digital projects, and interactive simulations encourage students to actively engage in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Moreover, AI-assisted scenarios that present moral dilemmas and provide reflective feedback foster students’ ability to recognize ethical values, practice empathy, and develop moral reasoning. The study highlights how AI can serve not merely as a technological tool, but as a pedagogical partner that enriches the value-laden nature of social studies. However, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure, uneven teacher readiness, and educational–cultural considerations in Indonesia remain significant barriers to sustainable implementation. Overall, the integration of AI-supported meaningful learning demonstrates promising potential to strengthen competency skills and moral awareness among young learners, while also offering insights for curriculum reform and policy development in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem arising from the lack of innovation in Pancasila Education Learning, where the use of teaching materials is still limited to printed forms and the minimal use of digital technology has the potential to hinder the achievement of learning objectives, especially in realizing the Pancasila Student Profile. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a valid, practical, and effective e-module assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Grade V of Elementary Schools so as to improve student understanding and involvement in the learning process. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The Trial Subject was conducted at SDN 36 Cengkeh, then continued with research at SDN 30 Cengkeh and implemented at SDN 18 Kampung Baru for fifth grade elementary school students. The results of the research on the development of E-Modules Assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School are valid with an overall validation percentage of 92.95% in the Very Valid category. For the overall results of teacher practicality, the percentage obtained was 90.52% in the Very Practical category and the overall results of student practicality obtained a percentage of 91.70% in the Very Practical category. In addition, this E-Module assisted by Book Creator has also proven effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material "Various Norms in My Life". Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the E-Module Assisted by Book Creator in Pancasila Education Learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School is declared valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process.
